Thank you for this video. I battled with the car seat for 20 min before figuring out that on this car seat I need to secure the handle in the forward position to make it steady. It was unsteady otherwise, if pushed from behind it would topple over. It did not say so in the instructions. You just confirmed I did the right thing.

This absolutely replaces the instructions for the car seat with a seat belt! The instructions do no indicate this and are terrible! This was so informative and helpful! We use the lock in base daily in our cars but when we travel, we don't take the base and only use the seat belt. Thank you so much for this. Everyone should see this!

Everyone should be shown how to safely install whatever car seat they buy. These videos are amazingly helpful. I heard most belted infant carseats are fitted incorrectly and so did a lot of research before using ours and I'm so glad I did because I didn't make this mistake! The manuals and guides they provide are often awful and really not clearly designed.

I'm trying to prepare as best as I can. My car is from late 2004 so I'm guessing it doesn't have ISOFIX fittings (I'll check just in case) so thought it would be a good idea to start learning this stuff in case I can't get another car in good time. Very infomative video and installing with a seat belt doesn't seem as daunting now! Thank you :)

Very sturdy in comparison to other strollers that we had. I get a lot of compliments for it. My baby loves being in the bassinet, The th-cam.com/users/postUgkx4qZutfp1y5CaTUcMTuFPbARE5u-8XLiE stroller comfortable. I like the rain cover and the white net that comes with it. I use the rain cover just to cover the car seat when it rains. If your front wheels don't turn well, make sure you lubricate.

As soon to be parents, when we bought the car seat, we fastened it in the exact wrong way you showed, and we saw that it's wrong somehow, as it is wobbly, but can't figure out the correct way. Thanks to you now we know.

Thanks for the video and was very informative of how many different configurations there are. I'm from Australia and I had issues installing our baby capsule. For example our britax baby capsule does not Ankor properly in the seat and wobbles side to side. When emailing the manufacturer they advised to buy an additional iso fix mount for the baby chair. Overall these car seats are unsafe and shouldn't be sold as they aren't universal. One slip up on the road and could be fatal.
All belt fitted car seats are classed as universal. Universal means that they are compatible with most cars, but there will occassionally be one where a certain seat is not compatible. To say that they are all unsafe and should not be sold is not true. You just need to make sure that the one that you buy fits your car properly, and that it is fitted correctly.
@@RearFacingToddlersI am from Australia too. From my knowledge, it is important that car seats must have an additional top tether that holds the infant seat by looping around it. This is missing in this video.

I will just say that it is very important to also read the manual. The belt routing will be the same as in this video, but the manual also contains other information, such as what position the carry handle should be in and when to remove the inserts.
