No, I haven't found it to be bad enough to slow me down on the street. On the track, it might be a little slow to rev but I think you could just slow down your shifting a little bit and never notice it

Rev hang can be solved with a tune. I used to have it on my focus st and got the ford performance tune. It got rid of rev hang and improved throttle response.

I picked this car after having a Veloster N for a year and I love it. So much better driving characteristics, better exhaust note (on the V6 at least) and the brakes are stupid good on the Camaro. I can't wait to get an SS 1LE but completely happy with this for now, especially on a back road.
Question: I bought a 2020 LT V6 6 speed manual with 3k for $23,800 in Riverside Blue. When I bought it I assumed that at least the engine and trans are exactly the same. Well. They are; except the oil cooler and trans oil cooler are not installed on the LT. However, I found out that I can drive my car just like you did and not do any damage or even stress the brakes. So it WAS an incredible deal for 335 hp and 285 lb ft with a 7200 RPM hard redline.. That is a heck of a good deal. I bought it 2 years ago....and took a 2.5% loan. Payment= $325 mo for 72 mo. Insurance with Geico for 500/500 deductible and state minimum full coverage was $102.88 a month. There was a $30 price hike so now it is $133. My record is clean for at least 3 years w/o accident and no tickets for at keast 3 years or more. So 325 + 133 = $458 a month and the V6 runs on 87 octane. Would I love the SS for $300 more dollars a month? Probably. But what if I got a ticket? My insurance on an SS would be $225 a month. Payment with today's rates $500 $725 a month at least. I installed the SS rear spoiler, the ZL1 rear diffuser, and tinted the windows to 35%. Added custom LLOYD'S Custom floormats with Camaro RS. Caliper Covers are installed. Black with 'Chevrolet Racing" and the Chevy Emblem in Gloss Ceramic black and white lettering. -Installed 18"gloss black wheel skinz over existing alloy wheels which complete the RS look -added stock Bose front speakers and a small sealed rear subwoofer with 350 w RMS and a 12" sub. -Added the engine oil cooler. -added the B-14 Bilstein Nordschliffe PSS sport suspension for $1100. I have the "CAMARO" by brembo front brakes and bracket. Waiting on rear set. So I paid about $2700 to make my car into an RS V6 1LE. Including a new BMW M3 suspension and thicker aluminum BMR end links to complete the sport suspension so it can be lowered and keep correct geometry. I love it. ❤️
This car is a unicorn, there are ZERO V6 1LE's within 250 miles of me. I think it will be highly collectable in the future. Funny enough, I was comparing a Veloster N to a Camaro as well, I'm glad I found your channel.
Same and im in Ontario. I found a few for $37,000 2017 1lt v6 with 80,0000km on it (which is about 5,000 above market value) and its not even the 1le package. I'll just buy one new. Used cars used to he cheaper than new ones, but apparently the games changing

These have been using the same manual gearbox for years now on the V6 cars and the 1LE cars have done tons of laps at tracks and I've not heard of a single issue. I drove one with over 80,000 miles on it and it still felt as good as new to me
Working on getting it done, just no time to film. The Veloster N fanbase can be trash haha, one of the biggest demerits of the whole experience, outside of Hyundai's service
If you push traction control button once then hit it a second time and hold it for 5 seconds traction control and stability control will be off. No nannies.
Hey bro! Sorry to see you sold your Veloster. The Camaro is faster but will give you more grief down the road. They simply aren't built as well or offer you as good a warranty. I've read too many horror stories to consider one. But I'm glad your happy with it.
My Veloster had given me a lot more trouble in the first 10k miles than the Camaro has, and the Camaro sets me up nicely for my next car. I never keep a car longer than 1 or 2 years anyway.
I thought you said you had a leg/foot issue and needed to change from a manual transmission to an automatic? Looks like another manual to me. Leg all better?
I have the 2020 LT V6 that I strapped a Supercharger to and then added a Bilstein B-14 PSS suspension to it. It's awesome. 468RWHP and 424RWLBFT. That is not "SAE NET" which adds about 17% and is what is advertised on TV. So I have 538.02 on a cool spring day with the climate control OFF. It is a BLAST, and costs LESS that the RS 1LE setup...which I am sure has more than 335 hp. More like 350 hp. I drove mine like that and LOVED IT! N/A is so direct and no wait for power to build like a turbo or supercharged car. But, I have a T-shirt that says "Hey honey...I need just "1 more part...please!!"
@@SWEETVENOM100 actually it was a disaster. The looks I nailed. The computer in the car I had to farm out to get reprogrammed. Still gave me a "clutch overuse warning" in 5th at 55. Finally figured out the thing has cylinder deactivation. You can't lug a Supercharger AND A/C with A V4 and with the supercharger not on it draws power like another A/C compressor. I finally figured it out. Project car indeed. It's fast as stink now....and the clutch is fine. (It did have a more linear Power band but now that supercharger sound and floating on torque.....man it's fun). Without the Suspension and BMR end links I would never be able to get into it on this closed road I use. (In moderation and I programmed an annoying speed limit exceeded) light just to not ...umm die.

I got my present Csmaro V6 6 speed with 3500 miles for $22, 000 out the door. I mean it was $27,000 but I had $6000 equity in my previous car. Carmax gave gave me what I PAID for my Kia Optima Turbo. Awesome deal at 2.64% for 6 years. So I pay $335 a month for a real sports car with 335 hp. Now Carvana will give me $30k in TRADE for it....and I only owe $16,000. So....YES I would like to get a ZL1 or An SS in primo condition.

@@CarolinaAutos it's an automatic and so far it's been fantastic. I heard if the build date is February 2019 and Beyond that you don't have to worry about the shutter. I checked on my build date and luckily it is February 2019. Let me know if you found the Performance Timer.

I removed the supercharger. It was putting strain on the trans and I couldn't allow that. 1 step too far.

Nope, that's on the SS only I believe, or maybe 2LTs? The tab just switches it to the dark mode like a normal mirror
The camera mirror comes standard on the 3lt and 2ss. Not available as an option. I kinda wish it was standard on all trim : )
do these 1le v6’s have launch control because i see it has the competitive mode esc like on the ss?
It doesn't but it doesn't need it. You can dump the clutch at 4k RPM and there's enough grip to get you moving

Mine definitely doesn't have a performance timer - just a regular timer. Seems like the manuals don't have one for whatever reason
