Dang it man. Hunt of a lifetime, incredible adventure no matter what but dang that sucks brother!!! Gotta go back now, no matter what!!! A do-over as Mr Tom Miranda calls it
Always and I mean Always carry plenty of extra ammo on you. In your pockets easy to get to. It still probably wouldn't have mattered but it might save your life someday.
It's hard to lose an animal, but it happens occasionally. I got a chuckle out of your tent set up. We're in bear country, and we have our snacks in the same tent we sleep in. I always thought that was a bad idea myself.
“Maybe my guide should’ve shot below him or around it, to get it to stop.” What guide did you have, that allowed you in your mind, that that would even been an option. Guide letting you shoot indiscriminately into the bush, and you thinking that’s a good idea? Better stick to pen raised bird hunting, bud.
what a mess... i do not think that could be possible on a hunt..you ended up with a wounded dead bear and lucky you did not get mauled. did not no it was possible to make so many mistakes/bad decisions on a hunt.
Easy to say when you’re not in that spot. Unfortunately hunting is never perfect, all we can do is learn from it and hopefully someone else can learn from our mistakes too.
Your 1st brown bear hunt? You guys are lucky to be alive.
So did that plane hit a bird on takeoff or did something fly off of it? Beginning of video after she was petting the dog.

I am so glad you had a good time. Great video! ❤ oh, I dont think we've had a drop of rain since you left. 😅
That’s tough. You guys did your best looking for him.
Good job of showing us the reality of hunting and also the very concerning in your face bear at such a close range. Enjoyed watching you hunt.
I hunted with H&H last fall. Blaise was with me when i fill my tag. Top notch Outfitter and guides. All i can say is WOW man that sucks
So unfortunate. You did your due diligence, dont listen to the haters. Shit happens sometimes!
Bummer you didn't get him. Looks like an amazing experience though!

Thanks
What rain gear did you use ?
We used Helly Hansen long water proof jackets. They were a great combo with our hip-boots.
Wow nothing like a tough hot woman without a bear tag to come along in the most dreadful weather, better not let this one get away !!
Jesus that's horrendous. Shot, wounded, lost and dead somewhere. Please stay out of Alaska until you're ready next time and get rid of your guide!
Ouch brother 😮
You need more experience and a different guide because your guide also needs more experience. That was a total cluster fk
😯

How in the hell do you go after a brown bear and run out of amo
@@BoweHermanwhy didn’t your guide down the bear? Or did he try and I missed that part?
The fish and game shouldn't be allowed to sell hunting tags to out of state hunters in Alaska, this is a resource that alaskans need for survival.
Not great effort by all
Super cluster! Detachable Scope Homes !
Who was in charge of this Hunt ?
Waste of a fine animal
Too much talking , mfing joke
