Nate seems to be what they call a "kiss up, kick down" sort of person. The only problem is, nobody's ever been "down" from him before, so we only saw the good.
If you put up 2x08 sooner than a week from now I wouldn't complain XD It's an absolutely FANTASTIC episode that will give you a lot to talk about! Jamie being front and center in Ted's panic attack is an interesting wrinkle indeed. It's not the first time he and Ted's son have been linked together; definitely a paternal thing going on with Ted and Jamie, I think, that Ted hasn't consciously realized. The remaining episodes of this season are all 45-50 minutes long, and deservedly so. Can't wait!
@@AdamfromFWCI 2x08 has a really emotional ending, you're gonna love it. 2x09 is coach B's episode. And then, 2x10, the best episode of the show so far (the one that won Emmy this year & one of my fave episodes of TV in general). 2x11&12 are great too.
I'm essentially rewatching with you and I had forgotten how much of a dck Nate was to Will. Yes, check out Ratatouille (a movie for ostensibly for children, so Rebecca maybe should figure out how old the person on the other side is). Also I don't think I'm the only one who notices that after Rebecca calls Ted, there's no acknowledgemt from either of them that it happened (not a thank you, not an "are you okay?nothing). I find that strange. Onwards!
Such a great episode. I really enjoy your reactions and I look forward to them every week. So excited you will be doing Firefly soon! It’s one of my favorite shows.
I really liked this episode, it might be my favourite of the series and its for all the "wrong" reasons lol, there is not a great deal of Joy in this episode. Firefly ep 1 will go up between christmas and new years (same as Schitts Creek), and I'll pick it up after the new year some time (it'll depend on how many views they each do)
Curse of Oak Island is great TV, they find everything they *aren't* looking for. Native pottery, possibly prehistoric stone formations, un-recorded British and French colonial activity. Everything but treasure. Also, a friend's mom was a local expert from one of the museum's in a couple of episodes, so that was cool.
"Generational" trauma can be just as debilitating than an experienced trauma, even more so for many especially if it was passed down in childhood where the child didn't have the tools to deal with or even able to understand it.
You're going to watch Firefly?! Outstanding!! I strongly encourage you to cinsider skipping the episode called "Out of Gas" until AFTER you've watched the film. Hoping other Browncoats (Firefly/Serenity fans) will back me up on this. :)
I find it so interesting that Nate goes after Colin this episode but seems fine with Isaac, who is really equally to blame for bullying Nate. Isaac is team captain and respected by the guys so he’s not someone Nate has the confidence to go after but he sees Colin as below him so has no problem being down right cruel even tho Colin has obviously been trying to make amends. Just shows how Nate views other people now he’s got a bit of an ego and shows exactly where he’s going storyline wise.
Just noticed the Total Football foreshadowing when Jamie told Roy about giving him space, what a great show!

Lol you've convinced me to check it out asap, it might still go up next week, but we'll see how hard it grabs me lol
@@AdamfromFWCI Yay it's totally my fave episode, it's SO good

A friends Mom? A local expert? From one of the Museums????
Could this be linked to the Nights Templar and the Money Pit?
Experts say.... maybe
@@AdamfromFWCI she didn't play along 🤣
I love the reaction to this episode.
Yes, defs watch Ratatouille, it's brilliant and fun. A Disney Pixar combo...can't lose.

You’ve got a couple of weeks (assuming you watch one a week) till the Beard episode

@FWCI Etc Ted wasn't asleep on Dr Sharon's couch, he was pretty much in the fetal position on her couch because of the panic attack. Big difference!
