What is low sugar?
Low sugar or hypoglycemia is when a patient has sugar levels below 70mg along with some symptoms like dizziness, fast heartbeats, anxiousness and more.
When someone experiences these symptoms of low sugar, it is best to check the blood sugar levels, if possible at home. If the levels are low then consume 15g of carbohydrates. If the level reaches above 100g in 15 minutes then it is normal.
What causes hypoglycemia?
Diabetics who take high levels of insulin are more prone to hypoglycemia.
