Just a thought, the storage tray on the passenger side grab handle. While it doesn’t get in the way of the airbag, anything sitting in it becomes a projectile when the airbag is deployed. Especially a cell phone.
I have the center console tray, it was my first mod, and love it. I am considering the grab handle tray and the one for the side of the center thingy would’ve nice if the compartments were a bit longer towards the seats. Great review, love your videos.
Hey Matt, great video, I have the front door cup holders, my leg sits up against it and it can get uncomfortable. Also the front console twin bin hits my leg. Now I am 6’3” so it could just be me. My wife loved both of them
I have a 2024 w]wrangler 2 dr. Have some of these and will say the “one piece over the console with a pocket on both sides” is great….BUT it doesn’t allow the seats to slide forward enough to allow access to the rear seat. There isn’t much room to begin with and this takes that away…
Didn't go through all the comments to see if someone already said this but... I had both the "center console inside" and the "center console front" but they do not work well together. The center console front still leaves you with some storage space underneath it, so it's pretty common to remove it if you need access to items that are deep in the center console. The problem is that when you need to remove the "center console inside" (which still leaves storage space underneath it), the "center console front" is going to be in the way. I ended up leaving just the "center console front", which I found to be more useful.
Absolutely right. That's the reason I didn't tape the outside one on to the console. I don't remove the inner one all that much but still want to have the option, and when I do, I can just pop off the outer one because it isn't taped.
So I got both also and have to get into the inside often. So I actually used snips to clip part of the tab off the outside holder. That way it’s taped down secure and I can still lift out the inside center tray.
@@jenniferwiley7851 Exactly. All,it took for me was my Dremel to file off a tad on the edge of the tray. Both then fit perfect and neither is in the way of the other.

I like the trays in the back, especially the metal tray. The dual tray over the hump would be in the way of my leg and CB on the passenger side. The tray behind the cup holder blocks part of the rear cup holder. The door drink holders are redundant, the JL already has 4. The grab bar tray itself doesn’t block the airbag, but a phone or anything of any size in that tray does, and I don’t want that disrupting the 200 MPH fury of an airbag deployment, or launching a phone at my body or face. Those saddle cubbies in front of the shifter are useless if you have a 2 door they prevent the seat from sliding fwd to access the rear seats mine ha dit when I bought the jeep immediately choose to remove it
The Center console saddle bag storage bins in front of the shifter does not work on the 2-door. When you release the seat to slide it forward to get into the back it hits the storge bin on that side knocking it loose. The Door cup holders are amazing, but..... you must be taller because if the seat is moved forward for shorter leg reach when you shut the door it hits the cup holder. Mine hits on the second closest setting.
I have the two pocket thing that goes in front of the gear selector, the one that goes in front of the arm wrest, and the one that goes above the rear wheel well behind the roll bars. The front two pocket thing is alright. I use it to put napkins on the passenger's side, and a charging cord for my phone (my girlfriend's charging cable plugs into the one in the arm wrest and she has an iPhone and I have an Android, and hers is way more often plugged in when we are on road trips). The downside to this one is that if you are taller, your legs will occasionally be resting on it, especially if you are just sitting in your car while not actually driving, and even more so when you are reclined all the way. It is not that annoying to me, but I can see that being a deal breaker for someone. The one in front of the arm wrest doesn't get much use. It is convenient every now and then, but it is empty 99% of the time. I have a bulletpoint phone mount for the driver's side and passenger's side, so my girlfriend and I both keep our phones in that, or if it is a short trip, then we don't even take them out. The downside to this one is that if you have a large cup that fits in a cup holder on the bottom but extends outwards, it will not fit in the rear cup holder if you have this. So if you and your passenger both get big gulps, one of you will have to hold it in your hands. For normal size drinks, it is fine though. Most normal sizes of cans and bottles will fit, the medium sizes from fast food places fit (probably some of the large sizes too, depending on the chain you are going to) will also fit, and just anything that goes up straight and does not expand outwards at any point will fit. The one that goes in the back above the wheel well behind the roll cage is very convenient for when you are on a road trip or camping. On a normal day where I just go to work, or even on a weekend when I might be driving somewhere, this pocket is empty. But I have used it quite a bit on longer trips. I would recommend this one because it is not taking away anything. After watching this, the one behind the seat will be a future purchase of mine and the grab handle one as well. I could see both of those being useful and not getting in the way of anything.
I don’t even have my Jeep yet, but those cup holders kick ass, I just ordered 2, we use hydro flasks for water, and those things have been a pain in the ass, thank you for this!!
I'd also add this money saver - your 48" hi-lift jack fits easily underneath the rear seats. Why expose your jack to the elements or thieves? Only downside is that the rear seats don't fold down completely with the jack under it.
Grabbed Handle Cubby - love it. When I plug in my phone for carplay navigation - the grab handle cubby is great place to put the phone to keep the wired out of the way.

Great job! Hadn't heard of several them. I have a Firecracker Red JLUR that I got the Molle bags for. Very useful. Took a red Sharpee pen & colored all the white trim edges on them to match. Looks cool!
I bought the door bottle things, installed them, drove it to the store and took them out. There’s not a lot of side to side leg room in these Jeeps and those took up way to much room. Just my opinion.
@@DIRTROADCRED Honestly if these were made of softer materials (like rubber) I think I’d have like them more. That way when not being used they can be squished out of my way. But ya, rear passengers may get more use if you only have the armrest cup holders.

Hi Matt, My metal Molle storage container came with a little bracket and two nuts and bolts. It mounts fine in my JLU using two of the hard top cover torx bolts. I can’t figure out what the bracket is for. It did not come with a diagram or instructions. Do you know?

I didn't need to watch this video. It made me want to buy a Jeep even more. I still don't know if I can depart with my MK6 GTI. I keep talking myself out of selling the GTI for a manual Rubicon. They're each so different yet each so cool in their own way.
You guys should look into Bulletpoint phone/gopro holders, well worth the investment! I have used it in my older JKU and my new JLU, 100% worth the investment!
Personal experience: the "3M" tape on most of those parts is really cheap crap. Even with the plastic parts being molded so well, it's still strong enough to pull the adhesive away from your Jeep if it's off by even a little bit. The adhesive comes loose, then the plastic rattles. It's annoying. I got some thicker Kong mounting tape, and that worked much better. I wish mine had come with those rubber mats in the bottom though. That must be a new thing.

You definitely are a natural, keep up the interesting work. FYI, whenever your kid is big enough to have his/her seat facing forward, he/she will beat the crap out of those molly bags with his/her feet. Just a thought. Also, the grap handle cubby.... My sister in law had her cell phone fly out of the Jeep during a quick tight left turn with doors off. So the anti skid strip in the bottom of these is a must. I have it in mine and it doesn't seem to be a problem, but my brother forgot to put it in his Jeep. Cheers.
Also just received Gear Shift organizer - microfiber. Problem with my two door - seats don't move forward, cant access the rear seats. Glad I don't have to glue it - fits so nicely that I can easily remove it to move the seats. Also makes it easy to clean. Great addition.
It will def effect the airbag. That product should be taken off the market. The passenger in the front passenger seat with enjoy broken plastic in their face if the airbag goes off
Everything is great except the one that goes near the airbag, imagine any thing that you place in there in case of an accident the airbag (copilot side) will come out including the stuff that you placed there… everything will be expelled direct to your face…
I have a number of those plastic storage containers and they're always full of something. The console one that hangs off the front I have in both my wrangler rubicon and my willys gladiator and for some reason I had to trim the piece down just a tiny bit on the gladiator to get it the top of the center of the console to close properly, but it works fine after that small tweak. All in all it adds a lot of really useful storage areas to the Jeep especially upfront. I don't use it for the phone and electronic because I have the bullet point mounts on top of the dash, but for little notes, candies, whatever, those little storage cubbies have been very handy.
That transmission hump saddle organizer is right where my fat knee rests. Definitely a no go for this big boy. But the one that hangs out of the center console…that’s going in my cart

I’ve always wanted a jeep and found a ‘14 jku on carmax which I ordered Friday. Soooo excited! Looked at some of these products as well, nice to see in action. Checking out all the videos, the only thing I’m still having a hard time understanding is how to offset the wheels, what all is needed. Don’t know if I can or should just go to this jeep shop down the street from me, show them a picture of what I’m wanting & let me tell me, I’d hate to get ripped off cause I clearly don’t know yet what I need.

How do you shift gears with the yeti holder? Cool video. I also bought some small bags to carry my recovery gear in. I have to keep the jeep empty though to reduce theft. Hood lock best mood to save battery theft.
I use the 2 tray also as a gun holder for my pistol. I run the holster clip inside the tray and push it back closer to the seat. I prefer it this way because the gun is facing down vs other mounts where that gun goes under the steering wheel and face towards your feet or door.
Problem with my 21 Gladiator are the stiffness of the seats. Having herniated discs on my back from a car accident, makes my back ache. But still love my Gladdy
One thing alot of people dont know is that if you put a yeti bottle upside down, it fits in the cupholder without any accessories, thats how i keep mine in my jk

Do you have no problem applying the handbrake? In my car with "center console front" this is impossible.

I got some thicker Kong mounting tape, and that worked much better. I wish mine had come with those rubber mats in the bottom though. That must be a new thing.

Hey, great, informative video! Can you fit a standard water bottle/drink in the second cup holder with the big yeti adapter AND the front of the console phone pocket in place?
Yes you should be able to!
The metal one in back that only fits on the driver's side if you have premium audio won't fit with one-touch power-top.

FYI, whenever your kid is big enough to have his/her seat facing forward, he/she will beat the crap out of those molly bags with his/her feet. Just a thought. Also, the grap handle cubby.... My sister in law had her cell phone fly out of the Jeep during a quick tight left turn with doors off. So the anti skid strip in the bottom of these is a must. I have it in mine and it doesn't seem to be a problem, but my brother forgot to put it in his Jeep. Cheers.

Wish I got the Mopar floor mats, especially for the back passenger in my Rubicon. Mine have pointy nubs that scratch when I take them out to wash! 😭

Also just received Gear Shift organizer - microfiber. Problem with my two door - seats don't move forward, cant access the rear seats. Glad I don't have to glue it - fits so nicely that I can easily remove it to move the seats. Also makes it easy to clean. Great addition.

It will def effect the airbag. That product should be taken off the market. The passenger in the front passenger seat with enjoy broken plastic in their face if the airbag goes off
There’s a lot that would be affected by the airbag, without any items in this it will still allow the airbag to deploy from what I can tell
I bought a thousand pack (I think) of alcohol wipes for fairly cheap. Lasts forever and you'll always have the wipes for mounting tape.

Everything is great except the one that goes near the airbag, imagine any thing that you place in there in case of an accident the airbag (copilot side) will come out including the stuff that you placed there… everything will be expelled direct to your face…

I have a number of those plastic storage containers and they're always full of something. The console one that hangs off the front I have in both my wrangler rubicon and my willys gladiator and for some reason I had to trim the piece down just a tiny bit on the gladiator to get it the top of the center of the console to close properly, but it works fine after that small tweak. All in all it adds a lot of really useful storage areas to the Jeep especially upfront. I don't use it for the phone and electronic because I have the bullet point mounts on top of the dash, but for little notes, candies, whatever, those little storage cubbies have been very handy.
Tons of storage is great!

I’ve always wanted a jeep and found a ‘14 jku on carmax which I ordered Friday. Soooo excited! Looked at some of these products as well, nice to see in action. Checking out all the videos, the only thing I’m still having a hard time understanding is how to offset the wheels, what all is needed. Don’t know if I can or should just go to this jeep shop down the street from me, show them a picture of what I’m wanting & let me tell me, I’d hate to get ripped off cause I clearly don’t know yet what I need.

How do you shift gears with the yeti holder? Cool video. I also bought some small bags to carry my recovery gear in. I have to keep the jeep empty though to reduce theft. Hood lock best mood to save battery theft.
I would put it in the rear for a manual, for an auto it can still be done!
I use the 2 tray also as a gun holder for my pistol. I run the holster clip inside the tray and push it back closer to the seat. I prefer it this way because the gun is facing down vs other mounts where that gun goes under the steering wheel and face towards your feet or door.

Problem with my 21 Gladiator are the stiffness of the seats. Having herniated discs on my back from a car accident, makes my back ache. But still love my Gladdy
