If ONLY there was some way I could benefit from a very loud loophole in the US Constitution that allows prisoners to be treated as slaves!....but HOW???
That last line. Forced birth and the for-profit prison system are indeed married. (Criminalizing something only women can do, i.e., have abortions, means rendering all women criminals or potential criminals, depending on their pregnancy status. More births to unprepared/unwilling mothers = more people overall, but also more poverty, more crime, cycles of abuse and trauma that scar and hamper generations. As long as poverty and abuse self-perpetuate, society remains unstable and un-unitable against common enemies, and labor remains abundant and cheap.)
I agree, making something only women can do a crime is unfair, sexist, and discriminatory. It's unjust when it's something only one half of the population can do, whether it's men or women. Legalize ejaculating on strangers at the bus stop.
Ok, I’m 115% pro-choice, but this reasoning is stupid. By this logic, all adults are rendered criminals or potential criminals because they could commit statutory rape, a crime only an adult can do. And all minors are rendered criminals or potential criminals because they could underage drink, a crime only a minor can do. Your logic is inherently flawed, and it comes off as pretentious and preachy
@@willvader6972the logic is flawed but literally who cares, you know it’s true. Focus on the message, women and all poor people are simply machines to the upper classes. Stop nit picking and get mad at the actual oligarchs who want you to be a wage slave until the heat death of the universe.

It’s a satire of those generic American dream movies where some small town kid achieves fame through hard work and grit. Except in this case his dream isn’t something wholesome but instead one of the most corrupt yet common moneymaking schemes in real life America that preys on the poor and on minorities for slave labor. Basically it’s the contrast between the generically wholesome dialogue about achieving a dream and the brutal reality of what the people in power actually want.
@Magnustopheles I would be very surprised if the entire prison system is only there to keep down specific racial groups... you know prisons are to be found in every country on earth right? And they have the same mission in every country, which is, to arrest people who does not obey the laws who was put in place to protect the public. Some countries have different laws, however, the mission of the prison is the same. If you believe that it is not the main mission of the US's prison system, well I guess you would have no problem then, that we release everybody and put them outside of your house. After all according to you, most of them, if not all of them, are normal people who got put in prison simply because of their race.
@@elliel8626 one option is that my mind is simple, second might be that you're illogical, extremely paranoid or maybe just brain-washed. Mean while you might explain to me why are there prisons all over the world and what is their purpose... are the prisons in Africa also racist?

One of those people you think if only daddy had pulled out.
Except it being racial for no real reason, it was funny:)
People of color are disproportionately targeted. It's not "racial for no reason"
