Here’s a hack for using those bbq’s, put a piece of baking paper down on the plate first (just put a touch of oil down first). It’s so much cleaner and after you’ve finished cooking, you throw the paper out to save cleaning up. Forster is a lovely place, most of my family come from all around there.
@@eucalyptdesignsTowns have memories and histories. Sounds like a lovely place you were at ma'am, your videos are getting Better and Better!!! MAN I need starlink so bad, I bought premiere pro but got no laptop to run it but me UPLOADS!!!!! Andre
So good to hear someone else doing house-sitting in between traveling. It really is a brilliant addition to traveling oz and living on the he edge of society
Back in the 1970s my family travelled around the country for a few years in a caravan. I was a child at the time. Even now, in my 50s I remember how much I loved Forster. It has stayed with me all these years. Really enjoyed re-visiting it through your video today. Someone else has already mentioned that silk is a good warming fabric if you want a natural alternative but the Oodie is working out, and was a gift so enjoy it. Inspiring as always.
Oh I love this ❤ I actually visited Forster with my family too when I was a child in the 80s, I don't remember much of the place but it was a memorable time with the family 🤗 Thank you as always for watching 🙏☺
Great video 🎉❤ beautiful scenery, and awesome video shots of it. I haven't had steak for a long while either, but you definitely cooked it how I like it, I am going to have to get me a steak next shop. I love love love your tidy van, and I pray safe adventure fill travelling and abundance in every aspect of your life 🙌🙏💚💖 Stay beautiful ⭐️
I am preparing myself for the big lap and permanent life on the road. My van is not as stealthy as yours Christie but enjoying quick weekend trips on the Yorke Peninsula where I live. At Balgowan for the last two nights and heading back to Moonta for a mosaic workshop. Looking forward to your next video! Karina
@ def. My ex father in law use to have a van up there for the 27 years I was apart of the family so it was actually nice for my daughter also to be up there with her young family. But the CP has changed a lot still a nice place to stay. X
Yes to sealing steak lol nothing says your Aussie more than bbq steak sanga haha. I am REALLY looking forward to exploring Western Australia with you next year :) Its on my bucket list so your journey will be inspiring! Thank you for all you do.
Really enjoy your videos, I find them so relaxing. I’m an Aussie living in the UK and my British husband and I are seriously considering moving back to Oz late 2025/early 2026. I want to go back to Perth but not sure what area I’d want to live in so I’m thinking about shipping over my converted campervan and just living in that and mooching around whilst I find us a place to live. Will be very interested to see your WA vanlife videos! Safe travels Christie 😊
Oh how amazing, yes come back and enjoy our sunny weather and amazing beaches again 😅 Honestly WA is such a great place to live in a camper, so many beautiful spots to pull up! Thanks so much for following along 🙏🤗
@@eucalyptdesigns It’s so cold and grey over here right now, I’m SO homesick after 11 years away 😥I’m happy to sell up here but don’t want to rush into buying anything. My Irish parents took us on many vanlife trips as kids around Australia (cos we were poor lol!😂) and I would love to relive those days again! Is it ok to park up anywhere in WA? I’m always very clean and respectful of the places I stay. It’s very easy in Europe tbh but in the UK it’s a little more difficult.
@@the_bohemian_drifter I bet you are! My mood is so subject to the sun being out 😎 haha. Oh yes so many places to park up during the day, the rangers will ping you if you stay in car parks overnight though, better to stealth in the streets for a restful nights sleep 😉
Great video. Forster is a beautiful area. Will you be coming down through Newcastle or the Central Coast? I’m near Newcastle now but will be in my van on the Southern side of the Central Coast for the weekend. I’d love to catch up & say hi if you’re coming through this way. I love that gluten free tiger loaf, it’s one of the nicest gluten free breads I’ve had. I have coeliac disease so I’m gluten free & good bread used to be so hard to find but I’m so glad there’s so many great options now. Looking forward to seeing where you end up next!
Thanks so much 🙏 I'm actually already down in Victoria, my videos are always a few weeks behind ☺ That tiger bread was amazing for gluten free!! Thank you for following along the journey!
Would you believe NSW people say Foster, they don't pronounce the r that is in Forster, very strange, why does it have the middle r if they're not going to pronounce it.
How you doing girl , that bloody sandwich looked really tasty, always hungry after watching your videos, searing or sealing the steak is basically the same , ironically silk is a material than tends to keep one warm might have something to do with the closeness of the threads , that place you was in looked nice , until the next time take care you = me .
ohhhhh my godddddddddddddddd that hack keeping blankets and hoodies in your pillow case is SOOOOO CLEVER!!!!!!!!
Hahaha I hope this helps!! Thanks so much for watching 🤗

Hi Christie, a functioning, clean and not vandalized public grill? Unthinkable in Germany! Many Regards, Ralf

Go to Tasmania when you can be there for a full summer. My thinking
I think I'm inclined to agree with you, it's such a gorgeous place I want to give it the time it deserves 🤗
