  • A couple weeks ago I went to the range with Ethan from‪@StandingStoneKennels‬. He's never shot a rifle past about 200 yards and today I put him behind the 33xc and the Cheytac to take some shots at the mile plate. While we were at the mile platform, I took a couple shots at the Dinty Moore beef stew can. Enjoy your lunch!

    Check out 16:58, the downrange GoPro picked up the bullet in flight. Look just over the steel plate.

    Yes you hit 1/2 inch below the can on the post but its still an amazing shot. Well done. I'm jealous.

      Thank you! The can is actually larger than the post though, and it dented the rim of the can, it hit the can first then hit the post, then went up through the bottom of the can.

    Can you give me your type of powder your using and powder charge rough number using the 400gr Lazer bullets? I just got a 375 Cheytac and have been working up a load just feel like I’m pretty light charge considering there only going 2700fps any info you share will be much appreciated!

    • @RyanCheneyELR
      @RyanCheneyELR  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I run H50bmg, aprox 139 grains (ive run between 136.5-140 depending on where the barrel was in its lifespan, to keep them at 3030 fps. The barrel sped up at about 80 shots then again at about 150, and I dropped the charge then it plateau'd for 350 shots or so, then it started to slow so I had to add powder back.

    • @RyanCheneyELR
      @RyanCheneyELR  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      technically, the can was larger than the pole, and there is a dent in the bottom rim of the can, just a tiny dent where it hit maybe .030" of the can first, then hit the post then blew out the bottom of the can

    1st there is long range then extreme long range then ultra long range for ulr there is night force atacr 5-25x56f1 with 120moa Elevation, then vortex razor gen 3hd 6-36x56 same 120 moa then element titan 5-25x56 has 90 moa Elevation but there is Chinese secozoom Ed 4-50x75 with 60moa in it so that is so confusing
    Plus how exactly to find 120 moa scopes on a single platform so I can buy the least priced
    plus there r adjustable scope bases like ivey scope base so how can 120moa b achieved using a 90moa or 60moa scope with ivey scope base kindly refer to a channel or explain or make a video please

    • @RyanCheneyELR
      @RyanCheneyELR  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      ELR and ULR are the same thing. ELR is the furthest distances you can find in competition. Don’t mess with Chinese scopes. Buy once cry once. I run Atacr 7-35 mil c which has 36 mils of internal adjustment.

      @@AsifKhan-xs2qi Im not a fan of adjustable scope bases, thats just something that will end up loosening up and having issues down the road. Im not familiar with the Element Titan, Im guessing based on the price that its Chinese. All the top shooters run Nightforce or Tangent Theta in ELR.
