I think this was a great crossover episode. The reason why Pearl was overreacting so much in this episode I think was since this is a non-cannon episode, they wanted Pearl to act as crazy as possible or something. Also, when Uncle Grandpa shoots a cannon at the ship, and Lars and Sadie is revealed to be on the ship sinking, is a reference to people shipping Lars and Sadie, and the creators saying "their ship has sunk," meaning they may not be anymore than just friends.
This is one of those Steven Universe episodes that just stays with you even years down the line, man The emotional stakes ramp up to an insane degree here, we get to see on-screen death (!) of a character, Steven discovering a darker side of the Gems and needing to oppose them *and* unlocking his powers as a result of said character growth! It's truly stunning.
Yeah there was a lot of hate towards UG back in the day, since most cartoons were starting to become serialized, a random wacky show was off putting lol. But its a fine show, there were more worse shows tbh.
2:09 He sank their ship 5:45 oh heh you missed the plot-hole joke 9:30 heh reality yeah, but adding actual potential tidbits, including one I can't mention. 10:55 they were all a lil weird, but...yeah
This is not joke the episode with the most important foreshadowing in the series (spoiler alert) UG:*examine stiven's Gem* UG:You need to polish this thing at least once a year kid That is the maintenance that is given to diamonds, he knew that that was not a quartz, and that in truth it was a diamond
This is unironically one of my favorite episodes of this show despite what other people think. Also, Idk if this is 100% true, but I think this episode actually is canon because of the cannon (heh) saying “April fools” right after Uncle Grandpa said that none of this was canon. Also, I think Uncle Grandpa as a show is a bit overhated and actually kind of good, though that might be an unpopular opinion depending on who you ask lol. It mainly depends on if you’re into random humor or not, but I think Uncle Grandpa is one of very few shows to actually do random humor quite well imo.
The shield can also be used as a range weapon Literally shown in the first episode And the bubble has its own problems like depending of the terrain to move it and that its not 100 effective We already saw u can burst it with an attack
This non canon crossover threw in some foreshadowing & such. Also it’s pretty goofy Edit: 3:06 first time I heard you say fuck & shit. I don’t why I’m laughing tho
I'm going to be real honest with you, apart from having to let you know that today was leap day 2024, let me tell you that when I first saw this episode, I think back in 2016, I had my myself imaging a headcanon where Ben the Tank Engine Twin from Thomas & Friends was jealous about the Steven and Uncle Grandpa crossover, or was humiliated by the crossover anyway, I think because at that time, I was such a die-hard Thomas & Friends fan and I quite frankly was not that into Uncle Grandpa (even though that cartoon from 2013 did had some gags that I did like, like the "Ule Gapa" gag for example), now that I look back remembering and explaining how my childhood was back then, that headcanon I had back then in earlier years is kinda weird considering that feels like a crossover stacked on top of another one, not to mention that Ben was kinda out of character in there considering that in Thomas & Friends, he is mostly with Bill and they're Sodor's most mischievous saddle tank engine twins, who have great fun in teasing and playing jokes on other engines of the railway, and who have their arguments among themselves and can squabble with one another, my childhood sure was a wild interesting experience, am i right? and it's kinda like one of the country club security guards from Regular Show would say: I always let my imagination get the best of me Anyways, Happy Leap Day 2024 to you.
Wait, This is from the Season 2 right?! Do you decide to do it now and later the End? Or is a mistake from the page u are watching the show? Just be careful, the end of season 1 is a very good, so try to not get spoilers
Nah, the episodes got shuffled around when they aired as part of the first Stevenbomb. He’s just going by the intended order from the showrunners rather than the airing order that the streaming services use.
Steven: He’s not a stranger, he’s Uncle Grandpa.
Amethyst: Uncle Grandpa?
Pearl: So that would make him Greg’s brother…and father?
Garnet: “that would explain a lot” HKFIFDJJSIS

That list of CN characters that Uncle Grandpa had to check off, it is confirmed that the CN cinematic universe is real 0_0
Yeah, it's called CN City.
Fiona and Cake confirmed it
That's been confirmed for nearly 30 years.
@@Mr_Freds_Studio Not even close. It's been a confirmed thing since before most of you were probably born.
@@dragonix8527 Yup, true.
Uncle Granpa, the sole survivor of HBO purge. Disrespect will not be tolerated
Too powerful to be erased
Say Uncle officially isn't canon, but the story does reference Steven's powers, so it's really at least semi-canon.
well from this episode on steven can summon his shield on command sooooo
I think it’s a dream Steven had
and it also reveals the biggest spoiler unintentionally and it's so hidden too lok
Y'know is kinda funny how this non canon ep has foreshadowing
If you know you know 😏
The episode itself isn't Canon, but i does have useful information about Steven's Powers.
I actually waited for an Uncle Grandpa and Clarence Crossover back then when Both Clarence and Uncle grandpa aired on TV. They never did a crossover.
To be honest me too
Quite sad actually. I think it was because it ended up being on Nickelodeon, which is outside the boundaries of the CN Megaverse.
@@KyuuDesperation wait what?
@@thedotgiver2820 To be honest me too
@@KyuuDesperation ?
Even though it’s not canon, this is definitely a rare Cartoon Network crossover.

I think this episode is semi canon for reasons that i can't say right now.
Steven learned how to summon his weapon because of uncle grandfather
@@Muquinha0112 there is other one. But it is a major spoiler
@@lich848I now what you mean haha
Love this episode, (even if my sister's hate it) I loved uncle grandpa a lot
Same here (my mom and sister feel the exact same way bro)
Same.

Damn I felt rick rolled, I didnt realize this episode was next lmao 😂
But it is a fun episode

10:55 they were all a lil weird, but...yeah
As Uncle Grandpa once said, sometimes you have to embrace the weird

3:32 The shield is stronger than the bubble, that's why you'd want to use it.
2:08 "OuR SHiP!" If you know you know

U should listen the complete ending song at the end of the season! Please
okay
I’m pretty sure you can listen to it at the end of___ season 3? I think
Yeah season 3 I just checked

This is an episode of Steven Universe
We can see that
Thank God this was an April Fools joke! 😂
This non canon crossover threw in some foreshadowing & such. Also it’s pretty goofy

uncle grandpa would destroy bugs bunny in a fight
Mr Gus is a dinosaur
Great reaction!
This episode is funner then I remember!
Imo theres no reason for this episode not to be canon
i love uncle grandpa i use to watch that alot 😊
Amethyst ate him 💀
Uncle grandpa is too weird for me as well 😂💀 But this episode is awesome 😎 I only laughed at Amythest eating Pizza Steve

Wikipedia has become my friend
The reason I don’t watch uncle grandpa is the same reason I don’t watch Rick & Morty. Regardless I still really liked the episode regardless
11:20 they were all cn characters.
You got five episodes left.
So are you gonna post a reaction to the finale of season one since you just watched season two episode one
i always thought this episode was really funny but only because it’s the only episode like it
oh no
I ship Lion and Tiger
Can we skip this episode? It's 100% sh*t.
