I haven't watched past the Billy Lich episode. I know she is half demon, but she also has bite marks on her neck. Did this Marcelin just not get bitten? Do vampires just not exist in this version of events?
Isn't the multiverse like different? Like this is an alternate timeline, I am sure prismo said so. Plus when the enchiridion showed the map of the multiverse, so there is a distinction

It's wild how fast they touched on the Simon/Marcy plotline again after the connection is revealed in "I Remember You" (or at least one alternate universe's equivalent). "The Lich", "Finn the Human", and "Jake the Dog" are essentially a three part episode separated by a couple of weeks at premiere. It was less than a month between learning they had some connection and learning that an alternate Simon sacrificed himself with her guarding him. It's wild.
I'm just thinking back to the first time he watched Adventure Time and I was thinking to myself, "You're just gonna fall in love with Ice King." And here we are. 😊
My absolute favorite thing about Finn's wish that "The Lich never even ever existed" is that it shows the reality of the same sorts of what-if questions. People like to ask "What if this common and useful thing was never invented?" and the most realistic answer is just "Then it would just be invented now instead." Finn didn't wish that the Lich *couldn't* ever exist; he just wished it never *did* exist, which immediately opens the door of possibility for the Lich to be incarnated in a magicless world a millenia later than scheduled, because that avenue of fate wasn't closed off.
what's more Finn wish doesn't exclude the entity he has come to know as the lich to appear in another form yes he wished that the lich didn't exist, but that can't stop a similar entity from appearing, just not in the exact same way as the Lich he knows

What I love about Nux reacting to this series, and the meme that he prewatches. Is the fact that he calls so much shit that makes it seem like he prewatches, but the more he gets engrossed into the series. He is right, but sort of right, He catches stuff but this series does such a good job at story telling, character development and subverting expectation that it proves he doesnt prewatch. As someone who genually hyperfixiated on this series and had friends who enjoyed the series but eventually gave it up. It means a lot to me honestly. I am so excited to see his reaction and over overanalyzation of the show. If he ends up not watching the enire thing I understand. But for 99% of the seriess it hit and ended on a high note. I am so excited for this marathon.
if i remember, marcaline wasnt always a vampire until she broke away from simon. so because she didnt do that this timeline she ended up never staying young. but i remember nux wouldn't know that until lateer in the show
11:05, They do answer this in later season, but I’m gonna comment it here a couple lines down to hide spoilers. Marceline’s appearance isn’t because she is a vampire, she was born that way. She wiped out the vampires but ended up being turned into a vampire in the process AFTER the mushroom war. If the war didn’t happen she didn’t become a vampire. She’s still the daughter of basically satan so that’s why she probably lived that long.

I feel like its the opposite. Before the war and on the human islands they dont have noses. But in this timeline they do. Im guessing they evolved the prominent noses some time after the war in this timeline during simons ice age

It no doubt means they just have bigger noses, they probably got those big noses to survive in the winter and the wild. Also considering there'd probably be a lot of carbon dioxide build-up.
[SPOILERS For Season 6] Well, his essence has existed since before the nothingness before time, was introduced to the planet by the Green Catalyst Comet (the one Evergreen tried to destroy), and the bomb either harnessed the energy directly, or it activated the dormant energy around it. But other than that, yes, the physical form of the Lich was, indeed, created in the bomb's aftermath.

if i remember, marcaline wasnt always a vampire until she broke away from simon. so because she didnt do that this timeline she ended up never staying young. but i remember nux wouldn't know that until lateer in the show

Marceline’s appearance isn’t because she is a vampire, she was born that way. She wiped out the vampires but ended up being turned into a vampire in the process AFTER the mushroom war. If the war didn’t happen she didn’t become a vampire. She’s still the daughter of basically satan so that’s why she probably lived that long.

I feel like its the opposite. Before the war and on the human islands they dont have noses. But in this timeline they do. Im guessing they evolved the prominent noses some time after the war in this timeline during simons ice age

It no doubt means they just have bigger noses, they probably got those big noses to survive in the winter and the wild. Also considering there'd probably be a lot of carbon dioxide build-up.

Well, his essence has existed since before the nothingness before time, was introduced to the planet by the Green Catalyst Comet (the one Evergreen tried to destroy), and the bomb either harnessed the energy directly, or it activated the dormant energy around it. But other than that, yes, the physical form of the Lich was, indeed, created in the bomb's aftermath.

Considering he started his journey like beginning of thus year or last year and he's only around season 4 shows he's taking his time. 1 reaction a week is definitely too long. We probably have several months to go anyways. It will end eventual. It's better to enjoy it

One can argue, especially since this is adventure time and he can wish any object he wants into existence in his room, that the red beam beamed into his head was from the computer he used to literally type up the universe they’re from. Especially since we’ve never ever seen HIMSELF shoot red beams
