Fun fact: in season 1 ep 2 there were LOTS of deleted scene and content I'll put it here (from wiki fandom): _ During the bear trap incident, the situation was completely different. Travis was not present and Lee, Kenny or Mark had to help Ben shoot the walkers while one of the three cut off Mr. Parker's leg. If Mr. Parker was saved, the story would progress as normal, but if he was left behind, Lee would have been left with an additional choice whether to leave Ben behind as well. If David was left behind, Mark would get shot in the head at the dairy by the bandits after he and Lee finish clearing the fence at the St. Johns dairy, requiring Lee to get back to dairy alone, Mr. Parker would then be found taking up Mark's role of being the dinner. _ There a various unused rooms seen in the files, such as an empty room, a stairway, and a storage room. _ Lee and the group could choose to bring gas or not. If Lee said no, then Andy would come back with some food every day until the group said yes. Ben would stay behind due to the traumas, Kenny replacing his role in joining the trip to the dairy. Lilly was more acceptable to the newest member, teaching him the basics. _ There is a dream sequence present in the game data, whoever you didn't save (Doug/Carley) came back to haunt Lee in his dream asking why they weren't saved, and that Clementine will die because of his actions. The senator that Lee killed is mentioned, his name revealed to be Sam. They end it with "Do you think you can save me this time?" _ When the group arrived at the farm, the group could either take the biscuits or leave.(Refusing them apparently results in a hilarious dialog between Mark and Carley/Doug) Lee could also freely leave the farm and back to the motor inn if desired. _ When first arriving at the dairy, Lee could have initiated in dialogue with Danny, where he reveals that he and Andy are responsible for the bear traps in the forest and that they are rigged to not be opened. Lee could bring the incident with David to him. _ Kenny could have initiated in more dialogue with Lee after he returns from the hunt with Danny. Kenny's dialogue include his lines from the teaser trailer about the possibility of war, Lee could agree or disagree. Kenny would also mention to Lee about what he saw in the barn, which he would come to the conclusion that they are keeping food. _ One thing to note about the bandits is that the group was originally aware of them and presumably encountered them several times. _ In addition, the bandits were supposed to pose a much bigger threat in the story. When Duck and Kenny are playing on the swing, a walker would have appeared and would be electrified by the fence. _ There was more to Jolene. Depending on Lee's choice she could mention another bandit called Paul, and her daughter Danielle. _ There's an unused audio clip where Brenda tells Lee about her husband's fate. She says that a bunch of walkers got into the house somehow, and attacked Terry, thus killing Terry. _ The dinner sequence was much larger, as an unused sub-quest occurred where Lee had to cut Clementine's food or let Lilly/Kenny do it. Lee could also choose to add more salt or pepper to Clementine's plate or let the two above do it. There were several retakes of a prayer, and Lee at this point had found out that Mark/David was dinner. _ There was originally more backstory on the barricade seen in the downstairs hallway. _ Originally when Lee excuses himself to wash his hands, Lee could have picked up some pills from the cabinet. _ Additionally, Lee could give them to Lilly when she tries to revive Larry. _ Larry's death was much sadder as he in his dying breath apologized to Lilly for not being able to protect her and her mother. _ When Lilly tries to revive Larry, she would have said her line that can be heard in the teaser for Starved For Help. _ When Kenny tries to convince the others to put Larry down, Lee had the option to let Kenny kill Larry or restrain Kenny in an attempt to stop him from crushing Larry's head, however Kenny would overpower Lee, as opposed to the choice in the final game. _ After killing Larry, Kenny had much more dialogue in meat locker that included apologising to Clementine for making her witness Larry's death, he also would suggest to Lee about removing the AC unit rather than the player discovering it themself. _ In addition, the conversation would play out differently depending on Lee's actions. If Lee had agreed to let Kenny kill Larry, he would approve of Kenny's suggestion. If Lee fought with Kenny, he would sarcastically ask if Kenny was gonna knock him down if he didn't agree. _ There was also an unused interaction where Lee could ask Kenny for help. If Lee agreed to let Kenny kill Larry, Kenny would agree to help but politely tell Lee to wait for a second. _ If Lee fought with Kenny, then he would sarcastically say that Lee's always eager to help him. _ When deciding Danny's fate, Lee had an additional option to simply knock him out. _ The group was scattered at first after the revelation of cannibalism, Lee found Kenny first, who was shot beforehand, and then Lilly before trying to rescue Duck and Katjaa. _ Originally the group did not find a station wagon, the food was in the barn. After Doug/Carley and Ben saves Lee and the others and after Andy's fight, they all took a box and went back to the motor inn. The supply room was replaced with a bloody tub, metallic equipment and jars containing organs instead. _ If the player decided to help Larry, later when the group is in the forest and Lee gave his answer to Clementine about the St. John's fate, Lilly states that she already knew about Lee killing the man who slept with his wife. She accepts that as believes Lee is making the right decisions. This was scrapped for unknown reasons. _ If Lee made every choice that goes against Kenny as much as possible, he would tell Lee before finding the station wagon that he is leaving without both him and Clementine. _ Additionally, after the survivors took the food you could go around asking everyone how they felt about today's events in the motor inn. If Mr. Parker was left behind but taking Ben he'd tell that it was a horrible fate for his teacher as he was a good man. The teaser for "Long Road Ahead" was going to be longer, but was cut down most likely to prevent spoilers.
Something i did notice, whether intentional or not, Andy said he turned on the fence cause he thought Mark screaming was the "alright" sign, even though, Mark only screamed in pain AFTER the fence went back on, maybe Andy tried to catch them off guard and kill them while they were handling the fence, just something I noticed when replaying, since Andy saying he turned the fence on cause Mark yelled. Even though the fence came on BEFORE that, Andy probably said that as an excuse
Good catch. watching the clips over and over, it did seemed he did that on purpose but another thing with that by the off chance mark, lee or both of them died by the fences because of andy, it would've made the reveal of them being cannibals a lot less revealing and having the group eating the meat a lot easier without getting caught
@@JG-nz7kxYeah, that's probably why this isn't really touched upon after, rewatching the scene, it's definitely one of the moments in the episode, that would definitely make you question the St.Johns in a really subtle way if you pay attention to the dialogue, and what actually happened. That's what I like about the episode, there are subtle moments that make you question everything, but not enough that it's obvious, until the dinner scene where it's revealed, they are cannibals. Also, something else I gotta point out, I love the detail of the scene where Lee leaves Andy alive, we see a zombified Brenda walking out of the house towards Andy, something about that is just terrifying, The choice to leave Andy alive, feels like the choice where you can make him suffer, as he watches his home get overrun, and his own mother, a walker.
This! And what crazy is that some people that played the gameplay nowadays said it was a set up like Leland and mark gameplay they was saying it was back door etc set up which is crazy cause he turn it on cus they knew mark and Lee was fixing the fence and pushing off the walker so they plan was to get one of them . That was a big sign too
I definetaly see that, but I am asking myself. Could there have been any mistakes... I mean why would they do that ? They have a bandit situation right ? I would have used the new manpower for defence. I always chose to believe that fence is turned on by mistake. Like when Andy is trying to fix it or something.
@@ArchlordFelix Who knows, but considering they're cannibals at this point, maybe they did try to lessen the numbers by taking one or even two of them out
im not sure that tracks though cause if they died outside the fence theres a high chance theyd get munched by zombies before the St Johns could get them, and I dont think theyd want to eat infected flesh (although I dunno if its ever been shown whether or not thats actually safe)
it's probably not to eat them, but to lower the number of people they have to worry about. Remember, Danny said they have to be kept alive else the meat get tainted, and while walking towards the farm, Andy said the electric fence was like 20,000 volts or something, which is lethal.
i think they were trying to take them out because they were probably the biggest threats in the group. after they were gone they probably figured it’d be easy to take out the rest
dude this story in hindsight when you’re not actually playing makes it so much eerier for me. having all these clues and shit explained all at once makes it all worse. also, poor mark!! dude lost everyone in his life and for months was with randoms as well as trapped alone. he befriends lee and helps him out just to get hurt. after they get you in, they find an excuse to get rid of lee and leave you with strangers. they don’t kill you, but rather cut your legs to shreds, leaving you in a pool of blood all alone once again. but despite it all, he uses his last living moments to save the people he barely knew. poor guy.
It may have been the darkest episode but it’s one of the greatest episodes in the entire franchise. I just loved the whole St John revolution and the crazy plot twist was so compelling to me.
I even consider the characters better writing, Kenny and Lilly being more annoying and selfish, but in a more human and coherent way, From the third chapter onwards Kenny becomes an annoying bag of selfishness and Lilly becomes a crazy bitch.
@@d.c.741 Plus it was also the first episode to introduce human main antagonist that ain't the dead. Showing to everyone that the dead are the least of there concerns as the living are far more dangerous now that law and order has fallen.
Being dark is what makes it so good. TWD is supposed to be bleak. The show lost sight of this after about season 8. Comics and telltale captured it perfectly
@@ZEXTAHEREit's possible. He killed his family due to him feeling betrayed by them but could not deal with his own guilt after the murders and blamed them on others.
I know this just got published but I love these walking dead videos that just keep showing up despite it being years after it's release. keep up the good content, would love to see the fourth season brought up sometime
It’s not just the fact that humanity has lost all of its values through seeing the actions of jolene, the bandits and the Saint John family. But towards the end you see the world’s darkness is even beginning to taint your own group. Lilly is going unhinged. Kenny is abandoning his altruistic side from episode 1. And your entire group (and determinately you) just stole supplies from someone.
Playing this episode for the first time was surreal. The St.John Brothers and their mom never give me the impressions that they were good people. Andy, especially was bloodthirsty. Glad I didn’t let Clem eat Mark’s legs (RIP Mark 🕊️) . The episode still disturbs me to this day. *Also Fuck Larry and Lilly lol 😂
This episode remains my second favorite episode of the Telltale Walking Dead franchise and you did a good job explaining as to why me and so many others love this episode.
I still remember being little and watching my brother play this game and I was genuinely traumatized when seeing mark without his legs. Now that I’m older and have played the game myself I now see the episode is just even more disturbing and traumatizing then I’d first thought.
This episode has stuck with me vividly ever since I first played it. I knew the game was going to get dark, but the cannibalism twist was and still is insane to me all these years later. If episode one hadn’t fully hooked me, then episode two definitely would have.
Personnaly the main reason why i love this Episose is that its kind of a calm before the storm to me, Sure the story is pretty dark but there is no Major death aside from character you just met or straight up unlikable characters and overall it feels like a side story of the entire game with a somewhat "happy ending" and its right before the most depressing Episode in my opinion with tons of tragic death and betreyal, so replaying this one just brings me joy too see these character Alive when you know their fate the nest episode
Oh Gods I just realized something else while watching that last clip of Joline, "Bandits got their eye on that dairy. As long as they keep getting food from them, you'll be safe." Episode 2 literally caused the eventual downfall of the group. The motel had to be abandoned because of the bandits, the bandits attacked the motel because the dairy went under, and because of the attacks from the bandits-Ben started to give supplies since they tried to trick him about one of his friends. It really makes Episode 2 worse because of the domino effect
I despise the stranger. It was his fault that he somehow lost his son in the woods, and it’s his fault that he left his station wagon out for the taking. And then he blames Lee’s group for all his problems? Smh
Ikr? I still wonder how in the world he lost his son in the woods in the first place. Wouldn't he have seen or at least heard him wandering off? And to just go home afterwards?? (I know he probably searched and searched beforehand, but the way he says sounds like he lost his son and went “Whoops! Welp, better go home now”)
@@teamawesome5153 the stranger is so intolerable. It’s the apocalypse D u m m y! What do you expect everyone to just ignore a loaded car with supplies?? The save lots bandits would have stolen his car too lmao. He’s a f o o l.

The one thing I loved about this episode was the debate it constantly sparked. I watched multiple playthroughs, and the make or break of whether I'd continue was how they dealt with Larry in the locker (at the time I never got to play the game so I couldn't validate my own choices until otherwise, so that was how I took control). Most of the people I watched chose to side with Lilly and tried to revive Larry, and whilst I understand them, I always side with Kenny based on being harshly logical. I feel bad for Lilly and, hell, no matter how I felt about Larry I wouldn't have gone through with it unless I believed it was the best option for everyone. The consequences for not acting could've been grave for everyone involved if he truly was dead, and surviving a heart attack without proper medical attention after just isn't too likely. I feel bad for Lilly and understand her disdain for Lee when I chose to stop Larry from turning, but at the end of the day I always squish him for the betterment of everyone. :)
Plus by all accounts, Larry was a major detriment to the group considering he has a short temper and get into fights with everyone, which does not help do to his heart condition. An what happens if the medicine runs out as the pharmacy is running out of meds. Or he has a heart attack in his sleep and turns into a zombie, first thing he will do is eat Lilly while she sleeps. It sucks for Lilly but i have to side with Kenny on we got to leave the motel when the time comes, as Macon has already run its course as it lacks supplies and nearby bandits have made the general area there territory.
and also lilly even mentioned that she had to take larry to hospital a couple of the times because of the heart attacks, so it's reasonal to think that he won't make it this time.
The walking dead is my favourite game ever. But since it’s quite an old game, it doesn’t really get much coverage or content made about it anymore. I feel like I’d watched every lore video there is on this game. I’m glad I’ve discovered this new channel so I can finally watch some new TWD content after so many years. I get so excited every time you post a new video lol, hopefully you have plenty more to come. Great job so far tho
this is such a well put together video. i thought i knew everything there was to know about this game but you’ve given me even more to consider and think about so thank you so much!💜
Episode 2 was always my favorite of Season One’s WDVG, and easily among my top 5 in the whole series. While the series (both games, live action show, and comics), never shy away from the grittiness and brutality of living in such a world, it’s this particular episode that showcases how fairly good or at least decent people (minus Danny, who gave me the creeps from the get-go, and definitely needed to be put on the sex offender register) can warp into monsters. Starvation is a terrifying and horrible thing. It’s slow, it’s painful, and it messes with the mind. Brenda St. John, while a horrible cannibal, torturer and murderer, seems genuinely reluctant to shoot Lee even when she has the upper hand. And Andy, who definitely does the grunt work with his brother in “procuring” meat, falls into despair at the loss of his family. More than likely, they weren’t monsters in the beginning of the zombie outbreak, and unlike the bandits, we still get glimpses of their humanity. Like most people in the WD universe, they were people forced into dire straights thanks to the bandits and lack of food (plus, since it’s relatively still early into the apocalypse in terms of months instead of the years that people had adjusted to), chances are they didn’t get the chance to become their worst yet. If they had lived, say, a year more or two, how much more heartless would the brothers been? How long would it be before the mother started to take pleasure in killing? They are twisted and evil, no doubt, but if they became worse by feeding on each other in the winter? It’s interesting to think about.
Another thing I'd like to point out is that another "Starved for help" part would be when Ben reveals you still turn after passing regardless of the bite. You have the option as Lee to say "God help us" once again showing how much help they really need.
I would love to see a video in the future talking about Marlon, i love what we get with him and the hole concept of him trying his best to keep everyone alive and that he admits that he is a coward and feels regret for what he did.
shout out to the players who knew that saint jones are the evil ones, i say it's because of the brother's face, since i saw that ugly face i said that's it these are the enemies
I was so baffled for Clem & AJ reading up the "Better to sleep" episode that they originally wanted to do but then changed it. I'm in the middle where I feel like that would be so interesting to see but then again I don't and I'm so glad at the same time because I'd be devestated for that fate for Clem & AJ, we wouldn't have season 3 and season 4, I love those seasons and we wouldn't have seen the future characters 😭
the way when we confront the st.jhons and their just so chill and talking causually about their sick twisted ways sends chills imagine being the father of that family and your farm and your lovely family turn into the fcking chainsaw mass massacure
ben wasn't cut out for the apocalypse at all as much as i love him and think he's a great character the entire point of twdg, to me, is that people suffer in ways they don't deserve. kenny lost his family and he didn't deserve that but it created such a depthful and deep powerful character that wouldn't exist without his suffering, and to me that's the same for ben he died in a way he didn't deserve but he was able to make peace with kenny and able to make peace with the world; kenny puts his hatred aside to give ben a gentle introduction to the afterlife instead of letting him die in pain and agony. kenny was mad at ben and rightfully so and he COULD have left ben to die surrounded by the things that terrified him. he could have let ben's worst fear take him but he didn't and it created mutual peace between them for the very last time and this was such an important development for kenny and ben. it was left off on a perfect note i feel and it showed some development for ben (he actively tried to be better. he told lee to kill him because he was self aware that to the group he was better off dead, and he tried to be calm when he fell off that balcony and got impaled. he only ever panicked when walkers started coming because the concept of them hurting him was horrifying to him and was his worst fear) and completed kenny and ben's development and i understand the development you're talking about is development where ben, would grow into a strong person who could fight for himself and everyone else and do the good things he intends to, but that's never the person ben has been even if he's tried. he is a good example of what most people would end up becoming in a situation like this and a great flawed character. he never deserved to die the ways he did but what he is also a great example of, is someone who deserved better
Idk about you but I found Episode 2 to be really comfy; especially the motor Inn group being the biggest it will be in the season and change of the season to autumn. real cozy shit.
My one question about it all is considering that it's only been about 6 months, it kinda baffles me that some people would resort that quickly to cannibalism. That's always been one of my biggest gripes with TWD, certain societal norms are broken way too quickly I will grant that some people would break very quickly, especially considering the circumstances, but in some cases, it feels that it happened WAY too quickly Especially violent tyrannical leaders like Crawford, people would still be very empathetic during the time of season 1 which happens during the first year, and they would reject his pragmatical and harsh approach of survival of the fittest mentality
Seeing the current state of the world and how many people gleefully support the mass killing of children and women throughout the world, it truly doesn't bring any suprise.
i never thought about it like this but i totally agree, but then again 6 months probably felt like eternity to them in this situation… not sure if they eventually just stopped keeping track of time to add onto your point it’s weird how they turned to cannibalism when Danny and Andy are very capable of going out to scavenge food but then again i’m assuming there was nothing left since Lee’s group and the bandits all didn’t have food
@@clementinemarsh476 Considering there's a whole town fairly close by. Either there were a whole butt load of scavengers or they're too reluctant to take large risks since who knows how many walkers are around and hidden in town. Though, I think it's a big plot hole for the sake of creating conflicts and that's a big problem I have with TWD, it's about the whole mentality of "The dead aren't the ones we have to worry, it's the living." that's not creative or smart writing, it's pretentious
The stranger just doesn’t make any sense, even if we don’t kill Larry, dont kill the st johns, don’t steal from the station wagon, don’t kill that random lady at the beginning of episode 3, we just get chastised for either bringing Clem or not to Crawford
he is just looking for reasons to blame lee and take clem from him, probably due to his own feelings of guilt and trauma over how he lost his family or something like that. it makes sense, people be like that sometimes
This was definitely the darkest episode in the series. And the St. Johns being revealed as cannibals was definitely the scariest moment in the whole series for me.
When it comes to the Stranger, I personally think that there’s no way he had a family of his own considering how creepy he is and made all that up to make Lee feel guilty. Mind you, at the very beginning, in A New Day, the Stranger is seen in a truck for a couple seconds, already alone. And if he did have a family, it’s his own fault for losing the boy even after his wife warned him. Then he wants to steal Clementine from Lee, viewing what he’s doing is saving her when if he continues to treat her like a child, she won’t make it in a zombie-infested world.
i finish the last season today btw i played it for a very long time but due to responsibilities in life i cant manage to continue playing carelessly im so happy to finished it and reminisce the good ol times with lee.
Another dark detail is that when the fences randomly turned on. That would have been one of the brothers trying to get either Lee or Mark hurt so they would have the excuse to only take people who would already die. The bandits shooting Mark was just a coincidence
The only thing I would change about this episode is Mark. Don’t get me wrong from what we see of him I love him, but he was just randomly added in for the only purpose of having a “main” character die without actually having a main character die. I think he should have been replaced with Ben or his friend Travis, in another sort of Carly/Doug choice. Keep the how you meet them the same, if you choose to save the teacher everything stays the same just Travis is also at the camp now instead of stupidly being eaten by walkers (seriously go watch that death again, there is zero reason it should have happened). If you leave the teacher have there be a moment where Travis and Ben talk about the girl who ended it at the school and turned without being bitten to put the idea in the player/the groups head but don’t show it yet. Both Ben and Travis go to the farm with the first group, you then choose to have either Ben or Travis help you fix the fence, whichever one you choose replacing Marks role in the plot and whichever you don’t filling the Role that Ben has in the rest of the game. And if you don’t save the teacher, have the moment that it’s confirmed that people who weren’t bit turn be when Ben/Travis has turned and takes out Brenda (the mom on the farm) at the end of the episode. Let his last act not only be helping save the group, but proving that everyone being infected is true as without the teacher turning in front of them at the very least Lily, Larry and potentially Kenny would say that they’re lying. This wouldn’t screw with the rest of the story as Ben or potentially Travis would still have the 2 death options later (either in the bell tower or falling when jumping from the apartment) personally I think it’d be nice if Travis got a different option than the bell tower, or at the least a different reason for his death there so there could be some different other than dialogue changes depending on who you save, but personally in my mind Ben’s cannon death is falling when trying to jump from the apartment, and that’s something that easily and realistically could happen to both of them. We don’t see a lot of Travis in the current game, but what we do see gives me the vibe of a lot of false confidence so I personally just don’t see Ben’s bell tower death making sense for Travis (as in Ben telling Lee to let him go, I think Travis would be more likely to drop the tough act and start begging to be saved in that situation), but I can also still realistically seeing him do things like giving the bandits supplies, just instead of just trying to hide that he was the one who did it also arguing that it was the right choice and he “wished he thought of it” with some comment in regards to his old group who was attacked by the bandits.
If you don't say anything during the confrontation between jolee Lee and Dany she basically says they bring meat to the dairy, or something along those line and Dany start screaming at her basically reveling it.
His son kidnapped by bandits is more likely because if the son was kidnapped by the St John family, we would see a boy in the freezer room with the group or at least the remains of the child with Mark (Assuming that boy got eaten as well)
The game could of been something better if the writers weren't restricted. Maybe one day, A.I will be so advanced, we could just remake the game, with all of the ideas, and even add a few. Give it a prompt, a script, and it gives us a refurbished game, voiced and everything. Good video as always.
Literally what I was thinking! Imagine Ai being able to create the scenario of Carley never getting shot, or lee stopping Lilly in time from pulling the trigger, possibilities are endless if one day A.I can recreate twdg without being so restricted.

The teaser for "Long Road Ahead" was going to be longer, but was cut down most likely to prevent spoilers.
wow that was a lot
Damn I didn't know most of these. But this was cool, thanks!
Duck Shouldnt Have Been Bitten Because Duck Was Seen Infront Of The Train Watching The View Since He Was Having Fun So Katjaa And Duck Both Survived
@@ArchlordFelix Who knows, but considering they're cannibals at this point, maybe they did try to lessen the numbers by taking one or even two of them out
St Jones intentionally turned on the electric fence to get Lee & Mark to die slowly from injury and eat them.
im not sure that tracks though cause if they died outside the fence theres a high chance theyd get munched by zombies before the St Johns could get them, and I dont think theyd want to eat infected flesh (although I dunno if its ever been shown whether or not thats actually safe)
it's probably not to eat them, but to lower the number of people they have to worry about.
Damn I never thought about it
dude this story in hindsight when you’re not actually playing makes it so much eerier for me. having all these clues and shit explained all at once makes it all worse.
also, poor mark!! dude lost everyone in his life and for months was with randoms as well as trapped alone. he befriends lee and helps him out just to get hurt. after they get you in, they find an excuse to get rid of lee and leave you with strangers. they don’t kill you, but rather cut your legs to shreds, leaving you in a pool of blood all alone once again. but despite it all, he uses his last living moments to save the people he barely knew. poor guy.
the story all together for mark is so depressing… i really liked him too :(
It may have been the darkest episode but it’s one of the greatest episodes in the entire franchise.
Being the darkest is what makes it one of the best parts of the whole TWD universe

I think Jolene knew on some level her daughter had been eaten, as she was keeping spoiled boxes of st. John's food around her camp.
Worse happened to her daughter if you watch the tapes and pick up on the subtext
I mean Lilly in episode 2 might be annoying but not evil, unlike the next episode lmao
I agree! I just started the series again 😂
Personnaly the main reason why i love this Episose is that its kind of a calm before the storm to me, Sure the story is pretty dark but there is no Major death aside from character you just met or straight up unlikable characters and overall it feels like a side story of the entire game with a somewhat "happy ending" and its right before the most depressing Episode in my opinion with tons of tragic death and betreyal, so replaying this one just brings me joy too see these character Alive when you know their fate the nest episode
naw fr this episode was made well with a lot of twists n shi
It’s the apocalypse

@@mleyNukas still his fault. His wife told him his son was too young, and he didn’t listen. And he has the nerve to blame Lee even if Lee didn’t steal.
The fact that this Stranger says ik how to have a family UNLIKE u like if u know how to have a family ur wife and son wouldn't be dead or whatever big brain also he says u take clem to the most dangerous Places Crawford.st.Johns while he took his own son to the woods
if I was in this game I would’ve taken one look at Danny and would’ve kept Clementine away from him
The one thing I loved about this episode was the debate it constantly sparked.
It’s interesting to think about.
this game is a masterpiece a callback to the days when devs cared about the players and writing good stories for gaming
I blame devs less and more corporate interface now and days.
yeah its not the devs its the higher ups that fuck up games.
I will forever love the fight between Andy and Lee
Another thing I'd like to point out is that another "Starved for help" part would be when Ben reveals you still turn after passing regardless of the bite. You have the option as Lee to say "God help us" once again showing how much help they really need.
I would love to see a video in the future talking about Marlon, i love what we get with him and the hole concept of him trying his best to keep everyone alive and that he admits that he is a coward and feels regret for what he did.
shout out to the players who knew that saint jones are the evil ones, i say it's because of the brother's face, since i saw that ugly face i said that's it these are the enemies
Just sayin, the lore accurate food distribution includes clementine getting the apple
Another great video i have an idea for a video you could talk about theories and your own theory of how kenny escaped Atlanta
Lowkey wish Lilly wasn't just dumbned down to a generic villain in the last season, felt like she use to be morr complex at some point.
My favourite episode tbh, it was a fun and thriling watch

I was so baffled for Clem & AJ reading up the "Better to sleep" episode that they originally wanted to do but then changed it. I'm in the middle where I feel like that would be so interesting to see but then again I don't and I'm so glad at the same time because I'd be devestated for that fate for Clem & AJ, we wouldn't have season 3 and season 4, I love those seasons and we wouldn't have seen the future characters 😭

Genuinely my favorite episode in the entire twd franchise. One of my favorite telltale episodes of any of their games in general
i really wish ben was kept alive with kenny his character development would’ve been good ben didn’t deserve the die the way he did
Many people don't deserve to die but such is fate
He just wasn’t cut out for the apocalypse, not his fault but he didn’t adapt quick enough to his this new life.
ben wasn't cut out for the apocalypse at all as much as i love him and think he's a great character
the entire point of twdg, to me, is that people suffer in ways they don't deserve. kenny lost his family and he didn't deserve that but it created such a depthful and deep powerful character that wouldn't exist without his suffering, and to me that's the same for ben
he died in a way he didn't deserve but he was able to make peace with kenny and able to make peace with the world; kenny puts his hatred aside to give ben a gentle introduction to the afterlife instead of letting him die in pain and agony. kenny was mad at ben and rightfully so and he COULD have left ben to die surrounded by the things that terrified him. he could have let ben's worst fear take him but he didn't and it created mutual peace between them for the very last time and this was such an important development for kenny and ben. it was left off on a perfect note i feel and it showed some development for ben (he actively tried to be better. he told lee to kill him because he was self aware that to the group he was better off dead, and he tried to be calm when he fell off that balcony and got impaled. he only ever panicked when walkers started coming because the concept of them hurting him was horrifying to him and was his worst fear) and completed kenny and ben's development
and i understand the development you're talking about is development where ben, would grow into a strong person who could fight for himself and everyone else and do the good things he intends to, but that's never the person ben has been even if he's tried. he is a good example of what most people would end up becoming in a situation like this and a great flawed character. he never deserved to die the ways he did but what he is also a great example of, is someone who deserved better
He was awful
@@DirtyDev this is true but it would have been cool to see him in Season 2 a couple years later and see how he could have changed by then
Idk about you but I found Episode 2 to be really comfy; especially the motor Inn group being the biggest it will be in the season and change of the season to autumn. real cozy shit.
My one question about it all is considering that it's only been about 6 months, it kinda baffles me that some people would resort that quickly to cannibalism. That's always been one of my biggest gripes with TWD, certain societal norms are broken way too quickly
I will grant that some people would break very quickly, especially considering the circumstances, but in some cases, it feels that it happened WAY too quickly
Especially violent tyrannical leaders like Crawford, people would still be very empathetic during the time of season 1 which happens during the first year, and they would reject his pragmatical and harsh approach of survival of the fittest mentality
My thoughts are that the St John's were sick bastards before and now they can actually act on their 'urges'
Seeing the current state of the world and how many people gleefully support the mass killing of children and women throughout the world, it truly doesn't bring any suprise.
i never thought about it like this but i totally agree, but then again 6 months probably felt like eternity to them in this situation… not sure if they eventually just stopped keeping track of time
to add onto your point it’s weird how they turned to cannibalism when Danny and Andy are very capable of going out to scavenge food but then again i’m assuming there was nothing left since Lee’s group and the bandits all didn’t have food
Whole episode had me anxious
fire video brother, this season overall is j amazing imo
I just look at danny and get bad vibe not at all surprised that he's a cannibal, murderer, pdf
Never skip a lenny video🙌🏿
This was definitely the darkest episode in the series.
And the St. Johns being revealed as cannibals was definitely the scariest moment in the whole series for me.
We almost got an episode to be more darker than this cuz it featured a kid and a new born dying but I'm kinda glad they didn't go for that
When it comes to the Stranger, I personally think that there’s no way he had a family of his own considering how creepy he is and made all that up to make Lee feel guilty.
Episode 4 and 5 were darker and in my opinion.
9-10 years old this shit had me be stressed the fuck out
The only thing I would change about this episode is Mark.
