This sound like a Rick on the Neck pickup. What do you think? Reference: th-cam.com/video/GAMfimltm1c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kG9jpqp-68EGNnsL Bass comes in at 0:36
Since Geddy, nor anybody else can remember exactly which bass he used on each track, we'll always have this endless back and forth about which bass he used. I'll still go with my gut, which says Jazz Bass.

It's his 1972 Fender Jazz Bass. Sounds like the neck pickup might be favored and some compression.
This is rick with neck pickup imo. Sounds like a jazz in the mix but when you hear this it sounds completely different.

Sounds like the Jazz to me!!
Yup
Wow this really sounds like the Jazz to me. A B this with Moving Pictures and it’s right there!
Remember half of Moving Pictures was the Ricky. This is the same tone as Red Barchetta, and that was a Ric.
Man, 1:09 - 1:19 Geddy is just jamming!
For anybody that knows, is geddy lee playing the chorus part on his bass or on keys
That's an arpeggiated synth sequence that he would just be playing on a keyboard. Probably the OB-X.
Amazing! If you could post the guitars i would thank you a lot!
I plan on finishing the guitars and extras soon!
