Highly appreciated your musical knowledge, those are the real reactions musicians like to hear ...!!! I think you heard Floor Jansen growling, Irene is her sister, she's one of the "Ayreon Angels". They look very much like each other hence the mix-up I guess ...!!! At the end of the video you saw a pop-up of the 1st video of an Ayreon Concert, last year in Tilburg Netherlands, may I suggest you have a look at it? Shine on my friend 🤘
Thank you so much for bringing my request to YT so that I could watch it. Glad you enjoyed it so much. Yes, it is very different from what we're used to hear from Arjen, but man, I love it. I think that Robert Soeterboek (pronounce it like Sooterbook) is a very underrated artist. He is singing in the Ayreon Universe live show as well. Irene is part of Ayreon's Angels and performed in Ayreon Universe and in Ayreon - Live beneath the Waves. I don't remember her growling though, that was the tiny little powerhouse from Belgium, Maggy Luyten. Jane Goulding hasn't been on any Ayreon live show but I've seen her live at the Rock Pary of the Year in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, together with Irene, both singing backup and solos - she has a powerful voice.
Can't wait for the album to come out in May - it will be released on the same day as the new Ayreon live DVD.
I've already pre-ordered the Ayreon package, and I'm sure i'll add this one. It's brilliant!
