In this video, I show how to skin Mazda Spoiler with Carbon Fiber Twill Weave 3K 200gsm. Basically, it is the same procedure as skinning carbon fiber using carbon fiber fabric.

Looks good. In the process of skinning some of the plastics on my Ducati Scrambler then I plan on making a custom carbon fiber seat section with more of a streetfighter vibe… Researching foam options now to make a plug for the mold. I’ve skinned before this but it’ll be my first full construction carbon fiber project. 🤞🏼

Another tip if you get fish eye again is get some tape and then lay it down on the area and pull up all around it much easier
no wet sand and polish or compound ?

Hi after applying another side carbon fiber , how you hide the 2 layer joints on all around center line . Becouse its not visible and looking like complete symmetri.
Hello. I want to try this. What did you use to clear coat part? I have no experience in this field.
I use 2k clear coat
is the final clear coat yoy applied brushed on or from a spray can ? and what brands ? thank you for this video as I plan on fiber skinning my challenger spoiler
And clear coat you want UV 2k clear coat and spray it on 2/3 coats will do then gentle polishing will make it look good

bos..epoxy yg untuk lekatkn kain dgn epoxy utk lapiskan kain tu sama ke?..ke yg utk lekatkan kain tu ve resin..satu lg tu epoxy?
Same je.. beza nye 1st layer tu campuran resin + hardenar + pewarna.. yg layer lain² tu campuran resin dengan hardener je.. fungsi layer pertama ada warna adalah untuk melindungi apa² kecacatan pada garisan kain carbon fiber shingga menampakkan dasar..
bos kalau spoiler tu fibre..balut kain cf ok ke? ada kemungkinan kain akan tertanggal x?

You could somehow fold the carbon fibre when transitioning from front to the backside? The other end will have a seam tho
