I watched a retirement liberty run once with a little chestnut gelding that had carried his little girl from 9 to 18 years, faithfully and with immense success. He even carried her at Scottsdale a couple of times! She took his tack off for the last time in his career and there wasn't a dry eye in the place as he circled the arena! Finally it was time, he slowed, she put on his halter and walked him out to thunderous applause! It was a wonderful sight to behold.
Thanks and I am glad you liked it! I don't know if you have subscribed to my channel to get notifications of new videos, but I have a video of the Liberty Run class coming out this Saturday morning, March 2. This will be from the latest Scottsdale show in 2024 that ended a few days ago. The new video will show all five entries into the championship class.
Really enjoyed the winner... seems like his owner is Polish with that last name and the horse also was nice and thick so guessing he might be Polish too! Have to look him up! Thanks for posting these enjoyable videos! I never knew that you could compete by letting your horse run the arena and win somthing at the biggest Arabian show in the World...lolz--
@@MagnificentHorses it would be interesting to meet people here that know about the pedigree and can tell us more about strains and how they work. I had a pure Polish gelding that was my partner. He was Kuhalian Hamdani but it's been 20 years or more since I learned how to figure it out 😉
@@PetPrepRadioShow I get a lot of comments on this channel that are very educational but most of them do not tell about the background of a particular horse. I'll try to give that info whenever I can. Usually in halter classes I at least know the sire and the dam. So I'll start adding that into the narration. Thanks for mentioning it!
@@MagnificentHorses thank you for the compliments and I'm happy to be a new subscriber to your channel! Keep doing a great job and thanks for doing what you do! We all love the horses 🐎😍
No, that is actually incorrect. Arabian tails don't need to be docked. I've heard they do that with Tennessee walkers but it's unnecessary with Arabians.
@@MagnificentHorses Interesting,as I've seen it done. Arab tails still have the small curve at the end of their tails and it is usually removed. Im old,so maybe they no longer remove them,but it sure looks like it. :}
This show doesn’t respect the horse as a creature of this planet. They come in the arena upset and full of fear. Their only thought is flight for his life. For the pleasure and amusement of the crowd. Presented as rouged mannequins. The goal to make much money. A very questionable way to see horses and not dignified of horsemen of the 21t century. Your mentality get stuck in the early 20t century.
I like how much you are concerned for the horses. But I can tell you that they are some of the most pampered animals on the planet and their owners love them dearly. I understand how you might think they are in such fear when they go into that arena, but they grew up with that And know what's going on. There are many signs from the horses to show that they are not being terrorized.
@@thefarmersdaughter8235 exactly! All these people criticizing it as cruel are simply projecting onto the horse how they think it should feel rather than seeing what signs the horse is showing. I've commented many times about all the different signals this horse gives to show that he is not terrified like so many people want to think he is.
@@MagnificentHorses I have owned horses my whole life. Currently three, one is an Arab cross. He is almost 20 now and has been a wonderful horse. Most of these people probably have never owned a horse much less fed, wormed, shod, trailered, pastured. Etc. They talk in platitudes. Sadly, many people listen to them. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful arabian, always had them, nothing else compares
Yes, Arabian Horses are very special! They're smart, beautiful, and athletic!
I agree!!
The beautiful grey🤍 first contender and the winner ❣are my favorites
Nice!
I picked the winner and I haven't been to an Arabian horse show since the 90s, wow.
Good job! I guess it's kind of like riding a bike, huh?😄

Wow, what a cool story! Thanks for sharing.
Enrique is an extremely muscular looking stallion. Winner Fire and Goldd. Good. Enrique was my favorite. These horses resemble seahorses.
I never thought of that but they do kind of look like seahorses!
In my opinion, no horse surpasses the beauty of an Arabian.
I think a lot of people share that opinion!
How do you pick? They are all so beautiful!
Yeah, I know what you mean!
My favorite class, Liberty. Letting a horse be a horse and showing off their natural beauty with NO PAIN BIT and no tack! Nothing compares.

@@MagnificentHorses Thank you! I will definitely check that out.
My fav. too! The shortest and fattest one of them! But the best one!
Very good!
I Thought he was compact in his build.
Great choice ... He was mine also!
Good job… You obviously saw something in him that the judges liked as well!

Rocked my Socks seems he was trained to be a Country English Pleasure horse the way he moves! Anyone get that too?
I'm not in the know enough about that to be able to tell just by watching him. Anyone else?

Iiked the first one, not so mature as Enrique, but ran like the wind, greys are so like horses in Fairy Tales. Awe ❤❤
Thanks and yeah, when I go to that show, every horse there looks like it's out of a fairy tale!
No. 5
He definitely looks fantastic!
I picked the winner too.
Yay! That's usually hard to do and this one was no exception. Good job!
The high tail set you mention is because his tail has been docked. Cut off so that it doesnt have a natural curve but rather goes straight up.

@@MagnificentHorses Do u play Red Red Redemption? And thank u for your understanding
@@mrpaTates326 what does that have to do with this video?
@@MagnificentHorses Just a question👍
No I liked the first and last one
Thanks for the comment. Between those two is there one you could pick over the other one?
@@MagnificentHorses I think actually liked the first one better.
@@jogger609 I think I liked that one slightly better too. But it’s a tough choice when you have five such amazing stallions to pick from.
Where are all the people at?
Thos is more like the Classic, strong Arabian. .
not the Barbie Doll Seahorses you see these days..!
Yeah, he is definitely the classic strong type!
The Arabian hores is the best
Yes, they are amazing!
What was the shiny goop on Fire And Goldd's eyelids? It looks terrible~!
They put oil on the horses in those spots to make them look better. Not everyone likes it but it's standard procedure.
Chestnut looks a fake tail
A lot of the horses there look like they have fake tails because they're so long, but the Scottsdale show does not allow fake tails.
