for a jet in 2024, the tech inside the jets are so underwelming. the tv's a screens are small with large bezels and nothing new or different from previous years... only the cockpit tech changes but the rest aghhh. I don't own i jet but these jets need to be more inspiring to work up to them as a goal.. houses, cars, trailers/campers, tents, and even toilets are moving with the times but not these jet makers
Yeah and they all think this is peak luxury but the tech was way lagging way behind.

Is it really necessary to fly these airplanes around all the time... wasting money and fuel just to take rich people to vacation spots, "business" trips and blah dee dah? So funny. If people would invest their time and money on things that actually matter in this world, just imagine how wonderful it could be! Alas people's priorities are in the toilet.

Wow. this Gulfstream is like a flying luxury penthouse! I can't believe it has a bed and a shower onboard. That tail cam is such a cool feature, and those giant windows would give breathtaking views.
I'm already daydreaming about taking a shower at 40k feet, while cruising over exotic destinations. Gulfstream has raised the bar. so luxurious i bet the turbulence feels like a massage

Gulfstream, if you're listening, G700. 1 should definitely include a spa package. my ACJ320neo has been feeling a bit jealous lately. It's saying, Why not add a spa package to the G700. I wouldn't mind a little friendly competition in the sky

Mostly Intercontinental. Zurich - Capetown is not issue at all for that beauty:-)
The company flew two fully-outfitted production test versions of the G700 to more than 20 countries across six continents, setting 25 speed records in the process. The record flights connected a variety of city pairs, often 12 or more hours apart, to help demonstrate the aircraft’s combination of speed, fuel economy and passenger comfort.
Among the record runs were Savannah, where Gulfstream is based, to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 12 hours, 36 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90, or about 690 mph; Riyadh to Melbourne, Australia, in 13 hours, 39 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.87, or about 667 mph; Istanbul, Turkey, to Van Don International Airport in Vietnam, in 9 hours, 2 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.90; and Christchurch, New Zealand, to Los Angeles in 12 hours, 13 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.87.
Why would you spend the extra cost for long-distance capability if you don't travel such distances on a regular basis?

Pleasant presentation. Yet, again we have the usual popular error when it's about aircraft's cockpits: An H.U.D. is a head*-up display, not a "heads-up display" (0:45). This device may give you a "heads-up" on the aircraft's data, but its purpose is to display these data right ahead of the pilots so they don't have to look down on some gauges, but can keep their HEAD UP and watch what's in front of them while checking flight data.
Funny that this has subconsciously made it into my vocabulary ^^ A few years ago I was the one saying that when people wrongfully called it that in cars for example. Will try to adjust haha. Cheers

70 mil;ion and you cant even fart or sleep, or ontrol your lightnig without bothering the persone next to you. for 70m I need two suites and at least 2 extra foldable cabines for flat bed seats.
I will buy this model or the G800 but I'll change the brown wood style for black. The ultra long range capacity and the short takeoff distance of these jets make them amazing and very versatile.

Am I the only one who is disappointed by the entertainment? Only 1 TV in the main cabin? 32inch only? What about all the seats? What to they do during their 11h flight?
mostly there are not that many people aboard and these customer choose their flighttime so they can use it to sleep + there is wifi so you can watch videos from notebook, smartphone or tablet too
I mean you could have a gaming pc in there but you'd to connect the wifi via Starlink

2500 to 3000 hrly just in fuel and doesn’t include insurance …..pilot fees …. and maintenance …..and storage ….and runway parking fees ….and yearly training …….wi fi….managing fees….And I’m sure I missed some other expenses I wish i had money to turn and burn we only live once
Wow if I save up and order this customized in a couple years I will get to have it in around 5 years. Really got to plan ahead with these types of jets.

It's not often I look at something super expensive like this and go "Shit, I'd actually really like that!" but this one took the cake.
I imagine flying mach 0.925 at 50,000ft with just you and a couple of mates or your spouse would be really quite something. Especially since the cabin is apparently only 51db at cruise (Quieter than talking volume) compared to commercial airliners which sit around 80db (Loud vacuum cleaner). Definitely easier to relax and sleep
Instead of 75M on the plane its 2 milly on a boat and the other 73 on fuel, chef, captain, friends, food, booze, docking and maintenance. I think that should do me. Find me where its hot, thnx

Sorry if this is a weird question, but I'm trying to understand the configuration about the Grand Suite lavatory on the G700.
At 4:88, First question- The shower has some sort of bench with a lid. What is that used for? Is it a storage container of some sort?
At 5:08, Second question - I understand that the toilet is inside the quilted ottoman-type seat located next to the oval mirror. Does the lid flip back against the wall with the window or does it flip up to the side against the closet wall. I can't really tell how it would work from the video.
