@@pandabossanna Hi I just watched your video and was quite intrigued by what you said, Could you please tell me what would be the hourly rate expectations right at the start and would they be worthwhile as a full-time job thanks.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I'm an Algerian who studied english in the UK for two years, can i do the course and become an online English teacher?
EXACTLY at 3:00 as an English native speaker it's the same- the grammer is ingrained but for the life of me- I can't explain it not now. So while I teach on ITalki I'm keeping my focus to conversation which for the intermediate and above level is so needed, they get grammar in school, but can't speak.
Thank you so much for this video Anna! I find a lot of other people aren't really open in telling others which tefl courses they recommend or have done themselves which makes my search for an actual accredited tefl course very difficult😢 But, I think I will definitely check out the site you recommend! Hopefully I feel as content with it when and if I take a course from them myself!
If you've learned a language before, learning the words for the grammar is definitely easier. I know Spanish as a second language and am learning Mandarin, and I had such a hard time with a grammatical structure. The explanations made it weird and foreign. But then someone told me, "yeah, no, that's basically the equivalent of the conditional tense." Then it clicked. But had I not known Spanish, I wouldn't have known what a conditional tense even is.
Congratulations - very interesting. A friend of mine went to Japan to do this some years ago and never came back. Such opportunities it can afford. Nice work!

And if you have any other advice/feedbacks to share, feel free to let me know too!

Do you get online support too ?
Great Ana. Well done. How much is 300 pounds in dollars?
Hi, does it make much difference to employment whether I do a 169 hour course compared to 120 hours? (I don'thave a degree)
No I think most just want min 120 but otherwise it’s just for your own knowledge really :)
do you just need a tefl certificate to teach abroad?? or do you also need a 4 year bachelor degree, if so, which programs do you recommend?
Most of the desirable countries will require a bachelors. But you still have options without one.
Hello miss.
Congrats for completing the TEFL.
Sorry for the stupid comment.
Do you have a bachelor degree ?
In many countries- almost all- they requiere a bachelor degree and a TEFL in order to be able teach, especially abroad.
No I don't have a degree :) hasn't stopped me teaching 10 students a week though
Do you think that after completing this course you are well equipped to teach both young learners and adults?
Yes :)
I’ve seen you in video courses of TEFL in China🌹
How? I haven’t done anything like that
Hello Panda Boss..Could tell me about the nature of TEFL.org online courses' assessment and tests?
It's mostly multiple choice, with quite a few written assessments which have to get marked by a tutor
I am very interested in joining your course but one thing I confused is that how will you get the fee from me because I am South Sudanese
I don’t run a course
I found some tefl or TESOL course for $35-$50. How bad could this course be to get? I just wanna teach online
I wouldn’t bother with one that isn’t recognised by most institutions to be honest :)
Hi Is studying tefl hard cause i want to do it but abit stressed idk if i should do it
It depends on your English level really :)
@pandabossanna I'm from south africa
@@yazziboyme too. Did you start your tefl?
@@Uhhidk03 No
Hi I'm looking at doing the TEFL course . How have you got on since completing it. Did you find much work ?
I ended up quitting my job just to teach so yeah :)
@@pandabossanna what platform are you on?
Do you also need to speak the foreign language too ?
Nope
Do you know if you’ll definitely get a job at the end of the course ?
The course doesn’t guarantee a job, but I have been teaching for a few weeks now
How long do you get to complete the course? What happens if you fail an assignment
6 months and nothing you re-do it
Thankyou so much for being so sweet and replying to my queries I can’t believe it’s been two years since I asked and only just seen the responses ❤
Thanks for the video! Do you have a uni degree as well?
You’re welcome! And no, I don’t :) I have a masters level accounting qualification but no bachelors degree
Also which examining board is the certificate from
Thanks
There’s no examining board the certificate is from tefl.org
