Great understanding of the use of ND filters - I've got a couple of videos coming soon with the FREEWELL filters. Enjoyable video and many thanks for sharing the info
Every time I watch a video featuring the Avata 2 it pushes me a little closer to clicking the "buy now" button. I know I'll end up purchasing one so I might as well just do it. Another great video Amok.
That's a really good idea! - I haven't done a review of the Air 3 Filters yet so that might be a good opportunity! Thankyou for your comment and thanks for watching! 🖖
I really look forward to your videos 😀 Now I may be a bit strange (it's my age) but, I prefer look of the non ND filtered footage. The unsullied video, to me, looks more exciting and dynamic. It also affords the opportunity to freeze frame and take a sharp still image if you see something interesting post flight. I am sure ND filters have there place for some, but . . . Keep up the sterling work!
Thanks Johnny! Yeh - there are reasons not to use them, and as you say - if you want to take especially detailed and sharp screenshots then that would be the way to go - especially if at altitude. I just find that for scenes with a lot of movement in or close to the ground, the video that is produced is a lot easier on the eye and more cinematic, but you do you (and you do it very nicely! 😁) All the best!🖖
Your brilliant my friend, so original so comical! Another great vid! Must start having a go with my filters had them a good while now forgetting to use them! ( Age thing)👌🖖
Thankyou Paul - I do my best! (Well, enough to get by 😂)Always lovely feedback from you and it’s much appreciated. Oh - and just a tip - just leave an ND16 on during the winter and ND32 on during the summer and you won’t go far wrong… Cheers! 🍻 🖖
Movement is the key I think - so if you're down close to the ground and there's movement then it helps - even if on auto. But if up high as many of your legendary vids are, then not really needed as much. Your Sunday Walk was a lovely film - really nicely timed. (like I'm f-ng Barry Norman! 🤣) With some of the low altitude shots with the water and the wheel - I'm (genuinely) wondering if they might have been more 'cinematic' with a lower shutter speed. Don't get me wrong - I'm DEFINITELY no expert but I'm just thinking about this in the context of the conversation. Love your vids - keep 'em coming! 🖖
Another banger video! Great explanations.
Thanks Anthony - was another lovely afternoon FPV-ing with my boy... 🖖

Cheers Buddy - Just make sure you have someone on hand to act as your observer/spotter otherwise it'll be sat on the shelf rather a lot!🖖
Great video , buddy!!!! Useful and funny. 🤣..... maybe it’s worth doing a comparison of generic brand filters and the Freewell soon.

@paullawrence8572 yeh - I generally leave my ND32 on it (you obviously need to remember to take it off if flying at night! 😂)🖖

So if I was to wear some ND filters over my eyes, for example whilst driving, would the world be more pleasing to my eyes?
😂 yes - it is a bit tricky, but I find sellotaping them to your face seems to do the trick! 🤣 thanks for watching! 🖖
