Is anyone still listening to this song? I’m Japanese, and 25 years ago, I took my first trip abroad. The destination was Disney World, and we stayed at the All Star Resort. I heard this song on TV there and quickly wrote down the title. On my way back home, I stopped at a CD store in the airport in Minneapolis. I didn’t speak any English, so I showed the note to the clerk. I was so happy when I could finally buy the album with this song! It’s still one of my favorite memories, and hearing this song brings it all back.
Amazingly, this song was quite a hit in Asia back in '99 when country line-dancing came on to the scene at that time. This was a zesty happy-go-lucky song that line-dancing groups just love to dance to
I think they were overlooked for The Dixie Chicks (whom I love too). They were compared to them because they came out with their first album after TDC made a massive impact on the charts with their own debut 2 years earlier. Three women, one main singer with two back up harmonists singing country music. I think radio favoured TDC. Whatever it was, SHeDAISY made really nice country music and deserved their time to shine. Their first album and singles from it did really well in the charts but after that, people just stopped caring even though their music was still quality. It happens to many music acts. Sometimes people like the whole "New" thing of the moment but don't want anything new from them! Look at Cyndi Lauper. As soon as she changed what people loved about her music and style her sales dropped dramatically and she' never had the same success despite still making music just like SHeDAISY!
I saw them do a free concert at the World Trade Center a year before the attacks. They were great! It’s funny but since the death it Toby Keith, I’ve been going back and listening to the country music of the mid 90’s to early 2000’s and truly forgot how good and fun the songs were back then. Simple tunes not over produced that truly balanced the country music and southern rock genres. It really took me back. Good times!!
I heard this song on the radio. Lol. No t.v. shows or any video games. Just popped in my head and I didn't know the name but remembered some lyrics. Man I haven't heard this in years!
I actually didn't hear any of their music until about 2015 when I somehow stumbled upon one of their videos on TH-cam and instantly fell in love with this group. Did some research and found out that the oldest writes the songs for them and all the impossible trouble they went through to get published and produced and my respect for them soared from that point on. I bought all of their CD and still listen to them today. Excellent music with catchy sound. Love these ladies.
I really enjoy the SheDaisy Music exspecilly the I will BUT song because every women I've ever went out with she said that she would but there is something she won't and I really respect women for that.
Great song & gorgeous girls, but they really should fire whoever chooses their stage outfits. The girl on the left looks like a social worker in that outfit!!!!!
From a guy....you don't need to be a master chief but a good cook and baker is much appreciated. After all women have small feet so they can be closer to the stove. Lol. I like old country. Modern country stinks
What a great band. Also, their backup band kicked butt there. I think Phil Symonds and Mark Oakley appeared in the video. I'm not sure about the fiddler though. For a moment I thought it was Dan Kelly. Because I believe he was with Steve Wariner in the early 90s, Faith Hill in 98', Alan Jackson in the mid 2000s, and Clint Black recently. I'm not exactly sure if that fiddler was Dan or not.
I just wish the song had like a last verse telling us that’s ok. A way to make it ok cuz we may not feel pretty enough but that’s not the point of life even if for a long time we think it is. Instead I’m left sad by the song. I love this song cuz it speaks to my emotions I’m just evolved enough (and so is she) to know it’s not what matters In the end. This is my guilty song for when I’m wallowing in my shit.
I know you asked this a long time ago, but it could have come down to the way they harmonized best (Kristyn always sang the low parts), or, maybe Kassidy had the strongest/most versatile voice.
@JamesMcHone Apparently, they dissed the U.S.A. to some foreign country while they were on tour. And apparantly, us Americans decided that if they didn't love the U.S.A., and had opinions contrary to that, they weren't allowed to perform. I haven't actually looked anything abou this us, but a friend of mine said it, and he was really into country music....
Allie Miller it's true. They said "we're ashamed that President Bush is from Texas". They weren't played on the radio in the US and they weren't allowed to tour the US. Sooooooo they toured Everywhere else

I loved this band, and songs like this. We need this kind of country music back.
Yes we do. 💯👍🏻
Blame Taylor Swift, she's very talented but all genres of music need diversity and she just dominated everything since she became famous
ShEdaisy, Miss you terribly Ladies.
I miss them too. They were my major weapon in helping my daughter to understand why I like country music. Them and Martina McBride.
These ladies did it right by keeping it in the family and their music is still some of the best out there. Wish they would make more music like this.

Interesting
CMT’s “Top 12 People’s Choice” was a staple of my childhood. Memories.
Does CMT even play videos anymore?
Does CMT even exist anymore?
These ladies are awesome!
Too bad they didn't get to be bigger than they really are! I think they're a great group...👏👏👏 👍

Damn these girls had it!
I remember when these girls hit it big about 14 years ago. What this woman needs was the first song of theirs I ever heard.
It's like a 90s fashion car wreck. I can't look away!
C Wolfgram love the music, though, yeah?! 🎶
ACC's #20 song of '00. God bless ya, Eka, for postin' it. Thanx!

The first I heard of this group was years ago on the Drew Carey show. I’ll admit this song is catchy.

You girls have an outstanding voice
She Days are the best I wish they would come back
I really enjoy the SheDaisy Music exspecilly the I will BUT song because every women I've ever went out with she said that she would but there is something she won't and I really respect women for that.

They are very pretty.
Great song & gorgeous girls, but they really should fire whoever chooses their stage outfits. The girl on the left looks like a social worker in that outfit!!!!!

The "lead" singer is excellent. Kind of reminds me of Amanda Wilkinson.
Another Amanda fan!!!

These ladies are from my home town.
I remember listening to this song over and over again. One of their best. Better than what's her name. The swift girl. Hate her.

I always assumed Kelsi was the youngest of the group. Didn't know Kassidy was younger.

Shedaisy's I will but reached at number 2 on the U.S. country charts in 2000 behind that's the way by Jo Dee Messina

Kristyn…mmmmmmm❤
stat cool
i dont kno it but i like it
I won’t be your mother’s favorite
@arichar692 srry, actually, that was the dixie chicks srry for the confusion
@NadorsGoddess exactly. Taylor Swift is one of those people who has no idea how to sing right!
Kristyn?... oh, yeah....... :)
What happened to these ladies
hope so
If Kristyn Osborn writes the songs, why isn't she the lead singer? She should be.
I know you asked this a long time ago, but it could have come down to the way they harmonized best (Kristyn always sang the low parts), or, maybe Kassidy had the strongest/most versatile voice.
WHy does this look like Wide open Spaces.. with the video footage.. copy cats.. but i love this song and vid is cute
theCreator they came out around the same time, and this was kind of a thing by many bands. Also, this looks nothing like Wide Open Spaces
2:43 to 2:46 is my fave part
@JamesMcHone Apparently, they dissed the U.S.A. to some foreign country while they were on tour. WastedChildhood TYVM
1:48 Kristyn Robyn Osborn seductive as ever.
Do you a link to support that accusation? I believe you are confusing SheDaisy with Dixie Chicks.
Anybody notice the reference to "Love Will Keep Us Together" at 3:07?
How
I will I will never marry any of them too much high maintenance and soon becoming another Karen
Shane 23
