These species of bears are the largest living bears in the world. Travis joins our brother in law, Adam, on this once in a lifetime adventure. Those older males are the best you can hunt in my opinion. And I’m talking bears in general, black bears or grizzlies. They’re more dangerous, they’ve already had a long life, they’re threatening to cubs, livestock. They’ve got nice big hides you can tan, big skulls to mount.

Cool hunt guys. Just wondering....what part of the bear are you bringing back? Just the hide and some meat? I'm assuming the carcass that remains will provide some protein to the animals that come across it, providing some meaningful calories to the scavenger population correct? Enjoyed this video. Yeah, unfortunately, bears don’t have good meat. The best you can get is a black bear that’s been living on grass and acorns.

I don't mind grizzlies shot. I just came from a video where a Grizzlie is trying to get his paw on a black bear sow and his cubs in their den. He got one cub and his heart rendering scream as it was torn apart terrified me. I'm glad the sow and her cubs made a run for it successfully.
