If I remember correctly, the guy everyone is chasing is expelling a poisonous gas from his body that kills everyone around him except the character himself due to some kind of accident. He doesn’t know this, so instead finds people around him who die without any reason and goes to find help, not knowing he IS the reason people are dying left and right.
As someone who has been living and working in Japan for the past decade, I can concur that many Japanese are like Nobuo who don't know any common sense without clear instructions from superiors/supervisors/boss. Taking initiatives and analyzing situations is a skill reserved for few of them. Nobuo is a satirical text book example of a company cog that is unable to function normally outide his corporate environment without clear cut instructions from the "senpai" or superior/boss if you will.
The guy is also a complete idiot. I think that associating something simple like dead people and the fact that you are the target of gunfire and even missiles would say the basics that you are the problem.

The guy on the moped ended up taking a pill that was for an experimental bioweapon, which was located at the clinic he works at. He took it because he thought it was a treatment for his cold. The pill caused his body to start giving off a deadly gas that kills anything(aside from himself and plants) and can even go through gas mask filters. He is givien orders from the company's higher-ups to come to Tokyo with the necessary information(not knowing he took the pill). They would find out he's the cause of the has moving towards Tokyo soon after some SDF soldiers are killed when they got too close to him. They would try to kill him as best they could using most of the SDF arsenal, but the gas(more accurately, plot armor) kept all of the weapons from hitting him. It would only be when he was trapped in a tunnel that the US Army would deploy specialized NASA astronaut suits worn by US soldiers to apprehend him, unfortunately killing one of the Americans in order to put him in one of the suits, trapping all the gas inside.
This story is based on the case of Gloria Ramirez in 1994 and it's confirmed to be an inspiration from that. Gloria Ramirez was admitted to a hospital in Riverside, California for cervical cancer. When the staff began treating her, injecting her with sedation drugs like diazepam, a chemical reaction occured with her blood that produced dimethyl sulfate - a highly toxic acid. The staff near Ramirez began feeling ill with one nurse fainting. The reason for the chemical reaction was that Ramirez was taking dimethyl sulfoxide, a degreaser that can be bought at hardware stores as a home remedy pain medication. That one chemical basically started the chain of events that lead up to the whole ordeal.
Part of the humor here is that the JSDF h istorically are pretty tight with use of force and account for every round lost at training ranges. Them randomly opening fire on their own land shows how insane the situation is and is innately discombobulating whereas Americans are probably pretty comfortable with the idea of our locality becoming a warzone att his poitn.
This guy in the anime: Survives an ordeal and causes a shit ton of dead. This guy IRL: In 1 minute gets killed and burned into the oblivion with napalm.
This is probably the funniest shit I have ever seen in an anime. Just pure comedy gold for me! I tend to pass out from laughing to hard and I nearly lost consciousness twice from laughing so hard.

Modern animation is still hand drawn just in digital form Instead of using specialized paper with peg holes and pencil, we use animation softwares and drawing tables or screen tablets
@@jindrat8502 also the digitalization made it easier to fix wrong drawings without having to redraw the entire scene, you don't have to worry about line quality since you can set that up in the software or worry about smudges that will make you repeat the entire drawing. I worked on western cartoon tv series, but our work flow is similar to japanese animation. Only the animation technique is different Also another one if you're comparing animation make sure you're not comparing movies to tv series, since tv series have lower budget and lower quality standard than movies.
This style of anime is so beautifully detailed. The first time I really remember appreciating it is after seeing Akira for the first time many years back.

I miss when Old Timey Anime was animated realistically not with explosions that unrealistically covereded like the whole world and when the plots were original.

Modern animation is still hand drawn just in digital form
Instead of using specialized paper with peg holes and pencil, we use animation softwares and drawing tables or screen tablets

@@jindrat8502 maybe because old animation is shot by real camera and hand painted, digital colors looks different depending on what software is used.
@@jindrat8502 also the digitalization made it easier to fix wrong drawings without having to redraw the entire scene, you don't have to worry about line quality since you can set that up in the software or worry about smudges that will make you repeat the entire drawing.
I worked on western cartoon tv series, but our work flow is similar to japanese animation. Only the animation technique is different
Also another one if you're comparing animation make sure you're not comparing movies to tv series, since tv series have lower budget and lower quality standard than movies.
When you're playing GTAV with a 5 star wanted level, thinking you'll get away but then it goes up to 6 stars

The first one was my favorite like that space mystery horror vibe to it reminds me of the old Alien movies before they stumble on the alien.

This style of anime is so beautifully detailed. The first time I really remember appreciating it is after seeing Akira for the first time many years back.

I miss when Old Timey Anime was animated realistically not with explosions that unrealistically covereded like the whole world and when the plots were original.
