Kudos to Qatar for allowing such access. No matter who you are, it’s always brave to allow public/non-company access for a honest review. Obviously I’m impressed with the aircraft and the experience prior to actually boarding but I’m more impressed with the friendliness of the staff and crew from start to finish. For such a high-end experience, they presented very relaxed and relatable rather than stiff and as superior as they could be. Also impressive is that they appear to care for their crew’s well-being. This to me shows a rare clarity that, after the product itself, this is the number one step in providing their clients the best experience. Qatar is an excellent executive travel choice and obviously understand what is needed in their offering. (Oh & congrats to you TrekTrendy for your experience! What an honor for you and your channel. Great job!)
I enjoyed the video, but I certainly wouldn’t call it an honest review - and I don’t think it was trying to be one. He wasn’t taking a critical look into pros and cons, competitors, pricing, etc. It was an entertaining look at a luxury that in all likelihood none of us will ever witness.

Honestly, the two things that impressed me the most are 1. 700mph (I would imagine you could only get that fast over the water because of the sonic booms) and 2. 51,000 feet??? Pretty much there's no weather phenomenon you can't fly over getting up that high! Holy crap!

You didn't get to experience the full Gulfstream G650 experience since you didn't take off and land in a different country or time zone. That would have been more epic.
While I'll likely never fly as either a passenger or pilot on this beautiful jet, I'm glad to see it exists. An incredible piece of engineering with a great airline to showcase it.
I remember the first time I got to experience lounges and lie flats and felt like I discovered a whole new world-but this is so next level! So awesome that they invited you to experience!

Its funny, I've never flown private but talked to a couple people who have flown private in a small business jet out of BNA(Nashville). Granted this was like 10 years ago, but it was like you arranged a time for a driver to pick you up from your hotel, house, the office tower downtown after your meeting etc. They showed up in a black Town Car, drove you to the airport. You entered thru the general aviation entrance, they flashed their badge, the gate went up, they drove you to the stairs of your plane. You almost immediately taxied, took off within 15 minutes of leaving the limo. When you landed, you taxied to the private terminal, walked off the stairs into the black Town Car and were driven home immediately. The time savings of not dealing with the airport was the whole point, you could get work done riding in the back of the Town Car and in flight. They also said the jet was an old Lear Jet from the late 80's/early 90's or a Cessna Citation from the 80's.

I used to work on these planes. I would climb into the fuel bays for 12 hours a day and make sure they were up to snuff before being attached to the main fuselage. I miss being apart of such a big operation. Had to leave because of some bad business practices during the height of the pandemic. Working a better paying job without having to work as much but I still think of my days as a wing jockey

This is what's wrong with the world.. People being able to fly private jets just to eat dinner in another country.. And the poor and middle class have to pay for it.. It's always like this, those who are filthy rich can pollute as much as they want, but a normal family can't even push some diesel smok out into the atmosphere. Disgusting
Qatar airways is by far at the top of their game, I've flown their business class on multiple occasions and they have some of the finest planes and most accommodating staff in the industry. I always feel as though somehow I am taking advantage of their service when I fly but truly they are gracious and friendly on all accounts, I have nothing bad to say about the experience. Top tip if you live in Qatar and have a QID turn left at the passport check and register for quick entry with your finger print and avoid the snake line when flying coach it will save you an hour on some occasions especially with the world cup approaching.
This channel is the best I've seen, it shows solid reviews lots of food and champagne 🍾 👌 🤤 love the aircraft and railway trips around the world 🌎 this is just extraordinary well done. Quick tip: You should go to Gloucestershire Airport in the UK it has come second in the busiest general aviation airport not only is there amazing staff but there is a company called the Little Jet Company and their private jets or turboprops are amazing mate, keep making me smile and good luck on all your dreams. 😁
I use to work at an FBO and we had a G650 in for the day and I got to have lunch onboard with the flight attendant and im glad our experiences are the same.
I have a friend who is in the private jet leasing business. On a number of occasions he has been generous enough to take a group of us to Las Vegas for the weekend on the G4 and G5. It does spoil you for anything else.
11:06 - Jetlag is guaranteed, regardless of how comfortable you are. As long as you are travelling at Jet speeds going East to West and Vice Versa, the "Jetlag" is inevitable for most people.
not everyone. thank god altho i flew economy my body clock always adjust and i never experience any jetlag so far. almost 31 years old here altho i just visited 27 countries so far.
@@MedianaDhea You are a lucky one, really lucky. I commented because he implied that Jetlag is somewhat caused by your level of comfort. The most severe Jetlag I've ever experienced was when I flew to Japan which is 7 hours ahead of my city. I was falling asleep during the day, and being wide awake in the middle of the night for 3 days in a row. I experienced the same thing when I went to America as well.
Qatar is smart for inviting you out to see this aircraft. This video alone will help spread knowledge to a lot of rich people who can afford flying in one of these.

Comp'd to sit on the ground for a couple hours. You'd think they could've swung a quick flight around Doha, not even one hour on the Hobbs meter.

I used to work on these planes. I would climb into the fuel bays for 12 hours a day and make sure they were up to snuff before being attached to the main fuselage. I miss being apart of such a big operation. Had to leave because of some bad business practices during the height of the pandemic. Working a better paying job without having to work as much but I still think of my days as a wing jockey

This is what's wrong with the world.. People being able to fly private jets just to eat dinner in another country.. And the poor and middle class have to pay for it.. It's always like this, those who are filthy rich can pollute as much as they want, but a normal family can't even push some diesel smok out into the atmosphere.

Qatar airways is by far at the top of their game, I've flown their business class on multiple occasions and they have some of the finest planes and most accommodating staff in the industry. I always feel as though somehow I am taking advantage of their service when I fly but truly they are gracious and friendly on all accounts, I have nothing bad to say about the experience. Top tip if you live in Qatar and have a QID turn left at the passport check and register for quick entry with your finger print and avoid the snake line when flying coach it will save you an hour on some occasions especially with the world cup approaching.
This channel is the best I've seen, it shows solid reviews lots of food and champagne 🍾 👌 🤤 love the aircraft and railway trips around the world 🌎 this is just extraordinary well done.
Quick tip: You should go to Gloucestershire Airport in the UK it has come second in the busiest general aviation airport not only is there amazing staff but there is a company called the Little Jet Company and their private jets or turboprops are amazing mate, keep making me smile and good luck on all your dreams. 😁

I have a friend who is in the private jet leasing business. On a number of occasions he has been generous enough to take a group of us to Las Vegas for the weekend on the G4 and G5. It does spoil you for anything else.

11:06 - Jetlag is guaranteed, regardless of how comfortable you are. As long as you are travelling at Jet speeds going East to West and Vice Versa, the "Jetlag" is inevitable for most people.
not everyone. thank god altho i flew economy my body clock always adjust and i never experience any jetlag so far. almost 31 years old here altho i just visited 27 countries so far.
@@MedianaDhea You are a lucky one, really lucky. I commented because he implied that Jetlag is somewhat caused by your level of comfort. The most severe Jetlag I've ever experienced was when I flew to Japan which is 7 hours ahead of my city. I was falling asleep during the day, and being wide awake in the middle of the night for 3 days in a row. I experienced the same thing when I went to America as well.
