Wow! What a match! As a Filipion I was cheering for Pagulayan, but I'm also a huge fan of "the Freezer" as a player and as a commentator. Mark White and Kevin Ross did an amazing job commentating. Thank you for posting RailbirdsTV, this was a treat.

It’s called “sharking” when you give someone the 9 all the time until the very end. It’s a mental thing but also respect to a pro that Scott is giving Alex. Both great players
I'm confused how are they speaking on Fedor conceding to Jason at the Hanoi open if this commentary was done at the derby at the beginning of the year?
These matches are recorded live at the Derby, but commentary is done later. Occasionally during the videos a joke might be made pretending we are commentating live, but that is not the case.

Yes, they are conceding the game, therefore they are not required to shoot the 9. There is a rule against conceding the game at DCC (so they should always be shooting the 9 ball), but it's rarely enforced.

Why did they rack the balls with the 9 on the spot instead of the 1 ball
That's the rule at Derby City, and a lot of other large tournaments. The idea is to make it harder to make the wing ball on the break.
