    Those who look down on wing Chun it’s not their fault, because these techniques should have a structure with horse, and keep your elbows centered, hit from the elbow to release full energy with the hip generating the strike

    I was talking about this work out, Win Chun which is my favorite art. A high end sports car in the trailer, but a messy background is confusing to them.

    These are good drills, however, the first mistake is you're not in the right stance, when you should be in a Jeet Kune Do stance, not a wing chun stance if you're applying Bruce's principles. Also, all the simultaneous attack and defense movements you're doing is in the 21 blocks and counters in original Jeet Kune Do which is what Bruce started developing when he was in Oakland. And the low line block you're doing isn't a gan sao, it's a cup sao which is a lot more powerful for deflecting hook punches to the body and kicks. You can only use a gan sao for a hook punch because if you try it with a low round kick, you can break your arm. A cup sao(scooping block) you won't break your arm because you're using the inside of the forearm where more flesh is at than bone. And btw, i've training JKD for 10 years now, so I can see everything you're doing where most people in your comment section haven't. You should title this vid Wing Chun simultaneous attack and defense movements because this wouldn't be the way Bruce would apply it because of your stance. It is a good drill though and would work if applied correctly. Your Tai Chi videos are good btw, and a lot of your wing chun is too.

    No disrespect but Tan sau would not work on a real boxers tight hook punch. Test it and you will find out the Truth. Thanks

      Bro tan sao hook pe kaam karta hai bas aapko thoda apna body movement karna padega ,but eske saath agli ho technique hai wo deadly hai usse us boxer ko jyada nuksan ho jayega

    • @SamuMusashiExp
      @SamuMusashiExp 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It does work if you modify your tan into more of a bent push up with your tan band doing it but almost like throwing a coin type of deal towards your opponent arm (inside) hard to explain in text but Donnie yen myself shows a video how to use it in a fight and I tried it alot with my mma friends that I train with daily . it did work alot. Just got to change it a bit

      "Real boxer" Is this bare knuckle boxing or the ones with the oven mits? Either way I am pretty sure the style is irrelevant and down to individual core like stamina, strength, speed etc. In my opinion Boxing is more of a sport. Every boxing match I've seen they just hug each other more than fight, kinda like MMA with their floor dance.

  • @drpavlovic1411

    I can bet that most of the people who didn't practice WC will perform Tan sao wrong, they will use the sweeping movement, rather than the diagonal one, from the center. Something like ude-uke in karate, when they move the arm from left to the right, if they use the right arm.
    The other thing is that ideal Tan sao should have the first contact (with the opponent's arm) with the backside of the palm, then to rotate to the final position.
    And, I don't know why do you use Tan sao only to the level of the shoulder? If somebody wants to hit you in the eye, you that Tan sao must be higher than the level of the shoulder.
    Gan sao. Is it what some master call KAN SAO? The principle is the same, only it doesn't go to the center, but to the side. The same pain will experience the attacker when you use Kan sao. The same as the hook in the face can be blocked with Bil sao, with a lot of pain for the attacker.
