I love New zealand and Auckland so beautiful city.
😍🙏🏼❤️ it is 😉
Thanks for visiting. There’s a lot of construction happening at the moment to connect all the various precincts of the city and help alleviate the transport issues. Namely the City Rail Link, which is the city centre underground rail currently under construction. Will be a game changer for Auckland once completed in 2026.
Glad you got a glimpse into what’s on offer during your short stay.
There’s a reason however why Auckland is New Zealand’s largest city, it’s well connected to nature (beaches, ranges, islands etc.). But at the same time it has the most international and local offerings in terms of food, business and entertainment.
In saying that, the local habit of Aucklanders is that most people don’t visit the city during the weekend, they tend to stay in the outer metro centres of the city, which is why it’s less busy.
But thanks for an outside perspective of our city. Kakite anō.
Wow, thanks for taking the time to watch our video and share your thoughts 🙏🏼 it sounds like there’s some exciting stuff in the world for Auckland! We will have to do a return visit sometime and see some of the things we missed. Definitely want to see more of the islands, the mountains and beaches around our largest city! Thanks Brandon ❤️
One of the best Auckland travel vids I've seen. Great camera work and editing and you two are really good presenters. Have subbed.
Thanks Peter!! Great to have your support ❤️
Great video guys, we might be going to Auckland in December so this video will definitely help us to plan what we want to see. Some of that food looked amazing and also the Sky tower 😊
Awesome! Funny you guys popped up in our comments section, we were chatting with another TH-camr yesterday in a cafe in Wellington and you guys came up in conversation 😜 would love to see your take on Auckland in your cinematic style, I hope that NZ Tourism are supporting your visit too! 🙏🏼
Splendid 360 degree views from the Sky Tower, but I could not walk the glass floor or bungee jump! 😂 ❤
That glass floor certainly makes the heart beat a little faster!
@@cjexplores 🤣😆
Welcome to Auckland, New Zealand this June of 2024 to tours everywhere around this remarkable city in great joy & peace 2024❤❤❤I really LOVE watching your amazing video from Auckland, New Zealand for very first time in 2024❤❤❤
Thanks you guys for heading Auckland, New Zealand last week in June of 2024❤❤❤I really LOVE your amazing video today’s by watching it @ work in Philly 2024❤❤❤
thankyou for your video! its really honest and very helpful recommendation and advices. great taken videos too..
Thank you Ali 😊🙏🏼❤️ glad you found it useful!
Maybe you should have gone to one of the beach suburbs such as Mission Bay or Takapuna?
We did get to Takapuna, but not on a good day so we chose not to include it. The video was long enough as it is 🤣
Wow, what a beautiful video! I'm soooo impressed with your filming and editing 🤩🎉
Thank you Matt ❤️ appreciate the love on our video 😊
Great video team! Great presenting and images. You found a lot of awesome spots around our city. There's plenty more to discover of course (you can't see everything in one go :). K Road (awesome social scene) and Waiheke Island would be two other top picks. And of course, you missed the best thing to do whilst in Auckland: an electric bike tour with Power to the Pedal ;)
I respect your initial impressions/conclusions at the end. It is a great place to visit, especially in the sunshine. But to my mind, Auckland's biggest strength/appeal is as a place to live. As well as having lots of things to do and an awesome dining scene, it's a great base for exploring more of beautiful NZ.
My wife and I moved to Auckland from Scotland in 2002. We were planning to stay 2 years. Still here!
Hi Eddie 👋🏼 😊 thanks for your message. It’s a shame we missed out on the bike tour, maybe next time! There’s certainly a lot to see and do in Auckland, I bet there’s still a ton of things you haven’t done yet. It seems there are new things popping up all the time as well!
Parnell rise is nice too.
Cool thanks Andy! 😊
@@cjexplores You're very mate, hope you get the best weather during your travels.
@@cjexplores You're very welcome mate, hope you get the very best weather during your travels
@@Andy_M986 currently in Wellington and surprise surprise, it’s a bit windy 🤣
You guys should of visited Waiheke Island ❤
We did try to arrange a visit! However we just couldn’t fit it in 😭
I love new Zealand ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you Theo! ❤️❤️❤️
Congratulations to you guys to heads Auckland,New Zealand this June of 2024❤❤❤I had the same backpack that you have on your back but different color (green)❤❤❤
Thanks you guys for your new remarkable video from Auckland, New Zealand this week to shows these amazing places on the streets in great joy & peace June of 2024❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
you should have visited the stunning beach suburbs of Misson Bay , St Helier and Takapuna or travelled on the ferry to Waiheke Island which is Aucklands jewel in the crown but never the less fantastic video.
We wanted to go to Waiheke but we were a little bit too tight for time to spend a day over there.. next time for sure! We did make it up to Takapuna for a coffee as well but the weather was a bit iffy and we didn’t film it 😅
Great vid but there is lots more to do .A walk around at Takapuna & the North shore beaches , a drive out to the Bays around the harbour Mission Bay fountain and St Heliers Bay cafes ,Queen Street CIVIC (heritage)Theatre, Aotea centre, drive/walk to Auckland Memorial Museum and The Domain Park ,Cornwall Park, Parnell shops/farmers market , Western Bay Springs, MOTAT, and drive to West coast Murawai/Gannet colony and Piha black sand beaches to name but a few.
Thanks for all the tips Caroline! You must be a local 🤩
Duck Island Icecream was originally from hamilton, New Zealand. That's where the first store is.
Fun fact! We didn’t know, thank you ☺️🙏🏼
Are you guys planning to visit Wellington, New Zealand after visiting Auckland this week in great joy to tours around this remarkable city in New Zealand in June of 2024?
As a Kiwi, we love you all visiting our beautiful country. But remember folks.... We are full, so you can't stay. Sorry 😀
🤣🤣🤣 dw we are crossing the Tasman tomorrow for blue skies and brighter futures 🙈
My introduction to Auckland came through the 1992 ICC Cricket World Cup semifinal between Pakistan and New Zealand.
New Zealand set a target of 262/7, with Martin Crowe scoring 91 runs. Pakistan successfully chased the target, winning by 4 wickets with only one ball left.
Imran Khan, the captain of that victorious team, later became the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
However, he is currently in jail facing numerous false charges.
Sounds like a thrilling match!! And wow, what a life that captain has led 🤯
Best activity to do in Auckland is rent a vehicle and drive out of Auckland.
That was my advice to all my travelling friends until we spent some good time there exploring. My opinion has changed *slightly* 😅
You're welcome to stay away,we don't want negative people in Auckland.
@@Andy_M986 🙏🏼❤️
Desr cj explorer could you kindly go to Norway and make videos ❤❤ love to see you there .. because its next to Newzealand and Switzerland ❤❤❤❤
One day, for sure! But for now we are planning to visit Australia! 😊
Another great video guys ❤ I completely agree about Auckland - it's always felt like a stopover to me as well, and I get totally lost there. It does have some pretty spots, though.
Hi Trudi! Thanks for your support, certainly has some great spots but wow what a higgledy-piggledy city!!
@@cjexploresmy sister jumped off the sky tower - she shared the video, and I was such in awe of her being just able to stand there out on the platform and jump without hesitation - that's *really* high! I don't think I could even get out there! She's also 60, and I'm 47, so I feel a bit pathetic! 😂
Auckland is great, ruined by the traffic.
The traffic there is an issue, that’s for sure!
Traffic? That's Indonesia for sure
❤👍👍👍😍😍
Thanks for watching! 😊
What month is this?
This was shot in May ☺️
You hit the nail on the head and it is getting worse by the hour.
Thanks, glad we’re not the only ones!
Babe, the building wobbles.
😂 I think you’re right
The 'collapsed crater' is called a caldera and Mt Eden is dormant, not extinct.
I believe that extinct is the correct term..? 🤔
@@cjexplores OMG, a simple google search will show from multiple sources that it is dormant. I should know as I used to live at the base of Mt Eden on the north side. Doh!
@@grahamcook9289 that’s ok, thanks for the correction Graham 👏🏼
@@cjexplores For a long time it was thought that Christchurch was geologically stable and all attention was on Wellington, waiting for the big one. It was thought it could be particularly disastrous there as much of Wellington is built on reclaimed land from the harbour and reclaimed land turns to a fluid with an earthquake. In fact many building were demolished and new earthquake proof ones rose in their place, fingers crossed. And then out of nowhere Christchurch is hit by a series of disastrous earthquakes. Sooner or later, one of Auckland's dormant volcanoes will erupt gain. The smart money is on the youngest Rangitoto. You haven't had the full NZ experience until you feel a quake.
Mate, the man-bun is not a good look for someone over 30. You don't want to end up looking like Michael Bolton, do you?
...who famously had a mullet, so not sure I see the connection 😅 A gorgeous video and you're commenting on his *hair*? It's like people telling me I should cut my hair short at 50 because that's what society expects (it's never going to happen 😅) - let's all stop imposing our biases on other people ❤
Thanks for the fashion tips Graham 😅
@@trudimclaren4301 I love it when people take offence on behalf of someone else. BTW, what gender R U?
@@cjexplores No worries mate, your welcome. BTW, I'm only stating what your wife is thinking. Could save your relationship, if you had a snip. No, not down there, but up there.
@@grahamcook9289 you do realise that you can be banned from peoples channels right? Don’t make stuff up like that, it’s ridiculous, offensive and untrue. First warning for you Graham ⚠️
Did enjoy your blog until your comments at the end. Auckland is one of the best cities in the world to live and is NOT a 2 day vist you should of gone further afield
Thanks for the feedback Carl. Just as a side note this channel is for people who are interested in travelling to destinations and we base our recommendations off of that. In terms of NZ as a whole, Auckland wouldn’t be the place we recommend for people to get a fair representation of this beautiful country. We appreciate your passion and input however! Best thing is hearing from locals who love the place that they live in 🙌🏼❤️
@cjexplores fair enough, i do take your point ,i do love your blogs though, haven't warched your chch one yet,we lived there for 5 years, keep up the good work cx
Thanks Carl, we appreciate your support. Hope you enjoy our other videos too!
