Opening Day Dreaming - Charlton Athletic vs Leyton Orient

New seasons always bring hope and joy to many supports and some of those dreams actually do come true, Charlton Athletic supporters hoped that could be them as a they had themselves new owners, some promising looking signings and find themselves in a League One division with no obvious promotion bankers at least before a ball was kicked. With fans returning to The Valley and a home game against a newly promoted side to kick off the campaign Chartlon fans are dreaming of promotion, but would it get off to a perfect start or would League Two champions Leyton Orient have other ideas?

As a charlton fan I thought we looked ok… could have gotten 3 (should’ve had 2)… or Orient didn’t massively threaten… overall a good result

I’d totally agree with that, that Camara chance especially should’ve been a goal. I do worry a little if going forward that formation might leave Charlton a bit short up front against teams who give them the ball but looked very solid
