The instructions at 2:05 and 2:22 could be better. At 2:05, they don't show or explain that the hooks should be spread evenly under the pad and hanging out each side. At 2:22, It shows both anchor hooks dangling, but only shows the installer connecting one hook to the anchor in the seat. The clue is that the narrator says 'hooks' (plural). Make sure you're hooking both hooks to the anchors on either side of the car seat. I know if you have a lot of experience with child car seats that it may seem obvious, but for someone doing it for the first time this could be confusing.
@@YoMama9021 It is a flawed 'quick run-through'. If you're going to put up a video showing you how to do it, then do it correctly, and don't leave out any obvious steps. Plus, not everyone will always have the manual. If you use this for one child, put it away, and then have another child years later, there might be a good chance the manual is lost. In fact, I would advise ALL manufacturers of ANY type that put up video guides to ALWAYS do them under the assumption that the video is the only source of instructions that someone has. That will guarantee a quality video that will improve the relationship to their customers. And lastly, my comments were there to IMPROVE the video, not to specifically criticize it.
Yes! First time Mom here. Changed my daughter seat from a infant seat to this one. I was lost at that specific point, then I ran across your comment. Thank you!!!
None of these videos discuss if it is ok if the carseat moves front to back when rear facing. I tighten mine as tight as possible and it still moves a lot front to back which concerns me.
Not mentioned in the video but is in the booklet is you may need a rolled up blanket under it for rear facing to get the correct angle. Took us 20 minutes to find that out....this car seat is janky. And it still moves forward and back with no instruction to fix that. Wtf
I was hesitant to purchase an open box carseat but it came in excellent condition and saved $35. Box was damaged as stated before I purchased it, but the th-cam.com/users/postUgkxIxQe7nPH74g_xtI5NgiE9-zpGNkfgovw car seat looks brand new and I don't think it was ever used. I will update of course if I have any issues with this carseat but I don't think I will. Also it is surprisingly lightweight, the handle feels secure unlike my previous EvenFlo that was gifted to us. Love it !
This is the worst engineered baby seat. It is difficult to install, adjust, and make secure. It puts baby in an uncomfortable position. It has a big buckle between the legs to rub them raw.
Could someone please contact me let me know if this is good for newborns to come home in I have the headrest I just wanted to know if it's safe for a newborn
I got this as a gift for my newborn, and have tried to install it with the instructions manual like 5 times, in my opinion, it doesn't seem safe and it's complicated if you don't have the right car for it. Thankfully I had another carseat that was safer and easier. I wouldn't go with cosco. Their products just don't seem safe overall.

Jack Crow the instructional manual is your best bet. This is a quick run through.

Is this really all that needs to be done for it to be safety installed?

The same here. How did you solve it?

If you don't have the bars under your seat that the bottom anchors latch to is that okay?
nikbilmore then you just install with the seatbelt. It’s a choice, you don’t use both
How to install the Cosco car seat. Step 1: Get a degree in rocket science.
There is another strap on my car seat and idk what it’s for
If it's the one that is on the back upper side it's for front facing child

El mío no trajo instrucciones
Cups will not click in place!

The worst car seat. Not worth it at all. Unsafe in rear facing mode
