- Tana and Adam's Dall Sheep Hunt. They are both residents to Alaska, and being an Alaska resident has its perks in being a hunter. Adam's experience in being a bush pilot makes the hunting experiences even better. You can get as far away from civilization as possible. Their first camp was a bust, so they flew to a different spot to try out. There was a few obstacles along the way. From a big brown bear trying to attack the big ram that they were after, to hiking several miles to see that a sheep wasn't legal size, it really made this hunt challenging. Thankfully the big dall sheep that Tana was after finally presented a shot. Thank you for watching this hunting episode and don't forget to subscribe!!!! I’m so glad to see y’all hunting as a family I’m trying so hard, but the nation like it is and being without a job.. well y’all know. I won’t ever quit trying to get back to my childhood with my cousin who died we loved hunting and fishing. My dad and mom being disabled since i was little and my older cousin stepped up and showed me how to enjoy God’s nature. If you want to enjoy God’s nature, then let God’s nature be. It is morally repugnant and logically wrong that the ultimate goal of enjoyment would be killing. I’m thinking that God is looking down and is very displeased with the human race, on multiple levels, including the gratuitous killing of his other beloved creations.

Having seen multiple cans of gasoline with bite marks puncturing all of them (Kodiak), I always wondered about plane damage on this type of fly-in hunt.

Hard-earned?? They have high-powered high tech weaponry, versus a mild-mannered creature who has no interest in a fight and isn’t even aware that a conflict exists. This doesn’t qualify as “hard work”.

@@toddtkach3806 Omigosh, Todd, first of all, I’m going to go out on a limb and say I spend more time outdoors, hiking, backpacking, cycling, than you or any hunter. And without harming a single denizen of the outdoors. I accept the idea that people hunt, I wish they didn’t, all I can do is try to influence. One more thing: I try to encourage folks who hunt to excise certain words from their vocabulary, and the most obvious word is “conservation”. Nothing about what a hunter does is conservation, ESPECIALLY when it involves traveling deep into the middle of nowhere to kill an animal who is doing nothing more than living and enjoying a life that needs no “conservationist” to come in and disrupt. Do me a favor, and if you’re going to hunt, at least don’t insult my intelligence.
@@baseballman4958 well you’ve proved my point that you are not educated about conservation and how it relates to hunting! I think it’s great that you enjoy the outdoors and whether someone gets outdoors once a year or does it regularly doesn’t give one or the other more rights to it. Conservation through hunting helps control the populations (even far back into areas once not easily accessed). Overpopulation, dwindling populations and predictor control are a few of the reasons it’s necessary. Hunters for a large part are the reason that many species have grown in population by supporting many organizations that are geared towards conservation; Ducks Unlimited, Wild Sheep Foundation, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and many others. These organizations put forth millions of dollars annually to conserve these animals and are supported mainly by “hunters”!! If you see elk, sheep, goats deer, moose etc. during your outdoor adventures you can thank these organizations and the hunters that support them. I know it’s a hard concept for many to grasp but the healthy populations of animals is due to hunters!!
@@toddtkach3806 First, thank you for your thoughtful response, which is regrettably all too rare. Here’s the basic premise that hunters ignore and which you may deem archaic and naive. HUMANS are the ones who have made incursions into wildlife habitat under the cloak of civilization. Because we have built homes, highways, etc., and then deer, etc., show up in “our” habitat, the solution is not to cull the wildlife population. The solution is to curb the growth of human presence in the non-human animals’ habitat. Just like when cars hit deer, elk, and moose, the solution isn’t hunting season, it’s fewer cars!! And the idea that conservation plays any role in the hunting expeditions into the deep wilderness is complete and utter BS. Sorry. It’s the ultimate oxymoron, and hunters should be ashamed to pull that card. At least call a spade a spade.
