- The family of a man whose body was used by the notorious rapist and murderer Thabo Bester to escape from prison has demanded to know how their son died. Bester managed to break out of prison last year after faking his own death by setting fire to his cell.
A body was found inside, which was initially believed to be Bester's but it has now been identified as belonging to Katlego Bereng Mpholo.

After seeing this DR Nandipha deserve to rot in prison, she crossed the line when she claimed the bodies of people she doesn't know. Every family deserves closure how do you get it if your loved one dissappeared/taken from the mortuary by a total stranger.

This is incredibly sad. An innocent soul who never caused any harm was burnt so inhumanely in a prison and having to see his mum and granny so heartbroken is extremely sorrowful

The memory of this late young man’s his family should never be forgotten. Katlego was a son, a brother, a grandson, a father and a friend. Evil people did not think his life counted and ended his life so violently and painfully. What evil is that. Let’s not forget the victims of Bester and Magudumana’s selfishness and evil crimes.
If Nandipha gets bail, i wonder how this family will feel? She went there and swear under oath by writing an affidavit stating that it was her customary law husband that was burnt beyond recognition. She never took a little moment to think about his family. SABC report that DNA samples of other families were also taken to identify the body. The forensic autopsy report said the person burned in the prison cell had a head injury ,meaning he was killed by someone . This detail must not be neglected.
The family's lawyers must get hold that report to use as part of their Court case argument .

Bester personifies so many things that have collapsed in our country. Our prison and police systems failed. Government failed. I wonder how Nandipha takes these women's tears. I think some mortuary or hospital bosses keep(hide) certain number of bodies aside to resale body parts dealers. They even give them new identities by forging death certificates and new identities.
