All these negative comments that you some of your leaving, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Even though English may not be his first language. He is trying to earn money and probably provide for his family. As well don't judge on how he parked the truck or damaged the truck. You don't know what happened before he pulled over.
I was a Medium Duty tow truck driver which was quite a few years ago. I hated hooking up vehicles when you and the vehicle being towed were that close to the Fog line . No matter how much safety devices like flares or cones as you mentioned your head was always on a swivel I still to this day still remember my truck being sideswiped by a Motorhome on the 125fwy in San Diego . I just had seconds to react and dove under my truck and escaped being injured The owner of the vehicle I was towing was safe but after the incident frantically looked for me and then found out I was okay . What I couldn't believe was this Motorhome that hit me never stopped and CHP finally stopped this Motorhome near Alpine 20 plus miles away
It is a dangerous career, Drivers just don't pay attention, and even the ones that see you never seem to care or know that you are supposed to slow down and move over, but even that being said, it can be fun and it can be a good career to go into, just not the safest.
Hey Trent the side doors that flip up instead of down would drive me nuts!!! Can't imagine how many times you could hit your head on the door's. May wanna think about installing some flashing lights on the inside of the vertical doors for when they are open on your trucks. Good video as always, glad you were safe!
Great Video, loved the sound of your truck too. I have a class B n drive a tanker straight truck. I really would love to upgrade to an A and do heavy hauling as well, and hopefully own a Nice Rig like that one! Great Job n stay Safe!! 👍🏼
Trent, your truck is definitely organized and set up better than this unit. To each there own, he may like that set up and he is definitely comfortable with it, and that's fine. Your organization is perfect and the truck is always looking top notch, I would have my set up exactly like yours! Favorite TH-cam channel!
I bought a bag of those emergency amber rotating lights they are awesome. Waterproof and bright in the dark. On the side of a busy hwy with cars going 100mph you need all the safety you can get. Legally cars are “supposed” to move over a lane over from any emergency scene but yet people don’t do that. Just because you don’t see blue and reds doesn’t mean you need to slow the f**k down and move over! Merry Christmas 🎄
I got towed off Indio hill one time and it was not a very pleasant experience, you can imagine the type of tow truck they had in 84 plus it was close to 100 degrees,Happy Times
Amazing how with cables, headphones, air hoses, no matter how neat and tidy you put them away....it’s always like a birds nest when you need them again.... doncha just hate that?
The one trouble with over and under is that if you throw it out wrong it turns into a series of half-knots. You have to be careful to grab the correct end before throwing it out. Of course, sometimes it isn't obvious which is the correct end... :-)
Where i live whe use a tma equipped truck (tma special saftey bumper in the rear of the truck) that stops/redirect the traffic and with large directional signs on the truck. (on roads with hig speed traffic. and ones with a lot of traffic). And often the police comes to assist. So you not get hit. And some of the recovery trucks has the same warningligts on the roof as the police just to slow down traffic. (not shure if its realy legal and they combine it with yellow lights)
At 2:10 in the video does anybody know the name of that yellow box that Trent puts down when he turned on cuz I'm trying to look for it so I can buy one
Trent, a question. At 09:26 you posted a message stating that because the unit has a manual transmission, you would not need to remove the driveshaft. Later you removed the driveshaft. Did I miss something? Just wondering.
I think he meant he didn't have take it off to move it back and forth while it was on the lift, then when he was ready to go further down the road, he took it off to avoid any damage to the driveshaft
Why don't semi truck makers build a drive shaft holder so if it needs towed they can just unscrew it and lay it in a metal bracket or slot so you dont need the ratchet strap. Just s bungie cord..just s thought ...
Man that sucks on the highway for you guys, here in Ontario it’s legally required for you to move over for a tow truck as you would for a police car or fire truck
Plaza Towing ummm this video I commented on was you hooking a semi on the side of the road and calling dispatch to tell them you would pull over at a rear stop to finish hooking safety chains and run air to the trailer for brakes. So again, it would have taken 2 Minutes to run the safety chains on the side of the road before you towed 55-60k lbs down the road.
Interesting, TH-cam originally attached your comment to a winchout video but now it is back to where it should be lol. Anyways, while you are correct, due to the increasing fatality rate being a tow operator (1 operator is killed every 6 days) 2 minutes could easily be the difference between life and death. 2 minutes absolutely feels like an eternity with vehicles speeding by at 80 MPH. Therefore the decision was made to hook up and get it to a MUCH safer spot ie the rest stop. Hopefully my reasoning makes sense. Thank you for watching and your support of this channel!

Those wireless brake and turn signal lights are so slick -- not like the old days :D

Seems like you know what you are doing, good job driver. Stay safe.
Very nice job. I see the drivers out your way are very inconsiderate too. What ever happened to slow down and move over? God Bless and Merry Christmas
You took all the danger and set up and the other guy gets the drive. Sorry timing on the tires. I am glad to know there are those like you out there.
Nice battle with the hose snake...🐍...😊
It was a long a gruesome battle but I conquered lol. Thanks for watching
This channel makes me want to get my license to do this..... I love this channel ... soooo glad I subscribed

Merry Christmas to you Trent, and the rest of the plaza Towing. Merry Christmas ho ho ho!🎅🎅🎅
I love the truck you ran in this video can you please do more videos using this truck or
After watching this video from now on if I see a tow truck on the shoulder I pledge to always move to the left lane when ever possible before passing
Amazing how with cables, headphones, air hoses, no matter how neat and tidy you put them away....it’s always like a birds nest when you need them again.... doncha just hate that?
Hello Trent, I just wanted to say I hope you and your family have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. I love your videos buddy.

Good job Trent.Merry Christmas from Nashville Tennessee

Merry Christmas
Morning Trent
Forgot mention ...
Trent have a Merry Christmas to you and your Family !!!!!!
must have been intense working that close to traffic!
If the state of California imposed stiffer move over fines and the CHP would actually enforce it people might start to move over
Good job again, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, pull toy here.
Great video
In my own opinion. I think C.H.P. should be called on all highway repairs and disabled vehicle calls. Just to help slow traffic down.
I doubt that would even help people still won't move over. And that seems to be everywhere
At 2:10 in the video does anybody know the name of that yellow box that Trent puts down when he turned on cuz I'm trying to look for it so I can buy one
Trent, have you ever had issues with your DEF system in the Pete? Do you have a Paccar motor?
How far away where you towing the truck? My company requires to remove the driveshaft when front end towing no matter if its manual or auto

Besutiful
America rides on the trucks back.
Why did you use a boomer to tie to the underreach instead of the way you usually do it with the chain hooks? Merry Christmas Trent
That’s just the way that truck is set up otherwise I’d do it my way. Thanks for watching!
Thank Goodness for wireless lite Bars
How do you like darals truck for the cab and such? not the Jerr Dan body I know that's not as good.
Why don't semi truck makers build a drive shaft holder so if it needs towed they can just unscrew it and lay it in a metal bracket or slot so you dont need the ratchet strap. Just s bungie cord..just s thought ...
Good job. Kind of close quarters where you had to hook up.
Swift....ahhhhhh!!!
what is Darls truck based on? a Pete 579? a Pete 567? a different truck? just curious
a rotator operator was assaulted in our area after winching out a semi. stay safe.
Yay another vid been waiting love your content 😍
Man that sucks on the highway for you guys, here in Ontario it’s legally required for you to move over for a tow truck as you would for a police car or fire truck
Same here in the state's people still don't care
It is here in California, too. People just don't care.
Yeah i would relocate the forks and chains to the other side of the truck!🤔
Definitely can tell Daryl’s truck pretty different than yours
He’s speaking Vietnamese. I know this because I speak it
Why does the truck have outrigger this on the side usually only rotators have them on the side
Can you do a walk around of Darals truck you drove in todays video!?
Must be difficult dealing with drivers who don't speak English too well. I wonder how they got their licenses.
I know you always fit the safety chains, but have they ever actually been needed on a job? And I don’t mean needed as in ‘the law says we have to’
To this date we have never lost a a vehicle so the answer would be no. Thank you for watching!
Damn people - SLOW DOWN, MOVE OVER!!
Would have taken 2 minutes for safety chains.
confused on where safety chains would be used here? This was a winch out not a tow! Thank you for watching!

It be much easier if he spoke more than two words of English.
This 100%
I was the first one to like your video
Yieh
How can people drive if they don't speak the languish how can they get direction or communicate an emergency, read the signs in the highways...?
This. I don't understand it.
You can’t even write in the language you think you are proficient in.
Man he side swipe something ????
