    great build , the issue you had with it not working at first could of been because of first time booting , when you boot up for the first time it needs to memory train this can take a while especially with
    DDR5 ram

    • @sulcetech

      That could also have been another problem I had without knowing, the first problem was not having the CPU plugged in. When I plugged the CPU in, it booted right up. And thank you!

    • @sulcetech
      @sulcetech  ปีที่แล้ว

      I got the 4070Ti OC for $680. I have a 4k 144hz monitor so this GPU is great for it
      The kraken elite comes with a bigger screen at 640p which is a great upgrade from the non elite version. It also does a great job keeping the cpu cool as well

    Congratulations on your first build little tip though for anyone reading the comments and for yourself, never EVER pur again any of your component on top of an anti static plastic bag you might fry something on it, your motherboard box is totally enough as a working surface, you can also use any non glide mousepad that is big enough. I hope you're enjoying the build so far !

  • @fksllil4068
    @fksllil4068 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is a good build, sure but the price to performance ratio is terrible. Don't get dominator ram, it's expensive as hell. Same goes for all of the corsair parts you chose, you should have gotten a b660 instead of a b760, you should have gotten arctic p12s instead of silent wings and finally, you should have gotten a sabrent high end gen4 ssd for editing videos (I don't know what the price used to be but it's cheap asf now) and a 2tb low end gen3 ssd for storing games and such. If it's not enough, a 4tb one isn't that much more. Doing all of this should have made the pc about 400 dollars cheaper. Also, you didn't mention the case, so I don't know about that. One more thing, I personally would have gotten a big atx case and an atx motherboard but hey, that's just me
    Edit: nzxt aios suck ass too, an ls520 or an lt520 would have been a much better option

    • @sulcetech
      @sulcetech  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your thoughts, I researched the parts you mentioned.
      Dominator ram is one of the best and the price is worth it in my opinion for my use case with so many ram intensive apps open at once
      I don’t know much about the b660 but at the time, b760M was the go to for a 4070Ti mATX pc build in my research
      The case is the Gamemax Spark, it was $75 and it’s an mATX case.
      I got the NZXT 280mm AIO with the new updated screen, I can admit that’s a bit pricey for performance but it has a nice screen 😅 the performance is good though.
      I’m a fan of be quiet also
      The SSDs seem like the prices are around the same range as well
      Some things are just preference, I like these parts more than the ones you mentioned but I respect your idea on a pc build like how you said you’d prefer a big case with an ATX motherboard. I’d rather do a mATX

      @@sulcetech That's not true. Your PC's colors don't match. A white motherboard, a case which is white on the outside but black on the inside, a gray gpu, it doesn't look nice. While yours looks like that, mine has matching colors. A blacked out rgb gpu, a black cooler, case, motherboard with a small red accent, e.t.c. Judging from that, my pc will most likely look better than yours. If you see it for yourself, you'll probably be biased. One more thing, the dominator ram gives a small rgb accent which ruins the entire build imo, it looks pretentious
