We have an extradition treaty with Tanzania, but not United Arab Emirates (the country where the city of Dubai is in).
The Gupta brothers are very careful to not enter any countries that have extradition treaties with South Africa. Hence their new move to Vanatu and not a place like UK or USA.
No one tried with the Guptas.... Regardless of extradition treaties and the like.... Did anyone try to pursue any alternative legal remedies..... The answer is No... Ronald Lamola tried to get the UAE authorities to hand over the Guptas but UAE at the last moment changed their minds about sending them to SA. Why did Dr Phasy give her passport to Nandipha (her friend) and Bester (a prison escapee) to facilitate a trip to the USA? And yet, she didn't see any need to alert the police of Thabo Bester's whereabouts? Dr Phashy should be locked up as well.

I’d just think they slightly look alike but otherwise they are different people and it’s not the same guy. I’m sure that’s the tactic he used in Pashy. Nawe if they asked you you’d just say “a lot of people mistake us for the same person”.
