Great video, super useful. Fishing that spot on the outgoing makes perfect sense with all the baitfish in the shallows that get swept out with the tide. Your videos have made me look at fishing spots in a much different way and learning how to take advantage of Navionics. Thanks again.
Thank you, glad you are finding some value in the content on this channel! My season has been pretty solid so far this year. Weather has kept me from fishing as much as I'd like but I can't complain about the season....and its just starting to heat up! Hope your season is going well!
@@FatDadFishing yeah man that's awesome. Same here. When I have been getting out, it's been good. I've avoided the skunk so far. 🤞 My biggest this year is 23" caught a few weeks ago. Hoping they stay in the back for a few more. Good luck maybe I'll see ya out there one of these trips. This video was just north of where Ive been fishing this year so maybe there's a chance! Stay safe brother
I hit the Shrewsbury river where it empties into Raritan Bay last weekend. I had several hits but wasn't able to hook up on anything. Was really just an excuse to get out on the water. Water was only 45 degrees.
I been out every weekend trying haven’t had much luck I want to head down for some was thinking this weekend looks nice I just have never kayak fish NJ yett
Its still really early for the spring migration. Once the water temps rise to around 50 degrees they'll start to move in. 55 degrees and it'll really be in full swing.
Thanks for checking out this video. Let me know in the comments if you think I missed anything in the video or misread the maps. Tight lines!
Hi Rich, There are several good looking spots on that map. Great information. Good luck, Mickey
Thanks 👍

Because I made this video for someone I can't give out the exact location. But, the method for finding spots will work anywhere in the state.
