    I just drove a 2017 rs v6 this past saturday. I took to a parking lot, drove it around, and even did two first gear pulls in it. This one was not stock, has a tune bumping it from 335 hp, to 360. I wanted this car as my next ride before this saturday. There, s no way i, m not getting it now. Forget the Japanese run of the mill accord, camry, maxima. This car will embarrass them. As for the germans, i, m good. The camaro is the one for me , hands down, and i can, t wait 😁

    I purchased a v6 2018 Chevrolet Camaro 1LT at the beginning of April 2021 and I love it!
    Very fast and the car is a beauty!

    I rented a v6 camaro yesterday. Fun, fast car, plenty for the street. Ran up on a challenger, easily pulled ahead in the turns, and left him way behind on the straight away. I was impressed with this car, handling is amazing. I pulled a 0-60 in 5.0 seconds flat in cold weather. That's at least as quick as the challenger RT. Sounds good too.

    • @thatreviewguy6109
      @thatreviewguy6109 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ya I highly doubt you ran a 5.0 second flat time

    • @theguy4615

      I took a pic of it. Several runs in the low 5's

    • @CarolinaAutos
      @CarolinaAutos  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Did it have a timer in the car? Apparently the automatics have one but the manuals don't?

    • @theguy4615
      @theguy4615 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it has a timer in the car. My 5.0 run was done at 30 degrees so the tires spun. I was impressed, going to buy one in the spring with npp.

      @thatreviewguy6109 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@theguy4615 i simply can't believe that due too my dads 2016 rt only running a 5.5 in perfect conditions it also had pirelli summer tires on it. I'd like to see proof of this because a 5.0 in a stock car mostly in cold weather where the tires won't grip will not run faster then the suggested manufacturer time. I may have got the wrong number but I simply cannot believe you ran faster then 5.1 seconds 0 to 60.

    I just cant choose what i want. Theres an awesome 2LT v6 near me with some nice aftermarket things but its an automatic and really don't think ill enjoy an auto. Idk if i want an NA v6 or if i want the Ecoboost mustang, cant choose

    • @CarolinaAutos
      @CarolinaAutos  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Ecoboost is going to FEEL faster in most conditions due to the torque down low. If you don't enjoy really winding a car out on a back road and want it to be fast around town, go turbo 4 Camaro or Mustang. Camaro chassis is slightly better in my opinion, MUCH better in 1LE form. Manual vs Auto is all about preference. GM put the 10 speed auto on V6 cars starting in 2020 and the auto is absolutely faster in a straight line. Less fun though. Check out the high performance package ecoboost mustangs too, they get the old Focus RS motor and are quick.

      It's OK as long as you don't need to take anyone else in the car. The back seat is basically unusable. Other than that, gets great mileage and drives super smooth.

      @@CarolinaAutos That is true. The 2.0T or V6 are much lighter and still quick. Around a track, I think they would be quicker than the v8

    • @08turboSS
      @08turboSS 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They are mid 5 sec cars and the auto ia slower. And you cant get much hp in mods out of the V6, the 2019+ models have no headera either and no tunes out there for anything 22+.

  • @Junior44-f7x
    @Junior44-f7x 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    So as far as the 0-60 times for the v6 camaro, i believe the times for the manual is 5.3 to 60, where as the automatic is 5.1. I am seriously considering buying one of these v6 camaros, but the prices are going up due to it getting ready to be discontinued. This review, plus the fact that i have been in my brother, s 17 rs v6, it, s the one for me. An american car that feels drives and sounds like something straight from munic. Can, t wait to get one, thanks for the video.

      It does not. It has the no-lift shift but no launch or rev match

    • @unknown8a105
      @unknown8a105 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CarolinaAutos I have seen some people saying the V6 1LE has it but the way to trigger it is different than with automatic transmissions. For Manual transmissions the Launch Control is
      available within Competitive Driving Mode, the clutch has to be fully pressed and the transmission is in
      1 (First) gear. Then the accelerator pedal is rapidly applied and held to wide open throttle. A smooth, quick release of the clutch, while maintaining the fully pressed accelerator pedal, will manage wheel slip. Could you try it?
