Why are you in such a hurry. After 35 years of teaching I notice that teachers want to move on as fast as possible. Those are the ones who always forget about wait time too. Yes, students need to "talk" and be corrected, but not too long. Oh, anyone working online seem to have to go as quickly as they can. I taught 15 years as a High School teacher teaching Social Studies, Then I took a TEFL course - Anyway It's been a wonderful career. My last 20 years I taught overseas in the Middle East. 12 of those years were teaching in a University in Saudi Arabia and I loved it.

Will it be harder if I'm someone who doesn't have a degree but wants to give this tefl a try to make into a short-term career. I'm young, I love cultures. Hello I am Italian living in Scotland and I was thinking of doing a TEFL but I'm worried that they won't hire me because I'm not a native speaker and English is my second language. is anyone with experience that had similar doubts?
It wouldn't necessarily be an issue not being a native speaker but you would probably have to meet certain language level requirements (e.g. C1) in English depending on which organisation you take a TEFL course with.
For the international one I work as a kinder teacher from 7:30-3:30pm. Will I have time to do the part time one? I’m just interested in expanding my resume and learn more about teaching. I love to travel and teaching kids so maybe in the future It can be beneficial.

Hi. I completed the 150-hour International Diploma in English Language Teaching (IDELT) earlier this year, in addition to the Teaching English Online bundle and Grammar Advisor. The IDELT was an intense program, tons of reading and writing, but I learned a lot, despite already having over 25 years of English teaching experience. I chose the program because it was at graduate level and accredited, which was important to me for credit recognition abroad. I was thoroughly impressed with the course and the high level of service. All feedback was prompt and helpful. I can't recommend Bridge highly enough. Their prices are fair and you can also save money by purchasing courses during one of their frequent sales and by bundling.
I am 1000% going to do a TEFL course. but dont know which to chose. I am switching careers from IT to teaching, and want to stand out to employers, so i want to make sure i pick the correct course. I to I is a nightmare people. Their live chat doesn't work, their phone number doesn't work, their callback doesn't work. They deleted my old account that I purchased a membership a couple years ago with so I emailed them trying to figure that out and get a course extension, they emailed me back asking when I bought it and what email I used (they couldn't just look up the email that I emailed them from?) I sent them a screenshot of my purchase with all my info and it's now been a week since I sent that and still not received a response. Absolutely unbelievably horrible tefl course to take, do not support these incompetent worthless idiots.

Hey there! I just came across this channel while browsing on TH-cam. I have a quick question: Are any of the mentioned certificates more suitable for teaching in Latin America?
TLDR: will Maximo Nivel's certification qualify me to teach in Paris? if not, what tefl course that is less than $400 will? (not married to TAPIF, but I understand it is the standard way to teach in france) I want to teach English online (or possibly in class, but I prefer online) while I live in france, and I have been doing a lot of research about everything required to do so. I know that I need a tefl certificate to do so. (im aware that if I had a Celta or tesol that would be way better, but those are out of my budget). Anyways I have landed on the Maximo nivel tefl course as that provides practicum, live teaching, is 120 hours long, and comparatively cheap (

Just wanted to drop a comment before asking the community on the websites, no luck asking Interac ALT or Aeon directly on the school's mentioned on the video, but if my aim to go as an ALT first not straight teacher, and with those companies (I know not the best records from friends) what the above mentioned schools do "they" like or does it matter?

Hello I am Italian living in Scotland and I was thinking of doing a TEFL but I'm worried that they won't hire me because I'm not a native speaker and English is my second language. is anyone with experience that had similar doubts?
It wouldn't necessarily be an issue not being a native speaker but you would probably have to meet certain language level requirements (e.g. C1) in English depending on which organisation you take a TEFL course with.

For the international one I work as a kinder teacher from 7:30-3:30pm. Will I have time to do the part time one? I’m just interested in expanding my resume and learn more about teaching. I love to travel and teaching kids so maybe in the future It can be beneficial.

Hi.
I completed the 150-hour International Diploma in English Language Teaching (IDELT) earlier this year, in addition to the Teaching English Online bundle and Grammar Advisor. The IDELT was an intense program, tons of reading and writing, but I learned a lot, despite already having over 25 years of English teaching experience. I chose the program because it was at graduate level and accredited, which was important to me for credit recognition abroad. I was thoroughly impressed with the course and the high level of service. All feedback was prompt and helpful. I can't recommend Bridge highly enough. Their prices are fair and you can also save money by purchasing courses during one of their frequent sales and by bundling.

I am 1000% going to do a TEFL course. but dont know which to chose. I am switching careers from IT to teaching, and want to stand out to employers, so i want to make sure i pick the correct course. Will the standard 120hr course be enough? or do i have to do a 168 or more to stand out? I am looking into i-to-i TEFL and The TEFL Academy at the moment.

I to I is a nightmare people. Their live chat doesn't work, their phone number doesn't work, their callback doesn't work. They deleted my old account that I purchased a membership a couple years ago with so I emailed them trying to figure that out and get a course extension, they emailed me back asking when I bought it and what email I used (they couldn't just look up the email that I emailed them from?) I sent them a screenshot of my purchase with all my info and it's now been a week since I sent that and still not received a response. Absolutely unbelievably horrible tefl course to take, do not support these incompetent worthless idiots.

TLDR: will Maximo Nivel's certification qualify me to teach in Paris? if not, what tefl course that is less than $400 will? (not married to TAPIF, but I understand it is the standard way to teach in france)
I want to teach English online (or possibly in class, but I prefer online) while I live in france, and I have been doing a lot of research about everything required to do so. I know that I need a tefl certificate to do so. (im aware that if I had a Celta or tesol that would be way better, but those are out of my budget).
