മെട്രിക് രീതിയിൽ എടുത്ത അളവിനെ Imperial രീതിയിലേക് മാറ്റി cft രീതിയിൽ കണക്കാക്കുമ്പോൾ 8.27 cft കിട്ടും. അതേസമയം metric രീതിയിൽ കിട്ടിയ അളവിനെ cft യിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുമ്പോൾ 7 cft ആണ് കിട്ടുന്നത്. അതായത് മില്ലിൽ നിന്നും cft രീതിയിൽ അളന്നു വാങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഇല്ലാത്ത മരത്തിന്റെ (അധികമായി വന്ന 1.27 cft)പൈസ കൂടി കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നു.

2000വും 3000 വും ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാതെയും ഇത് കണ്ട് പിടിക്കാം. മരത്തിന്റെ സെന്റർ ഭാഗത്തെ വണ്ണത്തിന്റെ 1/4 എടുക്കുക. (ഉദാ: സെന്റർ വണ്ണം 48 ഇഞ്ച് ആണെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ 1/4 =12) വണ്ണത്തിന്റെ 1/4 നെ അതുകൊണ്ട് ഗുണിക്കുക.( 12×12= 144) ആ കിട്ടിയ സംഘ്യയെ നീളം കൊണ്ട് ഗുണി ക്കുക.( ഉദാ: നീളം 10 അടി ആണെങ്കിൽ 144×10= 1440) ഇൗ കിട്ടിയ സംഘ്യയേ 144 കൊണ്ട് ഭാഗിച്ചാൽ കിട്ടുന്നത് cubic feet.(1440÷144= 10) 144 കൊണ്ട് ഹരിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നത് വണ്ണം ഇഞ്ച് അളവും നീളം അടി കണക്കും ആയതിനാൽ ആണ്.
48 ഉം 12 ഉം അല്ലാതെ അളവുകളൊന്നുമില്ലേ?
@@kcthomas53 എത് അളവിൽ വേണമെങ്കിലും എടുക്കാം. ഉദാഹരണം ആയതുകൊണ്ട് കാണാം കൂട്ടാൻ എളുപ്പം ഉള്ള സംഘ്യ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു എന്നുമാത്രം. 49 ഇഞ്ച് വണ്ണം ഉള്ള തടി ആയാൽ 49/4= 12.25 എന്നുകിട്ടും . തടിയുടെ നീളം 11 അടി ആയാൽ 11.46 ക്യൂബിക് അടി ഉണ്ടാകും ആ തടി.

The way metric is calculated is right. But your imperial way is wrong.
Our people usually converted a circle to square. Meaning the circumference of a circle divide by 4 will be measurement for one side of a perfect square. Volume of a cuboid will be side x side x length.
Considering circumference to be 100inch
And length to 6ft.
Your eq.n will be (100/(4x12))*(100/(4x12))*6
So on the top you will ve. 100x100x6
And at the bottom you will ve. (4x4x12x12)
That's how you ve. 2304 at the bottom
No body converts a pie value to 4 that will absurd.

My friend, from where did you get the 16. It is not 16, it is 4 x pi = 4 x 3.14. That’s why I am saying, you consider pi as 4 in metric and imperial method. So you are not getting any difference. If you want the same answer don’t change the metric method, use 1808.64 instead of 2304 in imperial. But unfortunately we are using 2304 from long time as thumb rule.
In India timber merchants are using the same method. If you want you can go to a saw mill and ask them how to calculate the volume of round timber log
