From someone who is relatively good at Mario kart, I beileve moonview highway is the hardest: Sure rainbow road is hard, but the more you play it you start to learn how to not fall off by memorizing the course. But in moonview highway you never know what your gonna get with all the random cars and bomb cars driving around

moonview highway is my 2nd favourite Mario kart track.
They're both EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASY. Moonview Highway really isn't hard. I got a 1:55 time trial which is decent. I'm proud of my Wario's Gold Mine time trial of 1:46.

The thing I really liked and enjoyed about Wii was the blue trick jump ramps on the sides of tracks. SO much fun!

Man you’re making me nostalgic. I have sooo many memories of playing this game with my parents back when I was little. I would constantly ask them to play, and me and my dad would battle for first place. My mom would be there every once in a while but it was mostly me and my dad. I personally didn’t think any tracks were hard but it was a lot of fun going down memory lane. Thanks Nathaniel for this.
I like how he's playing on automatic drift. That's what makes sharp turns sharp. Try manual Nathaniel.

3. Having the guts to do bowsers castle.
2. Getting first place in wario gold mine.

Violet Rose rainbow road isn’t that hard if you use heavy or medium characters and if you have tilt controls and automatic drifting then your gonna suck. Try doing it without tilt controls and use Manuel drifting and use a heavy or medium character and then you will realise that it isn’t that hard, even for me and I’m not very good at MKWii
I think that moonview highway is the hardest, personally. I usually play on manual so sharp turns aren't as hard. The cars in moonview highway are SOOO ANNOYING! :)

theres a glitch where you climb up the rocks at the starting line using mushrooms and you wont have to do any laps!

Miro Toivonen in races you have to go back and go into he lava but in time trials you can use mushrooms to ramp off that rock and get on it from there.
I've beaten this game about 3 times, but rainbow road is still my enemy. All the other tracks are great and easy for me though.

As a pro at this game, I couldn't help but cringe at his vehicle choose and then complaining about the tough turns + the fact he was using automatic was kinda ironic lol (yes I read to the title don't even try m8)

I have actually Mastered Automatic. Also people don't always have to be Funky Kong in the Spear Bike do they. I use Toadette in the Magikruiser bike because is so good on the Offroad, has good acceleration. i hate the Spear Bike. I beat the whole Grand Prix on Automatic and i have Rank Star of higher in every cup and CC.
+Nintendo Wii Hey, couple of things. One, people don't usually use Funky, spear. Us competitive players use Funky, Flame runner/bowser bike. Or they also use Daisy Mach bike, I personally use this.

R1206 Dude ikr, we use it cause it is the fastest character, and if your really good then off-road doesn't matter.
As a Mario Kart Wii veteran, I must say that this list is accurate.
In my opinion:
1. Moon-view Highway - Rainbow Road might be hard, but you can get it down. This, you can’t get it down. It’s all a gamble.
2. Rainbow Road - Very hard to learn, very little walls. Really dangerous to light-weights.
3. Grumble Volcano - Trying not to get into the Lava is a struggle with Light-Weights and sometimes Medium-Weights.
4. Wario’s Gold Mine - This is basically the same thing as Grumble Volcano.
5. Maple Treeway - The logs are the main threat, but once you know how to control the turns, it’s easy.
6. Bowser’s Castle - Just know the layout
7. Mushroom Gorge - It’s like a Wario’s Gold Mine but your in the air (which is a good thing)
8. Toad’s Factory - The stamps are BRUTAL, but other than that it’s easy
9. DK Summit - Half Pipes are the main thing you need on this track
10. Dry Dry Ruins - It’s mostly on lap 3 is the hardness for this track
I agree with that Moonview Highway is harder than Rainbow Road. There are so many cars in Moonview Highway, and it's hard to avoid them.
Why do people say Luigi circuit is the hardest track? It's the most boring one and so easy to do!

The simplicity is actually the difficult part. Items are a lot harder to counteract since theres really only two drift spots and no real item-independent shortcuts. The 20 shell home stretch barrage is at its realest there

3:39 Coincidentally I was playing Koopa Cape on my 3DS right as he went over it in this video, and I got caught in the water at the end of lap 3. I just BARELY got out without an item, but it is possible! Went from 1st place to 4th place, though.

Maps like DK Summit, Dry Dry Ruins, Koopa Cape, and even Grumble Volcano can get really easy if you practice hard at them, know the layout, and actually know what you are and will do.
BretBlox Gaming actually i never needed practice on these courses I just use karts that are good for the course. I don’t use automatic drifting (which Nathaniel was doing and that’s why it’s so hard for him) and I don’t use tilt controls. I’m not very good at Mario kart wii but these courses aren’t that hard. Even for me,

As someone who plays lots of mariokart and is almost an expert I think that warios gold mine is the worst I mean moonview highway for me isn't so bad and rainbow road is just super fun. Also bowsers castle n64 is incredibly difficult because all of the turns are 90 degree. Plus where is ghost valley 2 on this list (just saying)

In my opinion Wii Rainbow Road is the hardest track ever in Mario Kart. Toad's Turnpike is hard but Wii Rainbow Road track actually moves, so you could do the same thing three laps in a row but one or two of them will result in death. And the gravity glitch is super annoying. If you hit any wall on this track you go flying off in the opposite direction and often of the track.

Some of these tracks had given me a ton of trouble, I was all over the place and would fall off almost every few seconds
None of these courses are hard actually. That's if you master MKW, of course. The hardest courses are always the most fun ones, in my opinion at least. I always enjoyed picking the "hardest" tracks whenever I would do wi-fi races. For me, the hardest tracks are the easiest, and the easiest tracks are the hardest. :3

I am good in all of the MKW tracks...
but if I VS-Races and put the difficulty on hard, and even on mirror! I make it even harder 'cause I always play with Rosalina, with the Aero Glider, the drift of this car is so bad that's why I do not like DS Desert Hills. In DS Desert Hills you slip out of every turn...

Looking back at this now, I feel Koopa Cape should be higher and Delfino Square.

I came back to this video and realized that the tenth hardest is also the seventh easiest
I love Rainbow Road on the Wii version. It's my favorite track and I've managed to perfect my driving it on while not falling off AND staying in first place for the entire time.
