    About Nate's hair: The actor's hair is partially gray, but they darkened it in the early season. As he's 'progressing', they've let it slip first to his natural grayness level, and at this point in the season they're actually putting more gray in.

    "The Pyramid of Success" is a sports concept by US basketball coach John Wooden (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's coach in college, to show you how long ago it was created). It suggests that to achieve great things, some traits should be introduced earlier than others, and others should not be addressed until the earlier ones are refined. It's basically "..don't try to fix it all at once.." with his opinions on in what order a team should approach all traits. Jason played basketball when he was in college, I don't know if you can see it in the earlier episodes, but he's got a picture of it in his office.

    That's why she doesn't have much in the apartment. It's not her home. She doesn't doesn't have a drinking problem.

      I think she definitely had a drinking problem, at least while she was in that apartment. She literally had nothing except wine and water, no milk for tea, no soft drink or juice.
      Thats a big sign to me

      @@AdamfromFWCI I disagree. I've been in that situation. You just don't keep that much there. I usually got anything on my way home each day. You don't really have guests because you don't know anybody. She didn't drink tea because, like Ted, she also hated it. If she drank coffee, she most likely got it on the outside. That's what did. It was better, and I wasn't going to buy a coffee maker. You don't even have much in the way of food, because you are mostly getting take away. She might not drink soft drinks. Very possible for the kind of person who has a foldable bicycle lifestyle. 2 or 3 glasses of wine a night, say one when you first come home, one 3 hrs later with dinner, one 2 hrs later while watching TV before bed wouldn't be considered a drinking problem. It would add up the wine bottles though. Not even saying she does that every night.

      What about the multiple empty hard liquor bottles? and the way she shamefully hid them. She certainly had time to go buy those.
      Appreciate the comment Harold :)

      @@frozenharoldyou’re wrong. Tv time is limited therefore very precious. So anything that makes it to the air means something. That scene was very obviously hinting at the fact she might be drinking more than she should. That doesn’t necessarily mean alcoholism but it does mean there is something off. The fact that it’s not really her home and therefore she doesn’t have a lot of personal stuff has nothing to do with it. Because 1) that doesn’t stop her from trying to personalize it for the time she is spending there, like tose from titanic who literally travels with all of her pics (and so do I! Haha). And 2) she may have an empty apartment because it isn’t hers and not have the desire to personalize it because it’s temporary, it doesn’t mean she needs to fill it with empty bottles. Ando also, no one drinks a couple of wine glasses a night and just collects every single bottle, never throwing them away.
      I mean, seriously, everyone knows when a character in a movie or tv show is shown collecting a bunch of empty bottles that’s an indicator they have a drinking problem or some kind of problem on some level. Like, that’s literally shown for that purpose, so don’t be obtuse.

    Enjoy! Royston is a place in London apparently. When Ted went to her apartment he said ah typical corporate housing. Richmond FC rented it for her. Nate is under the influence of Rupert. He’s feeling bolder, hence the suit, kissing Keeley. Interesting it’s a suit Roy would wear.Roy wouldn’t do anything to Nate, he’s not an alpha male like Jamie is. That’s why he’s more upset over Jamie! Nate is absolutely a shit but it’s Rupert whose pushing his buttons.

      It isn't just that Nate isn't an "alpha male," it's that Roy thinks highly of Nate and that Jamie is Keeley's ex-boyfriend. He's always had insecurities about that - unjustly so, given Keeley has never shown interest in him while she and Roy have been together - and hearing that Jamie still has feelings for her increased that tenfold.

    • @AdamfromFWCI
      @AdamfromFWCI  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I just think Roy is not threatened by Nate at all. But I wouldn't say he thinks "highly of Nate" though, I think Roy respects Ted and does his job well by not stirring the pot with Nate.
      But I think Roy believes Nate is a PoS, you can see it on his face when Nate starts badmouthing Ted, Roy's not surprised, he kind of laughs it off like "aaand there's the real Nate"
      Thats how i took it anyway

  • @Gadeberg90
    @Gadeberg90 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    With the Nate and Keeley situation, that properbly one of the first times if not the first time a female has been kind to him which he might have mistook as flirting or something like that. But for me it's a positive sign that we see him regret it so fast, even being disgusted by himself. And drinking doesn't always mean that people are alcoholics, sure sometimes they are drinking to dull the pain of something, but alcoholics rarely stops again.

      @Cio Lake it's not veggie at all. It's a paste/dough made out of "manioc" in French "yam" I think in English. It's cooked and served with a sauce. That sauce can have veggies.

    I really think you have been overreacting to the scenes where you see people drinking and assume it is happening constantly off-screen as well. Sharon and Ted are not alcoholics. Nothing in their behavior, besides seeing a bottle or an occasional drink, suggests that. At least, in my opinion.

    • @ArdenBijou
      @ArdenBijou ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. Every time someone has a drink he says that. Except for the three guys who basically LIVE at the pub. Just because a character is drinking, even during a bad moment doesn’t mean they’re an alcoholic. It’s a bit annoying.
