Thanks for an extremely educational video, wish my L.I. TH-camrs would post something like this instead of fish after fish, and promoting their name brand products.
Thanks for the compliment. Send me an email with the area you like tonfish and I'll do the same thing for ya. We fish the sound, Northside, Montauk and Block quite a bit. Thanks again for watching. - JT
@@nextdriftfishing well the the crowds I saw this weekend on these spots was interesting....even had a sighting of NY boats like @Jigging Jerks making the run over. They quickly found out that it's not much different than Greenport. Keep up the great content...would love to see you do a map video of Block Island Fluke spots.
I am absolutely thankful for this video!! Always used to be south shore fishing with pops doing the old school way, this season got serious and bought myself a seadoo fish pro and have been adventuring out to north-shore areas with absolutely no luck! Now understanding the ridges and how important drop offs are after this video I hope to be put onto some fish!! Thank you so much and hope to see you out there!!
I’m in Marker 7, I had no choice and had to take the GF out late yesterday afternoon. She caught her first fluke a few minutes into first drift but when it came on the boat, spit up a whole squid and COVERED her in ink and guts I had to laugh out loud thinking KARMA 😂😂
Super helpful! I’m new to all of this and always looking for spots around that area and up to Mystic/Misquamicut. Everyone always talks about Block and Montauk. Also, how did you get that fluke icon on Navionics?? Thanks again!!
Glad you enjoyed it! We might have a map reading of the Misquamicut area soon. The fluke symbols were edited into the video. Thanks again for watching!

Great tutorial on the "spot" within the "spot" ....loving that relief shading.
Thank you!

Not many guys would post this type of video outlining spots and even that it might be a popular spot.
I won't give away all my spots like this but I really want people to learn, apply and have success. Fishing is fun! Thanks for watching Robert!
@@nextdriftfishing You could be on the right spot and if you don't have the right drift, the right presentation, etc you still might not catch them.
@@robertstorms5539 that's 100% true. That's where our other videos cover the rest!
You are doing a great job on your videos. Thanks!
Thanks Michael! Be sure to tell your friends!

I have Navionics app, how can I get it on my onboard equipment? Running a Raymond Dragonfly 7 Pro
All you need is the Navionics Platinum East chip.
Is that area suitable to fish from a a 17’ with a 40 hp ?
