Thanks..interesting feedback on price...and yes...a great watch. Thanks for watching and posting.
Thanks for the feedback...yup....I could do with a new watch too! Will certainly post more as time allows.
I own this very same yellow BFK. Keeps great time. I put it on about twice a week, and after several hours the charge goes from 20 secs to 30 secs. Not much of a problem maintaining a battery charge as long as you wear it every few days or even longer.
These are extremely accurate watches. mine is 8 months old. I set it from an Atomic clock and its only 30 sec fast!! Incredible! !
I own the identical watch, but on the original Seiko stainless steel bracelet. It's been my daily beater for nearly 20 years and has never missed a beat. I believe the yellow dial is quite rare and sought-after now. Mine has never gained more than eight seconds between corrections changing from GMT to BST so I only reset it twice a year. I bought it in a random shop in Singapore on a whim to replace a Rolex as a work watch and it has proved so far superior that I sold my Rolex and don't miss it at all. It's also the only watch I still dive with. It will never be for sale unless I'm literally starving and I'll probably die wearing it.
If you value accuracy and reliability over brand name, buy a 5M62, that's my two cents .
@sunburnt01 Aaah...so you suffer the same price issues we have here in South Africa. Thanks for your comments and watching.
just to clarify, when checking the power, the second hand went half way around the dial from WHERE he started it. That's full reserve and NOT 4 months. Not sure why he pointed at 3/4 of the way round.
Very nice yellow dial. Mine is black
