Yeah really. Addressing someone by their title is also a mark of respect, and captains by definition are the pinnacle of leadership among the troops. In that regard, you have more than definitely earned the title over and over again.
These stories are so intriguing, you should write a book, even if it’s just as few short stories. I know plenty of people would buy it (including me!)
I kinda miss the minifigs, but its good to see the series expanding.
While I am going to miss you using Lego minifigs for these stories, I'm glad to see this series continuing. Commodore Xavier does have a nice ring to it imo, but at the same time it sounds a little too formal for everyday use(maybe use it if you ever need to pull rank when talking to another captain lol)
As for which story you should tell next; they all sound very intriguing but if I have to pick one I'd very much like to hear about breaking the zombie hoard.

Generally it depends on the situation with me. When I'm asking for modding advice or spitting ideas I'm usually talking to Chaylo but when I talk about you to other people I'm talking about Captain Xavier because that's how your channel is known.

How would one find a local organization such as these medieval recreation?
Search the Internet? They all have websites or facebook pages. Search for the Empire of Adria or the SCA. Their national websites should have links to local chapters if one exists. If none exist...start one. :)

Almost sounds like the story of the band of the hawk from berserk (which is a good thing). To me 'captain xavier' is more a name than a title so I'll probably call you captain if we ever actually meet (which is unlikely because distance)
In a similar fashion I have been ZeroBlade for so long now in online games that that is my used name among some of my friends. They first knew me by that name before meeting up in the flesh and getting to know my actual name. It becomes a part of you in the way your given name does or a longtime nickname.
I like the story time thing, I never actually watched your lego channel (maybe I should) so I didn't know it was a thing, but it works nicely along blaster modding. My vote is in the poll, but I hope we get to hear the other stories as well
Same, I always go by Guiarkaroh, which I have styled as high dwarven, and everyone always mispronounces it. It is rather sad though since a height of 6' 2" is not conducive to playing as a dwarf.

In The Crew, everyone is trained in every weapon type. People are allowed to specialize but I expect my soldiers to be able to fill whatever role is needed at any given time. Keep in mind this is not exactly a LARP. There are many similarities but medieval recreation is a very different system than say Ampgard or Belegarth. All skill have to be real skills.

Realms of Avalon and the Empire of Adria. They are Medieval Recreation groups. This was long before I got into Nerf.
In my opinion if someone bests me in combat or another trade they deserve whatever rank they are commonly called by (Xaiver v Marty duel 2019 😉) see you at Jared’s! (Btw you don’t have to duel me you just have the most experience out of anyone I know and I think it would be very fun (for me at least))

If you wanted to fly a banner you should have flew one out of spite. I would have. If the rule was "only knights can fly flags" I'd say fuck you I'll fly a flag if I damn well please. (In character of course)
The thing about games with rules is, if you don't play by the rules they don't let you play.
Captain Xavier that is a key observation. But considering how your character was played, being a pirate the rules should be partailly chucked out the window with the most important shit being left to write the Codex.
We preferred the bend and twist the rules or simply find things no one had thought to make rules about. Breaking the rules out right is both lazy and ruins the game for everyone else. I prefer a creative approach.
Captain Xavier You prefer finding loopholes and holes in the walls that you can walk into and say "HEY! THIS THING WAS HERE BEFORE I GOT HERE, Don't blame me because I walked around the problem." When I would prefer, Kicking in the front door, taking it, shredding it, glue all the little shreddings back together with a new handle and paint job, and then walk in.

I agree. I tried to avoid the politics as much as possible. But it turns out when your army is larger than the combined armies of everyone in a 500 mile radius...you don't get to be apolitical...in fact, you become a political entity all by yourself...which can be fun...
