This is one of the best channels I discovered in 2022. I've been crocheting off and on for 40 years but have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for making them!
@leesarolan not only that, but once you accept Him and learn to accept and trust His will, you will find so much peace and relieve yourself from so much stress and heart ache. God has a perfect plan, but we can't see it because we lack His perspective. Trusting is the hardest part, but once you've got that, that's where life gets great and tears of sadness become tears of joy. 💖 I pray someone reads this that needs Him today. 🙏
I appreciate how your tutorials are allot smaller in size, cutting down the actual project helps keep interest in the tutorial as well as helping anyone who may be stuck later in the project bc it doesn’t take as long for you to go through the steps. Always enjoy your videos, a beautiful soul 😊
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING YOUR TUTORIALS ON YOU TUBE AND NOT PATREON OR REFER US ALL TO A STORE TO BUY THE PATTERNS. THIS WAY, EVERYBODY IS INCLUDED. I LOVE THAT ABOUT YOU AND YOUR CONTENT. LOVE THOSE COLORS!!!!
I loved the join method! I'm not sure why I've never seen this before, maybe because I stay away from patterns with squares because I hate all that sewing together at the end. I know you do a smaller piece for tutorials too save time - always doing an excellent job of showing the technique several times so we all get it! When the boarder was finished this one screamed pillow to me! The perfect size to try this out without a big commitment and have something useful when I'm done. Thank you for all your great work
You have no idea how much better I feel as a crocheter when you had your ch1 decide to not go. That mess happens to me a lot, so someone with far more skill than me having it happen makes me feel better. This is an adorable blanket, and I’m thinking about using it along with some granny squares I’ve got waiting to be put together.
I like the blanket but I love the swag! Had to put in a plug for the great mugs and t-shirt I got for my daughter. It captures her essence "maker of things". Thank you Toni.
I am SO glad I just found your page!!! I stumbled across one of your old videos from 2 years ago about tips and tricks. I am relearning crocheting and hoping to not give up on it again so I can make my family and friends blankets. This video is exactly what I needed!! 🙌🏼
This is so much easier than the intarsia method I used a couple of years ago for a checkerboard-type pattern, which was a major pain in the patootie. This makes me want to try again.
Love the idea of creating the grid. I've crocheted a few afghans over the years, with my mother's help, but I haven't been consistent. So, I'm practically a newbie. She's almost 90 now and tires easily, so I'm excited to have found your channel. Your instructions are so clear and concise. Thank YOU!
i plan on trying out this pattern with Lion Brand Mandala cakes i have laying around! i had a vision for large, solid blocks and alternating which cake i use between blocks. this pattern is going to be perfect for what i am imagining :) thank you!
I very much enjoyed watching this video. What made it even more fun was that I was having my very first cold drink in my sticker mug that arrived today. How's that for great timing??!
Love love LOVE this pattern! Got my order of cotlin yesterday to start working on a queen sized version (because I'm a bit mad 😅). Couldn't get my tension/gauge right so sized down to a 4.5 mm hook but I'm really struggling with the splitting of this yarn. Would love to see a review video of your favorite yarns that DON'T split or tips/tricks for when working with very splitty yarns.
Love the join method. So much less work. For borders, I like to put three stitches in the corners. For me, it seems to keep the corners from rolling inward.
A very beautiful blanket! I really love the colours! Please keep on these wonderful tutorials! I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!❤!😊!
I am trying to email you but I am informed that I can’t. Is it because I am trying to email you from Greece? Please let me know! Thank you in advance!❤😊!!
Hi have a question. Friend asked me to make this blanket. She asked it to be about 54x60 which I did with no problem. But here is my problem. I don't have enough mats to block the whole thing at once. Any idea how I could/should block it.
I just started to learn to crochet and my first project is going to be this blanket! I tried acrylic yarn and I just can't do it it falls apart and it's just so horrible. Thank you for this video
I'm late to the party, but I'm so excited to make this blanket!! Does anyone have any advice on adding more squares to the blanket while keeping the pattern of colors random? I made my grid of colors, and after crocheting the first row of colors I realized I want to make it a lot bigger, but I'm not sure what order to put the colors in!
Hi! When planning colors, I worked off a hand-drawn grid. I used a site called grannysquarecolors.com/. You put in the colors you're using, and how many squares are in your blanket, and it will randomly generate a layout for you. It's a super fun tool and kind of addictive to see all of the random layouts you can make :-)
Hi, Im a new subscriber and I’ve never crocheted anything. I did just knit a scarf that was supposed to take 5 hours and took me more like 12. Is this a good beginner one? I’d love to do this.. if not what do you recommend.
Hi, please can someone help me. I'm a bit confused with round 1 of double crochets for the border. How many double crochets are there in the corners? If I pause the video at 11:22, it looks like 4 dc but Toni says work 2 dc. I've looked at the written instructions as well but that's even more confusing for me because it mentions 3 dc. Help!
This is one of the best channels I discovered in 2022. I've been crocheting off and on for 40 years but have learned so much from your videos. Thank you for making them!
Love how she does these joins so you don't have to put blocks together for hours...💕
Jesus loves you he died on the cross for your sins. Believe in him and you will be saved and go to heaven!
Yes, this is so easy! I will definitely be making one of these!

I love this pattern so much! I get so bored with one color and this will keep my interest and give me so many scrap options
Love this pattern and your channel. Any chance you can give me instrucitons to work this as leftie? Thanks so much! :)
As a former quilter, that blanket really speaks to me and I have that yarn.
I appreciate how your tutorials are allot smaller in size, cutting down the actual project helps keep interest in the tutorial as well as helping anyone who may be stuck later in the project bc it doesn’t take as long for you to go through the steps. Always enjoy your videos, a beautiful soul 😊
Looks great for a knit or crochet gameboard/ chessboard
Great gift idea
@@kimberlywiley7727 I'm making that for my son's birthday.
This is a beautiful blanket. I love how quickly it works up. The join is so simple and the boarder is pretty. Thank you for sharing. 💜🙏🏻
I just finished making this blanket. WOW!!! It looks way more complicated than what it is. Thank you, Toni, for a great pattern and tutorial.
Come on people subscribe. If you even think about watching her vids you should also think about subscribing!

You are so much fun to watch, even tutorials.
I like the blanket but I love the swag! Had to put in a plug for the great mugs and t-shirt I got for my daughter. It captures her essence "maker of things". Thank you Toni.
