just watched the final episode of season 1. incredible series. i am so sad that there are only 2 more season. great actors, great story! goosebumps at the end of season 1.

Amazing show! Brilliant writing! I really enjoyed their arguments. How they always made a good point, how they defended their opinion. Impressive. I don’t understand why such a great show got just 3 seasons..

Did you not hear the stats listed in the trailer? We're not even as free as other countries like Norway, Canada, France, etc. We're not what we once were and we're certainly not as great as many of us think.

If you don't like certain things about America and you are an American, it is your civic duty to become informed about the facts (versus the spin of Fox or MSNBC) and change it through voting, petitioning, boycotting, peaceably protesting, and using whatever legal, ethical and moral means are at your disposal. If you're not willing the become the change you seek, then sit down, shut up, and leave it to those of us who are willing and give a damn.

Actually, Bhutan is the happiest country in the world, the Netherlands is the 2nd happiest. But I completely agree, "kjpodsia" asked, so he shall get an answer. No, not just an answer, a whole god damn washing list of countries that are better. Basically any country in Northern or Western Europe, and a few outside Europe, such as Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

You forgot to add the Netherlands, Switzerland and Luxembourg. And ofcourse outside of Europe there's New Zealand, Australia and Canada. And ofcourse there are also a bunch of other countries who are richer than the US or are better for other reasons, but because they also lack civil rights(like Americans), I won't mention those countries because they're only better at a few things, but not the most important ones (freedom, wealth, good healthcare/education and quality of life).
There was only so many countries Will McAvoy could list who have freedom within his time limit, but the message was pretty clear: America is *not* the only country in the world that has freedom. I have always loved Europe, had always wanted to travel there, and then I hear stories that Americans are not treated very well over there. Then my own professor, who *loves* France, said Europeans don't like Americans because Americans go over there and act like arrogant fools. He said go over there, be nice, be respectful, and they will be nice and respectful to you. I said, "Isn't that just common sense???" He then said, "Exactly; it's what Americans lack."

Yes, it is. And so is their healthcare(the NHS, ugh what a mess!), their economy(still trying to remain a self-sufficient island in the 21st century spirit of the global economy and trade without any borders, ow, and shitty weather which isn't going to do agriculture a lot of good).
Brittain is a nice place, and the people are really great (outside the cities at least, in the cities they're not all as nice), but Brittain isn't what it once was.

Norway has a tiny population, it only works for their specific situation. America is tens of trillions in debt only because we have to sustain the global economy. All of your stats are subject driven, give me hard numbers and a reputable source to back your claims. America has the largest military in the world, the best universities/colleges leading the way in technology and research. The U.S. has half of the top 100 largest companies in the world. The things you've listed don't mean jacksh!t.
It's not about America being in depth it's about Americans being in debt 10 of trillions of individual human people and not for anything but a injustice system catering only to a few people with too much money and no morals at all. You are being fed lies since childhood and dept since college so you would be too busy to care about others and ultimately yourself. Your Healthcare is no care at all and it's cause you are systematically tought to NOT care about America when it comes to actual people and not just a Idea of a fantasy that for most Americans is actualy widely out of reach. If your one of the lucky ones (yes lucky it's not due to your achievement only to be not at least knee deep in depth.) You are thought to be condescending instead of caring and it realy showes... and all the world sees it but you.
