- Adam & Tana are back at it again on another Alaskan Adventure. This time, we join them on a fall brown bear hunt. Adam is the hunter in this episode. Adam went face to face with this boar, and he made some incredible shots on him. Hunting is a way of life for most Alaskans. Wildlife officials allow a small percentage of brown bears to be harvested each year to prevent overpopulation issues. Thank you for watching, and don't forget to subscribe!!!

I am so jealous of you and your wife. I wished my wife would’ve followed me around like and hunted like yours does I have been a license guide in Alaska my whole adult life I have never got to kill a bear myself of that size that is my dream and I am 64 years old now and I have cancer so I don’t get to hunt anymore, but I love to live the hunt through you guys. You guys are great people. I wished I had the money that I could book a Alaska peninsula hunt for myself I killed had a client kill a 10‘6“ bear on the peninsula two years ago my wife found out she had brain cancer so I gave up hunting and guiding to stay with her until she passed away. Now I’m on my own and I’m living on a fixed income, so I love living my heart through you guys, you are a beautiful couple. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Awesome hunt. Back in May 2003 I got one on the AK peninsula . Changed my life being stuck there for 19 days, in a good way. Congratulations.

Last brown bear I got took three chest hits with a 338 win. mag. 275 grain bullets and one hit with a 375 H&H mag. that broke his back....and he was still going. Finally stopped in a tuff to get to spot. He was a10 footer. You guys are great!

He said it in the video. 338. Ultra Mag. Not suppressed. Massive caliber and bullet. Probably tried getting it down as fast as possible.

Is there an overpopulation of these bears that need to be culled? I noticed he mentioned more than one bear killed.
Peninsula and Kodiak are one Bear every 4 years,,,,not sure about southeast AK, i would like to know Harvest from 1991 to present day, i hunted 1991, 2007 and 2011 they seem to be less than in 91,,but that could be weather on Hunts. Would like to go in 2023 but flying is a Major Pain in the ass with all the gear you need,,,,seems i get shorted on my Gun Case or other gear every damn time i go,,,,bout got throwed in King Salmon Jail and Kotzebue jail,,,dont piss me off and give me all my Gear and Gun case and i wont show my Butt

Kodiak, Alaska native (Kodiak is home to the largest Brown Bear in the world)....30 years fishing around Kodiak Island and Bering Sea fighting the elements, 10 years on the North Slope enduring the weather. The people I ran with (locals) along with me never got a hard-on to rush out a annihilate one of these majestic animals...guess we didn't have the testosterone sitting behind a desk produces.

As the bears get smaller the measuring gets different. We shot nose to tail bears over 10' in the 90's.
