  • Hello everyone and welcome to the channel!
In this video I will be carrying out a replacement of the original rubber brake hoses on this 21 year old CBR600 and replacing them with life-time warrantied items from HEL performance in the form of a set of Stainless steel braided hoses which are sleeved in a rather fetching orange hue to compliment the colouration of the bikes bodywork!

Excellent in-depth instruction, thank you Kev. About to do the exact same job on my F4i though I've gone for the over the mudguard option on the front lines.
I'm planning on reverse bleeding the lines initially to re-introduce brake fluid and then bleeding as normal if needed. Great tip on using vinyl gloves and tape to catch any drips from the old banjo bolts. 👍

Great guide! Doing my F4i this weekend and was pondering how to attach the lines - ordered some P clips but having watched your guide they're probably not needed :)
    Thanks.

I did the exact same operation with HEL lines on my ‘01 zx9 with the exception that I used a double banjo at the front master that had a bleed nipple on it. It has made the exercise of ensuring a perfectly bled system much easier before track days and also the initial bleed was much easier as well.

Hi what torque settings are you using for the banjo bolts
