      That chapter is now closed for us but Forster was a beautiful place to bring up our children. :)

    Love Forster, the first holiday I had with my husband when we were dating. Been there many times since, taken our kids there too.

      Same! Our first holiday together was to Forster. Then we moved there while the kids were in school. Beautiful place - so glad you've experienced it too! 😍💕

    What an awesome clip. I had no idea how big and pretty Forster was. No wonder you loved it there when your children were little. Did you find the 1 kilo doughnuts 😊❤. Deb, your voice has a beautiful, gentle melody to it. It's a very lovely, calm voice.

      1kg doughnuts? 😂😂 No, never heard of such a thing. Not a fan though so wouldn't have looked for them. However Forster Keys bakery has awesome pies! 😜 Thanks for the compliment although I am sure Al disagrees hahaha

    Stunning place and great filming. Thanks for sharing such a humble and honest video. Well done hope Al is doing great after the operation. I found you first in the Bali videos as that is our favourite place to visit. Just getting into drone filming, I used to just take photos before.🥰

      Thank you 😍 Al is going really well now and is getting ready for a camping weekend as I type this. Keep a look out for some more Bali videos in about a months time. 💕 I'm sure you will love playing with the drone, it has really taken our editing to the next level. I film so much now that I forget to take still pics, so am going to get back into photography again. 😜 Thank for watching!

    Forster is definitely one of the nicest beachside towns in Australia, probably top 3 between Newcastle and the Gold Coast. I live in the Tweed hinterland and can say that the Gold Coast holds no appeal for me except for Coolangatta, which always tricks me into thinking I'm a kid on holiday. But saying that, you are a bit older than me and appreciate the extra amenities the Gold Coast has to offer.

      Yes I agree with the beaches and am definitely looking forward to checking out more of them - especially if we head over to WA for a little look around. Hear it is amazing there! How good is it feeling like you're on holidays when entering a place - that's what Forster does to me! Coolangatta is amazing too! Thanks for being part of our YT journey. 😍👍

    hi why did you guys leave forster?

    • @alandeb
      @alandeb  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      We wanted more than what Forster offered. Every time we travelled we had to drive to Sydney (3.5 hrs) or Brisbane (8hrs). We moved to the Gold Coast because it had everything we were looking for; beaches, entertainment, restaurants, a cruise port and two airports. Now when we travel we can be home again within the hour and it makes a huge difference to us. :)

      We lived in Forster for over 10 years and loved it. If you’re looking for beaches, boating and fishing you’ll love it! Holiday season is hectic with all the tourists but the down seasons are relaxing. If your opening a business beware that you don’t over capitalise as money 💰 is usually only made 12 weeks of the year during holiday periods. Hence the large amount of empty shop fronts. Enjoy! 💕
