I love potatoes! Very recently, I made this recipe from an old video of yours. In that video you didn't layer the cheeses and cut the potatoes by hand. Only cheese you used: Gruyere.

I LOVE THIS DISH! It also is really good if you boil the sliced potatoes in the cream mixture, and then bake it. The flavor seeps into the potatoes even more.

This is one of my favorite things to make. Takes forever but well worth it! I always make a massive dish of this so it will last a few days so i feel like its worth the time it takes. I need to try it with sage tho. I never put sage in mine.

Love it! The only thing I do differently is I start with sliced onions on the bottom so the potatoes don't stick and layer onions, potatoes and cheese (pepper of course) and then top with cheese and sauce. Heck, sometimes without the sauce and it's still devine.
Can you make this ahead of time? Like for a thanksgiving side? Looks sooo yummy!
