    Looks great and well made, the only slight suggestion i'd do if i were building it would be to paint the underside/sides of it black so when it's closed it really blends in other than the board and maybe look into giving the top a "brushed" finish so that any scratches and marks it gets through use don't show up too much.

    • @marcmontalvo787

      Same, i was expecting him to paint or stain the wood

      @NightWalkerasd 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Or maybe a sheet of abs plastic with a rough texture so it blend with the rest.

    • @LOWLOWS18
      @LOWLOWS18 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Even would be nice to put a piece of aluminum on the bottom side so when it's closed you don't see the wood

    Another great video! You could use some sheet steel that sticks to the magnets as a temp heat shield/backsplash/splatter guard for cooking.

    I found your channel back when you first started the wish part series with the civic. I've watched every video since then, truly enjoy your content. It informative, entertaining and exciting to see all your journeys with every vehicle you've purchased so far. Stay Committed! This was a super clean setup and dope build as well, loving the jeep so far.

    I can see you are very fussy and neat person! I hate to cut original part of such a beautiful truck. And You have done the justice! End result looks neat! I know it maybe simple project but making that yourself is a such a great feeling! That magnet idea is such a neat modern thinking man! I love what you did! OCD rocks man! Love your neat work space as well!

    robbie, for the grill/stove and the plastic issue that you addressed at the end. you should get some heat resistant cloth that can just lay over the plastic part while you cook but then can be removed to clean and what not.

    I gotta say, if you stick with the wood cutting board, you might consider staining it dark dark. That way its not like black jeep plastic, black paracord, black metal, and then light tan wood

    Side Note: Have you ever thought about Anodizing your aluminum projects? If you Hard Anodized all that aluminum (Type III Class 2 - Black) - That would look even more amazing than it already does, offer some abrasion/scratch resistants' and really look great when tucked up.

    Would highly recommend cutting a hole in the cutting board or the metal holder! 1. Good for a little cup holder if you need it. 2. If you’re cutting and need to dump trash, you can put a trash bag under it and just slide the trash through it!

    Hey Robbie, It might be a good idea to add some anti-seize in the hole on the tailgate where you drilled into. There is a lot of moisture and I wouldn't want to see that get all rusty. But as all ways, solid job and the jeep is looking fire!
