Next, Russia has lost over 2000 tanks, all visually confirmed on Oryx. Saying steamrolling would cause higher losses would come close to the last Russian tank, but that would mean succes is not an option...
Third, what we saw during Prigozhin's little big adventure was how fast they advanced without meeting ANY resistance on the ground. The defence of Moskow was dumptrucks as roadblocks and police officers and some Rosvgardia with BTR's. No tanks, not even BMP's.
If Russia can't find tanks or other heavy defences for Moscow of all places, where suddenly loads of private planes start leaving, that means they ARE NOT THERE.... Russia has deployed all to Ukraine and has nothing to spare
So in other words, they are not capable of doing much more than they are doing right now: holding on by their fingernails

According to Red Alert plot, some of russian tanks went from Mexico. How do you think what actions would USA do if Russia created military bases in Mexico? If you know correct answer, why are you surprised that this movie came true?
The same thing the US did about that military base in Cuba that Russia had for 40 years: nothing.

@@fedorsymkin2961 You have that backwards. The US and the USSR had an agreement they could send defensive weapons and personal to Cuba. The nuclear weapons were a violation of that agreement and caused the near invasion of Cuba. Since the nuclear weapons were removed, the US would be free and clear to invade Cuba and remove the Russian military base, but they didn't bother. Because of the US nuclear arsenal, they aren't afraid of any Russian invasions into the US via Mexico, Canada or Cuba.

Even the hovercraft in the intro has a 'corkscrew' design which isn't in the game
That unit itself is not in the game. In fact it is not even in the original cutscene.
In the original cutscene there is a halftrack looking thing with missiles instead of a flak cannon and its likely the person who created this just got the truck wrong.
I would guess originally the Flak Track was supposed to have missiles instead but it got changed after the intro was created.

That bit with the fleet of Kirovs behind the Statue of Liberty is awesome addition to the original and looks really cool though it kind of doesn’t make sense since the Soviet invasion force was coming from the east, the Kirovs here would be coming from southwest of Manhattan

When I watched this as a kid, I was enthralled! But the Giant Squid around the submarine and the Spider Drone running along the tanks did gave me the goosebumps, but they end up becoming my favorite units. 😆
